Staff are very helpful and responsive to any queries you might have. We moved from house to storage to house. We opted to pack ourselves but the staff made sure everything was wrapped up nicely. Any cabinets with mirrors they would also wrap up for you. 4 stars because we’ve lost some screws from a baby gate which we’ve had to replace, and a pax wardrobe sliding door was forced back on resulting in bent metal hinges causing a horrible scratching noice when used. Managed to solve the problem ourselves. Would advise if you opt to have disassembly and reassembly by them, to have instructions for the furniture as it might not be the same staff. Otherwise, great service.

We hired Moving Home Made Easy to help us move and we are so glad that we did. David came out to the house to review how much stuff we had to move and to talk us through the process. When we contacted other companies, no other company offered to send someone out to do this. A few days before the move, David came out again to see how we were getting on and answered questions that we had. The day of the move was stress free thanks to the fantastic movers who worked quickly and efficiently to empty our house. They had the entire van packed in less time than what was estimated and took care when packing our stuff. The movers were already at the house when we got the keys, and the guys were fantastic putting furniture/boxes where we wanted them. They were all incredibly friendly, polite and nothing seemed like too much trouble for them. All in all, choosing Moving Home Made Easy helped make what can be a stressful day, so much easier. Moving Home Made Easy made our move very easy. From the visit to assess our needs to the variety of quotes and options to meet different budgets to the conduct of the team on the day of the move everything was done with enthusiasm and care. I’ve have realised that finding a good removals company is always tricky – you only do it occasionally and there’s no going back if things don’t work out on the day! I have usually used a friend’s recommendation or other local knowledge before, but being new to the Glasgow area that was not so easy. My move was a local one (only 8 or so miles in the Garelochhead area) and I really wanted it done in a day, so I got 4x quotes. The highest was outrageous and they obviously didn’t want the business. The lowest was just too low and I couldn’t see how they could make any money and I really didn’t want to trust my entire house to some guys who were probably being paid less than minimum wage. That left two, who both did a proper survey and I chose ‘Moving Home Made Easy’ as their quote was reasonable, the surveyor who did the survey was very knowledgeable, offered good advice and easy easy to deal with. The whole ethos of ‘Moving Home Made Easy’ appears to be around customer service and I thought I would give them a go – especially as the personal contact and information given by David Reed the MD was second to none. The move went fine, the guys were great and took good care over the boxes (I packed myself with boxes provided by them and some I already had) and with furniture etc. Nothing was broken or damaged. All in all I would recommend ‘Moving Home Made Easy’ as they seemed to live up to their name.

I cannot recommend Moving Home Made Easy enough. In all honesty, we debated for about two weeks spending the money (we all know the friend who can drive a rental truck or the ever present Gumtree ads...). I am SO GLAD WE DID. They were always immediately available, patient with my endless questions (I’ve had some traumatic moves!), and very clear about what to expect. They were even flexible when we had to move early. They arrived within 3 minutes of the time we’d set and were rapid and efficient. The guys were all so nice and listened to my direction without having to ask again (particularly important when leaving a partially furnished flat). The move was super quick and easy - I had no anxiety about my fragile items, having seen the care they took from the beginning. Pick them - it’s so worth it. If you’re like me and have terrible luck, trust that this will be the most seamless part of the moving process.

We contacted Moving Made Easy after being let down by one of the 'big national' removal companies. The removal companies were very busy during lockdown and our usual 'big national' removal company wasn't very accommodating or flexible (I thought it was part of the process that moving dates have to be flexible until all missives are signed!). They didn't seem to care. So we did some research on local companies and decided to give Moving Made Easy a try. The MD, David Reed, emailed us back promptly and also phoned us to arrange a date to visit and quote which he also did promptly. David was very personable, professional and accommodating. We arranged a full packing service for the day before the move and asked for most items to also be loaded the day before so that the rest could be done quickly on moving day. We also asked for a couple of hours to clean our new home before the vans were unloaded on moving day, which the guys were happy to do. Everything went to plan as asked! We were very impressed. The packing and moving team were friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and it made the whole process as stress free as possible. Customer service must be a priority with this company. And after the move the guys came back to collect boxes and packing materials on a couple of occasions when asked. The price was similar to the 'big national' companies which we initially questioned. But they were more accommodating and their service is as good if not better, so we're happy we gave this local Glasgow company a chance. They are expanding so will probably soon become one of the nationals soon. I just hope they keep their excellent customer service policy. We would definitely use them again.

From the first consultation I had confidence in this company. Of the quotes I received, theirs was in fact the highest, but the questions they asked about specific items of furniture and advice they offered on preparing for the day convinced me that it was worth paying a little extra to have the job done right. Couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Moving Home Made Easy and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. We had several large pieces of BoConcept furniture which they meticulously wrapped to protect it in transit which arrived in perfect condition at the other end. Nothing was too much hassle for the team on the day, who effortlessly carried our belongings up several flights of stairs carefully, including a heavy exercise bike. They provided packing materials a week or two before the move as we opted to pack ourselves, although they do offer a packing service. We received a fantastic service from David’s team particularly Ben ,Alex and Bert. We decided to pack ourselves as we had the time to do it but a full packing service was available So the team arrived first thing on the day before the move and loaded about 90% leaving us with overnight essentials . They finished off next morning again bright and early and left us with a few hours to clear up and get the keys to the new house The keys were delayed because of the chain but Ben said just to call when we got them and he would be straight over with the vans. We got the keys at 2 pm and just over two hours later we were installed in the new property . The team were courteous friendly respectful of our furniture and items and very polite. Nothing was too much bother for them. We have moved many times in the past and have tended to use the big national firms however this move was the best by far. To finish off the service, there was an error in my acceptance contract that the washing machine was to be included, which I didn't know about and took my machine with me to my new home. I got a good first impression - quick, clear and straight-forward communication with David, Managing Director. The excellent service continued until the job was completed. David personally visited my home to assess the job and made a follow-up visit to hand-deliver boxes and packaging materials (after I requested some help at short notice). The majority of my furniture and possessions were pre-loaded the day before my official move day (which helped considerably to make the process less stressful). Moved home just today with Moving Home Made Easy. The 2 removal men arrived and they were helpful courteous and polite. We chose MHME based on the positive reviews and their site mentioning handling unexpected changes and delays. I'm very glad we did, I suspect our move would've been a total failure if not for them. Our buyer's solicitor was totally useless, and messed us around so many times. Firstly, they got the moving date wrong, forcing a change of date at quite late notice. David from MHME helped us sort a new date 10 days later during a busy time - he was great, but sensibly keen not to over-promise and go for a date that they couldn't deliver on. Secondly, the solicitor botched the transfers on the day, so we didn't get our keys until 16:45! The guys were graciously able to help us out and finish the move despite it getting late. Those were the bits that we couldn't control, and they did a fantastic job during a stressful time. All the other stuff on our side was excellent: Brian did the initial consultation in person with helpful suggestions, the movers were right on time during the day, they took care with the furniture and wrapped things well, and they were impressively quick. We were at the point of looking for hotels in case the keys fell through, but MHME did their best to get it finished, keeping in touch throughout the day, and I'm genuinely grateful we went with them. Absolutely recommended.

We recently used Moving Home Made Easy for removal and storage. From the initial quote being given to the work being carried out was incredibly easy. On the day of the removal, the team were incredibly fast and efficient, from laying blankets throughout the house to prevent any marks to packing sofas. It was clear they are really experts in their field. We had initially considered doing the removal myself and renting a storage locker, but seeing the team in action, it was evident this would have been a bad option for us. Doing it myself would have taken hours and weeks and weeks with probably hundreds of van trips. The Moving Home Made Easy Team completed everything within 3 hours. On the day we moved into our new house, they again, got to work very quickly. It took a total time of an hour and a half to offload the contents and place each item neatly back in the correct room. This was so quick due to the 7 strong team al operating as one unit. A very slick and well oiled machine and an absolute credit to the organisation. They do exactly what they say, and make what is a notoriously stressful time very easy indeed. 10 out of 10. Now we just need to unpack.

Can’t recommend this company enough after they moved us from our two bedroom 3rd floor flat. Pre-move, the communication was spot on and David was quick to answer my emails. On moving day, the guys arrived on time and got to work immediately. They were nice, polite, and hard working. I’m not even sure how many there were in the end (they had an assembly line going down the stairs) but it meant that the job was done much quicker than I expected. The staff who were involved in my removal were just full on in every level. This is a first class team who conducted their work with the utmost precision and care. I could not believe that a house move could be so stress free, I certainly wasn't prepared for the expertise of the staff. They packed my belongings and reminded me of small silly things that I had overlooked. I personally feel that the day I was dreading so much was dealt with ease and I actually felt that this was just fantastic. We selected MovingHomeMadeEasy from 3 quotes - their pricing was competitive and importantly they did not charge additional fees for waiting times whilst we waited to collect keys or working past specific time - which for us, was just as well as we did not receive our keys until 4pm! Team arrived in the morning with 2 vans and 4 personnel - all were very polite and careful with boxes and goods. - Guys went at their own pace and didn't rush - which was fine as we didnt have keys and secondly it was a very hot day (25c) After we finally received keys the guys were onsite quickly and starting to unload - team worked very hard in hot conditions and were again careful with all items there were no breakages or damaged items :) In addition, the team also re-built cot which had to be dismantled initially and also moved couple of larger items between rooms. What a pleasure it was to have these guys handle my house move. Very competitve price and i can honestly say there was not a single thing i could fault them on. Arranged for 8am amd they turned up exactly in time and they blitzed my house in a flash amd loading it up between the two vans that was sent. Matress protectors etc all used which was a added bonus since i totally forgot about them. Seeing some of these fake reviews below is laughable my move was 21st march and unless it was a completely different team of guys they are talking about i would say its 100% lies!
