Martin was very professional and polite throughout the entire process. He stepped in at short notice when another moving agency stood us up and the price he quoted was still below that of the other agency, despite the added hassle of short notice. He turned up at the agreed time - or actually just before- and organised the entire move in a very efficient way. Used Martin again this week to move some more furniture and again had a fantastic service. Once again he was punctual, efficient and friendly, as was the guy he had helping him. He was moving cream coloured couches and even wrapped them individually and carefully to ensure they were protected and kept very clean. Definitely recommend him and we will no doubt use him again in the future.

Used Martin to move house recently and would heartily recommend! Prompt responses to all emails/messages (I wasn't sure what furniture I would sell/get rid off as downsizing!) and turns out Martin was also the cheapest, particularly as a lot of companies charge double for weekend dates. I am not one who thinks cheapest is automatically 'best' but I liked his honest, upfront approach and my instinct was right. Turned up prompt on morning of the move, van loaded and moved before I even had time to get the kettle on in the new place. Everything in one piece (there were some boxes of more fragile goods like crystal etc) so if you're moving, these are the guys to call and will definitely use again!

The guys were great. I asked for two guys to come and help me move a 2-bed flat to a 3-bed house. They arrived early, moved all my furniture and boxes quickly into the van, then in at the other end. They had all the lifting/packing equipment, were careful and were done in less than 2 hours.

Extremely obliging and reliable - transported an American fridge freezer up to our top floor flat with no fuss or bother after the supplier's delivery team had declined. This was done promptly, and at a fair price. Martin was also very understanding when I was trying to arrange a subsequent replacement delivery - lots of to and fro, and he did not lose patience. Top notch! Highly recommended.

Van Man Removals collected some pieces of furniture from Cumbria and delivered them to my top floor flat. We urgently needed to move some things from a flat to a storage depot and due to the taxi companies in Edinburgh refusing to take even just a few boxes(it would have gone in 2 people carriers) we resorted to Google and fortunately came across Martin and his site. He was there within the hour for us and was extremely helpful and pleasant,it only cost us £35 and we were preparing to pay £50 for taxis so that was amazing.Would highly recommend Martin and Van Man Removals if ever you are needing to shift some gear.

Used Van Man Removals today, only to move a double bed, double wardrobe and corner sofa. Dismantled and moved the furniture, as agreed. They wrapped the matres and covered the wood to avoid any scratches. Very friendly, very efficient and competitive on cost. They even replaced a broken slat on the bed (broken by me a couple of months ago). Not sure what else they could have done so 5 stars.
