Moved from West Yorkshire to Ilkeston, had been quoted a two day job by some companies but Wayne and his team made it comfortably in one day. After many ups and downs with our chain it was reassuring to have someone stick to the plan. Turned up on time and were friendly and competent throughout the move. Had a two hour wait for completion before we could start off-loading but no problem. Would highly recommend Derby Removals, friendly efficient and a good price.

We were tempted to rent a van and do the move ourselves from one end of Derby to another, but after using Derby Removals I’m so happy with the choice we made! Wayne and the team are friendly, hard working and skilled at moving things well. Their experience means everything was moved in one trip (2 trucks) with no damage to any of our things, nor either house. There was a delay with the solicitors meaning they had to wait for a few hours whilst it was resolved but they were very patient and understanding. I’m so grateful! I hope I never move again but if I do I would definitely use them!

Couldn't rate Derby Removals more highly. Efficient, personable, on-time and reliable. Helped us out when Pickfords could no longer fit us in. We used the full packing service (would definitely recommend) and had a lorry and van move us 15 mins down the road. All in all, a great experience and would highly recommend.

First Class service from the initial request for a quote to final bill payment and everything in between. Wayne and his team were extremely professional and hard-working throughout the day. We had some quite specific requirements including the transportation of a vehicle body-shell which they were able to accommodate with ease and at a very reasonable cost. Communication throughout was excellent both responding to emails and returning telephone calls. We're not planning on moving again but if we were to do so they would be the first people we'd call.

Wayne and his team stepped in at very short notice to move me from one house to another. Wayne was extremely responsive to phone calls, messages etc and came in person to look at my contents and gave me a quote to include everything that I needed moving. The day went extremely smoothly and they arrived just before the allotted time and worked solidly until the vans were loaded. They worked just as hard unloading my things at the other end and placed everything where I needed it to be. i would definitely recommend this company. They were very considerate and careful and completely took away the stress of moving house from me.

Had to move out for 5 months for building works, came and cleared everything and put it into storage, dismantling large furniture carefully Once we were ready to move back in, a quick call to Wayne and he managed to fit us in when we wanted to get everything back in, furniture re-assembled and everything back in it's place Very quick, but careful service. No damage to any items at all while in storage, no damage or marks at all when the furniture was brought back, and all very competitively priced. Can't recommend enough Pete

Wayne and his team were very responsive, friendly and efficient. They had a some tricky access at both ends of the move and handled things smoothly and professionally. We had some issues around our chain for our sale which resulted in us having to shift dates several times and Wayne was very patient and understanding- a huge relief at a stressful time! Excellent service! I was really struggling to find removals at late notice and just when I was giving up hope I called Derby Removals & Storage. Luckily Wayne had a cancellation so was able to help.
