Initial discussions with Del were reassuring and comprehensive - nothing fazed him including the need to extricate the bed over the balcony! My wife and I recently moved house, using the services of Blankfields Removals. Every aspect of the move, from the first day of box packing to the reassembling of the swing seat at the end of the moving day, was undertaken with great care, consideration, punctuality and professionalism. Del and his team made us feel that we (and our belongings) were in safe hands. We cannot recommend them highly enough. As an aside, my stepdaughter and her boyfriend moved to Greenwich in 2018, using Blankfields. After moving again to Woolwich earlier this year, using a London-based company, she said, “I wish we’d had those blokes from Colchester.”

From the first phone call I was highly impressed with the professionalism and friendliness I received. We moved house on 17th December 2020 and was greeted by a lovely team of removal angels at 8am sharp on our doorstep raring to go. They were quick, careful and so very helpful and put my mind at ease with everything. Being heavily pregnant and moving house I was dreading it but with the amazing team we had it was so relaxed. Very impressed right from the quoted price to the guys doing the moving. Very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Got us out of trouble too when the house sale failed on the completion day, they took all our belongings to storage and luckily made time for us the following day (at a cost of course but it was fair cost!) Couldn't be any happier with them. Keep it up guys!!

Blankfields Removal came to our rescue at very short notice. The team arrived on time and made the move extremely stress free. We required 4 trucks and a team of five. Superb. Packing and moving a large house and enormous amount of stuff, completed in two days. REALLY nice bunch of blokes who were prepared to do anything to help and who worked and worked and worked... Brilliantly packed: we have lots of glass, china and pictures (I had no idea how many pictures!) and not a single item was damaged. Del and his team were amazing. Worth noting that they did the job for 60% of the price quoted by a well-known removals company and took a day less.

Del and his team did a great job moving us despite the very short notice. Moving is stressful enough but Del and his team turned up exactly on time and just got on with the job. Everything arrived safely in the right room and by using a separate van for the potplants and garage stuff everything else was kept clean. Dels team were absolutely brilliant and even at the end of the day they still had a sense of humour. Based on our move I would fully recommend Blankfields who did a great job at a reasonable price.

We have used Blankfields/Man & Van on three occasions, one for a house move and twice for a business move. The household move was fast, efficient, friendly and went without a hitch and quicker than planned. Nothing was damaged or broken and everything was put where we wanted it. The first business move was a mixture of office and training equipment and that went without a hitch. Last weekend was the biggest move and items included a large amount of office equipment, training equipment and stock. From start to finish everyone was friendly and fast. It made it so much easier to unpack when items were put where we wanted them. Thank you very much and I cannot recommend them enough.
