Used them for a move a few days ago and could not recommend them any more. Incredibly efficient, organised and bloody good at their jobs - they made what could have been a hideously stressful chaotic day much more manageable. Super polite, friendly, lovely guys, and managed all of our awkward furniture without a single dent or scratch unlike previous movers! Will 100% use them again, thank you so much!

Adam and the team were absolutely amazing. They helped us to transport boxes of alcohol to our wedding venue, and couldn’t have been more helpful. They offer a very professional reliable and friendly service at a very competitve price with lower carbon emissions. They took very good care of our items - nothing broken both times all very well, carefully packed. Nothing was too much trouble for Sam, thanks again for making it such a stress free move! The delivery drivers arrived early, were polite and did the job extremely fast. We were impressed with the speed and efficiency of the job, also good communication with Sam beforehand to organise the removal itself. Great service.

I recently moved house in Brighton and contacted The Green Man & Van to help me move some large items of furniture on the recommendation of a friend. The helpful driver loaded all of my items safely into the van to avoid damage and even though the move took longer than anticipated time was taken to ensure my items were unloaded carefully- not to mention helping me carry everything up a steep flight of stairs! Overall an efficient, well priced service that I would definitely call on again.

Sam from the Brighton office organised all the logistics for us, even as we dithered over our moving date, and he turned up at the start of the pack to help a new driver make sure everything was done properly. A fast and pleasant response by phone from an internet enquiry - many other enquiries have still not responded with an initial quote! Very impressed with the "no problems" attitude towards moving on a Sunday and to also negotiating a first floor narrow staircase at either end of the move. Sam arrived on time and moved several boxes with speed and efficiency and good humour. I had booked the minimum 2 hour move and everything was achieved in just over one hour. Overall a very good experience and I shall certain use The Green Man & Van again for next move. I have now used The Green Man and Van 6 times. [My daughter moves out of her flat every year, lives with us for a few months, then moves into another flat! Sam has also handled our partial house moves from Nottingham. What I like: efficient quotes which are accurate. Competitive quotes. Trustworthy. Sam has driven to Nottingham and back to Brighton three times and arrives almost precisely at the time quoted. Has dealt with tricky narrow staircases, heavy awkward furniture, lots of boxes. Really like the "no problem" attitude. Very pleasant, reliable. I have a couple more moves planned - and will not hesitate to use Sam. Thank You!

This is the second time I have used GMV. First was the London team from Bethnal green to Ealing a few years back. I was happy with the service and the price so happy to use them again for my next move from Ealing to Brighton. The guys packed up the entire flat in double time. Everything was stacked and packed well, meaning all items made it to Brighton safely. No breakages or damages at all. Quick, friendly, professional and reasonably priced. Would recommend. Thanks v much GMV. It was probably the least stressful element of moving home.

I moved home last week (within Brighton), and acquired about 14 quotes ranging from Van men, to formal moving companies. Green Man & Van were recommended to me by an ex employee of their's, who runs a local hardware store on 7 Dials. I am absolutely delighted that he did. To date, I have always used uninsured van men, as they are cheap and cheerful. I had an unfortunate experience with one on my last move (some boxes went missing) so was keen to use a legitimate company this time. The quote they provided was in the lower range of costs I recieved, and was competitive with far more amateur offerings. I went with two men and a lwb luton They showed up punctually (picking up a sofa I'd bought that day for me, before arriving at my home) and made swift and careful work of the move. Friendly (funny) and convid conscious they were an excellent team of two and the move went without a hitch. There was 0 damage to any item or property they moved some quite heavy and large pieces through. They had ample blankets, mattress covers (king size) and fit an offensively large amount of items in their luton van, without a hitch. What I had thought would be a two trip job, took a single journey and we were done! The whole process was finished in just over 3 hours. I would use them again should I have to move in the future, and appreciated they are also carbon neutral vs. other offerings. Great service, staff and pricing!
