Highly recommend GB Liners. We engaged their services for our relocation to Ireland. From the very beginning, with regard to obtaining a quote through to the very end, GB Liners were professional with polite staff and clear communication. We felt in the loop at each stage and our 'point of contact' was always on hand. The removal staff themselves were again polite and very efficient. Nothing was damaged in the move. Great care was taken to protect our belongings including the carpets at each end. The foreman of the removal team was a pleasant chap who was easy to work with. We got all our answers quickly and this helped for our choice to work with them. The packing in London went very smoothly - the three movers were kind, professional and super efficient. Everything was in the truck faster than expected. The moving in Switzerland went perfectly well - it’s a partner from GB liners and they were great. Super efficient, polite and they even helped us build some furnitures - that wasn’t planned but they did it almost spontaneously ! Keegan, Steven and Glenn - three absolute gentlemen who handled all our precious (and not-so-precious) household items with care and attention. Moving in is a stressful affair, but when you have three self-starters like these guys, who also have a good sense of humour, things are not so bad! In fact, they're really rather good. Our place isn't the easiest in terms of layout and access, but the chaps worked it all through with a smile on their faces. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism. From the initial quotation through to perfect delivery, all the staff at GB Liners Ltd were great. I got a clear simple quotation for my move from UK to Switzerland explaining all the costs and the administration involved. A collection day was fixed and kept to with a very efficient crew coming to my UK address on schedule for a very swift collection. In the interim, all the Customs and Importation administration was handled immaculately ensuring no delays or extra costs. On the appointed day the consignment arrived at my new Swiss address and an efficient crew offloaded all my boxes into my home. Faultless service throughout. I have used GB liners twice now while relocating from UK to Switzerland - the fact that I have used them twice probably already speaks volumes about what I am going to say next. Each time their service has been impeccable, I cannot fault it in anyway. And with an international relocation its not just the packing, the moving, being on time, being professional etc; its also about managing the customs clearance process, the form filling with respect to that and the awareness of the all the little things that matter which are not written down in any manual or any documentation. Caroline from the Brighton office who helped me each step of the way and patiently answered my million emails, the chaps who turned up in London and just blew my mind with their packing skills, and the guys who delivered, unpacked, and set everything up here in Switzerland, they all have been absolutely fantastic. But the best compliment I think was from my normally taciturn Swiss German neighbor who couldn’t help but remark “sehr gut packing”!

Used GB Liners for a move from Castleford to York - excellent removal team. Started at 08:00 and didn't finish until just before 6PM. They cracked on and worked hard. They were careful with all of our belongings, and didn't cause any damage either taking things out or bringing them in, which given I damaged things just moving them around in my own house proves how careful they were! GB Liners aren't the cheapest provider, but their teams were good, the boxes I brought through them were great quality, and they made the process smooth. Would highly recommend, and will be using them next time I move also. Next time, I might have them pack the boxes though - as I don't ever want to have to do that again!

I had a very good experience with GB Liners moving from London to Switzerland. I have done several international moves and I hired other companies in the past that were not as good as them. Since the beginning they are very responsive by email and in general communication from beginning to end has been clear and regular. The entire process is well organized and everything is transparent. On the day of my move, the two guys that came were on time, friendly and very efficient. I have found an apartment in Switzerland faster than planned and they managed to organize the delivery of my stuff very quickly. Again, the people that came were efficient and friendly. All in all, a very good experience and I would hire them again. A move can be very stressful and they definitely made mine easier.

We booked GB liners to move us from Edinburgh to Munich after a company we used before (and liked) let us down with high quotes and no communication to help us come up with alternative solutions. I put my move into a search site and got an immediate response from GB Liners. I could tell from the first phone call that they knew what they were doing and that the cared about coming up with a solution. They helped us revise our plan to one that was affordable for us; in fact, every call and/or email was answered quickly and I really felt like I was an important client, even with our small move. When it came time to pack in Edinburgh the movers were prompt, friendly and efficient. They cared about our belongings, treated them with respect and used high quality materials to protect them. Instead of a direct move, we saved money by having our load go into storage for a few weeks (which suited our timeline) before having it delivered to our self store unit in Munich. The moving date was left open but we quickly got a call from GB Liners that a date was available just days after we arrived in Munich - BONUS - it was a Saturday!! Once again the delivery guys were early, friendly, efficient and happy to help us neatly fit everything into our storage unit. Moving is VERY stressful but GB Liners made it easy and even fun.

Jamie and Tom helped by Neil moved us from Hampshire to Suffolk. With the CXOVID we largely packed the boxes but even so they managed to get everything here in one piece. Courteous and patient throughout and hugely considerate of carpets, walls etc they managed to get us here safe and well. Great move in October 2020. We had a chap come round to give us a quote and he went through the house in detail. The quote was reasonable for 4 men, 2 lorries and a whole day moving so we went with GB Liners. I am very impressed with these guys. Very personal yet professional attitude from pre-sale to packaging to delivery to post move support! Charlie, Caroline and Mandy will all take great care of you! Moved from London to Zurich and had a huge issue when my elevator broke and I was faced with a prospect of movers having to drag my entire flat out to street level from 7th floor. Hopefully GB liners managed to quickly send an additional team (for cheaper then expected) to support with the move. Thank you Klaus for taking the news on the chin and being a great sport about the whole issue. The packaging was done quickly and professionally, delivery was very fast indeed. Monday the team collected my belongings and Friday I already had my boxes delivered to Zurich! Finally GB liners have some bad rep for damage. I did get 1 chest of drawers damaged in transit, but the insurance process was quick and painless (I chose the settlement option rather than the full reimbursement as I believed that the value offered was fair). Would highly recommend this moving company! And will travel with these guys exclusively if I ever need to go back to London.

Older couple relocating back to the U.K. from France. We were a couple in need of much… We were a couple in need of much support, you might say, clients that are every removal company’s worst nightmare! The task was to move from Burgundy to a town near Bath. We called GB Liners as they had taken us out to France 14 years ago. Yes, they still had all our details on file. They put together a quote and fixed a date. So far so good. However, we were in the middle of moving house locally so by the time we got to France to meet the team, we were already exhausted. Due to Covid and said local move, we had been unable to get to France to do a much needed life laundry. But all the while, Charlie and Tom at head office, answered our questions and were positive and ‘can do’. The team arrived. Jamie and Kevin came first, filling the home with calm professionalism. We were both very anxious, would it all fit in a van? Over the 14 years in the house, it had become the family furniture store. In addition, Storm Alex hit the area and the garden was fast filling with water. Jamie and Kevin were like guardian angels. They flew around the house, squaring up each room, packing everything speedily and uniformly. The next day, the second van arrived and the boxes vanished into the van. The two teams worked harmoniously and non stop with no complaints. We had been dithering about bringing our piano back. But a “shoe” was supplied and our salon grand was nearly packaged up by John and Orlando. All four lifted it into the van with a single moan! The wind and rain carried on but the team remained sunny and encouraging. This was vital as we faced a very long drive back to the U.K. to meet the vans. After 10 minutes of unloading it was clear that the team ‘got it’ they knew where to go and what to put where. There was a great deal of overflow to go into the garage, Jamie and Kevin orchestrated this perfectly and John and Orlando put the piano together again. Then Orlando did the most amazing Tetris job, stacking the garage so well that we didn’t need a store. All the while, Jamie and Kev using so much initiative to organise the house. These guys are so experienced, so well trained and enjoy what they do. Nothing has been damaged, we are stacked high but can find everything because they are also psychic! Thank you GB Liners. I wholeheartedly recommend this company, unreservedly and with pleasure. Their professionalism is no happy accident.
