Mark, Tim, Jason and Chris were absolutely brilliant. We moved over the hottest two days on record so far. The guys were brilliant they kept happy and cheerful even though they were all melting. We were amazed at their professionalism to be honest. We just kept the ice cold water drinks flowing and they just got on with it and kept the jokes up.They lifted our mood completely The move was over four days moving across the country I do not think we could have done it without them. We moved with Advanced from Brockworth recently, and Roy, Neil, John and Geoff were great. Very professional and friendly, and nothing seemed to phase them. The only thing I would criticise was that we wanted to pack ourselves, and they include boxes in the price. However, the amount of boxes and bubble wrap provided was hopelessly too small, and all the boxes were quite small - you couldn't fit anything more than small items in. Luckily, we got a lot of big boxes from another source for free. Not sure if Advanced would have given us more for free if we asked. But overall, it was a very good experience on moving day, and good value compared to other quotes. They also were very accommodating of a rather last minute exchange / confirmation of moving date.

We have used Advanced Removals to store some of our furniture in-between house moves for several years. They are excellent and so reasonably priced. Our stuff was safe, nothing was damaged in the storage process and if we wanted to access our storage we just told them what day and our crate was ready for us when we arrived. In September 2017 we used Advanced Removals to help us move house. It was our first move with removal people doing it for us. They provided boxes, tape, bubble wrap, everything we needed, which we weren't expecting and was a lovely surprise. We had boxed everything and they came and magically got it all in the lorry and the speedily unloaded it at the other end. We were moving from a three storey townhouse to a four bed detached house and as our sofa had gone into the first floor lounge through the window, it had to come out that way too. Nothing seemed a problem though. We had Mark and Jason as our removal men and they were amazing. They made the day so enjoyable and stress free. They were so quick, strong and added some great laughs to our day while being helpful and friendly. Thank you Advanced for assisting us with a stress free move. It was worth every penny.

Writing to say a huge thank you for arranging such a seamless move. The truck was a bit too big but it didn't matter. Rob and John did a fantastic job, worked like Trojans and cleared the flat in double fast time. I think feeding them regular coffee with sugar helped! Booked Advanced for removals plus fragiles packing for a big move to London. Roy and Arron were an absolute delight to work with. They were very friendly, worked quickly and efficiently, and handled our belongings with care. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We had a bit of a hiccup our side that meant not everything non-fragile was boxed up in time for them for the move out day. They were very calm about this and even helped me finish up what needed to be done. In the end, everything was done and in the truck before lunch! Getting belongings into the new place was very smooth, even despite the steep narrow staircase. Communication was good, with them asking where unlabelled things/furniture went rather than guessing. Bookcases which had been dismantled were put back together, and everything ended up where it was meant to. Thanks for making a big life change a ton easier!

Although Advanced Removals were not the cheapest quote I received my instincts were that they were best suited to the job in hand. How right I was. Moving us from Worcestershire to Hamshire, Roy and his team did a grand job over 4 days ( 2 out and 2 in, with 6 weeks storage in between) and were a joy to work with. Some of our goods were cumbersome and heavy ( We had to move a workshop as well as the house contents). The guys were so helpful , getting everything in the correct position at the new address. Fantastic experience with this company and all the staff members we dealt with. We had a large house move a large distance with a period of storage in between. We also had a packing service. From the initial quote visit from Dan I felt confident they were able to do the move on time. The price was competitive with other companies who quoted. The packing was very safe, nothing broke in the move, and rapid. The guys who unloaded the house did a great job and we had 2 of the same people on the moving in day meaning they knew what boxes/furniture came from which rooms. In the lead up to moving day we were given plenty of boxes, bubble wrap and tape to prepare. On the day Roy and Dan carries out our removals and they were fantastic courteous throughout and took real car of all of our property. They were careful to social distance during current climate as well and I really felt they had tremendous respect for our property. 4 bed house was packed and on the wagon in 4 hours!!! They delivered boxes before exchange. giving us time to box our stuff. What a day to move the heavens were open most of the day. Tropical storms. The removal guys worked efficiently and professionally throughout the day and always in good humour. They went the extra mile for us and we so appreciate their efforts that day. Two vans loaded everything boxed that could be and all the furniture, garden stuff (loads of that) and huge amount from the shed. I cannot thank everyone enough at Advanced Removals for their amazing support through what was unfortunately and unusually difficult moving day. Geoff was professional and friendly throughout the quotation stage, and even came round again close to the move day to confirm we had packed everything correctly. Roy & Neil on the day were also amazing under very difficult circumstances. We arrived at the new property at 11am however due to various delays, we didn't complete until about 4:55 (the guys were due to leave at 5!). Despite all this they were patient, remained friendly & professional, and didn't complain in any way about the delay. After we finally got the keys they were quite happy to spend the time moving all of our stuff into the correct rooms, even going so far as to plumb our washing machine. Also a big shout out to the guys working telephones in the office, who were extremely polite and helpful answering queries we had. My husband and I would like to thank you and your team for a very smooth and efficient removal service the week before last. Paul and John, who were responsible for packing and moving our goods, and Star who joined them on the actual moving day, did an excellent job: they were considerate and courteous, incredibly efficient in wrapping and packing individual items, and were totally consistent in the way they fastened and taped the boxes, which made our task of opening the boxes afterwards much easier. Because each box was carefully marked with its contents and room allocation, it was reasonably straightforward for us to find everything and the men were helpful in consulting us about our preferences in the precise location of heavier furniture. The empty boxes have all now been collected, so we are well on our way to settling into our new home. You were very accommodating in working around the considerable delay in our move and in the change of location, and our daughter was delighted to have our piano installed safely in her house! Better advanced planning from head office listening to customer specifications could have avoided this. Head office could have communicated with us better too to save us worrying things hadn't been organised or paid for, when they had. Otherwise, Advanced were happy to deal with the council to organise parking permits and generally provided a good service.

My husband and I wanted a smooth house move, only having a 2 bed semi did not mean it would be simple, over the years we have collected alot of garden ornaments and pots. So we were looking for someone who would move everything in one day. The estimator was very good and the price was what we would say as fair. Unfortunately it did not run as smoothly as the persons buying our house pulled out n the day of exchange. Dealing with Justin in the Gloucester office was easy and helpful. When we finally resolved the problems I spoke with Justin again and he pulled out all the stops to make our move happen on the day we needed. On the day of moving we had four chaps Paul K, Neil, Ryan and Jamie F, they were all polite and very helpful. They made the moving out process non stressful. They had their work cut out for them, but not once was there a moan or groan. Our garden ornaments and plants were heavy but again no problems. They certainly gave their all and we were in our new home. If you want to have a stress free move then we know they would be our first call and will recommend them to friends and family. It has been nearly 3 weeks since our move and we have unpacked the majority of our belongings and there has not been any damage although my husband moaned about my overwrapping and boxing up!!!!! We opted for the packing service, which included dismantling and removing fixtures from walls. The packing team (Tristram, Adam and Liam) were fantastic. The next day, the boys were joined by Simon who was equally great and especially patient with the tricky removal of my husband's TV from the wall. Moving in went just as smoothly. We moved with Advanced in May 2017 and I can honestly say the two guys doing our move made a very difficult situation a smooth and almost enjoyable experience! We had a great rapport with them whilst they maintained a professional and efficient service. They assessed the house layout and positioned the vans front and back and loaded the whole house up in no time with no damage to belongings or the house. The situation at the new house was difficult with the previous owners not able to leave until late in the afternoon. The guys co-ordinated moving our belongings in around them moving out and even advised the other removal company on 'best practice'. Excellent. Ryan and Paul were timely, friendly, and professional. They arrived at 8:30am and worked like trojans to unpack 6 containers. They were very experienced and methodical - taking care to make sure boxes were stacked in a stable way, and making sure not to rest boxes against the walls to protect the paint/wallpaper. At one point they very thoughtfully flagged that one piece of furniture was quite fragile, and that we shouldn't try to move it without them. Finally they took a lot of the empty boxes with them, and in a flash they were gone. Like a lot of us we try to manage selling and buying another house all in one go, I promised my buyers a move on a certain date and come hell or high water I Would do it, nothing seemed simpler as buying and selling were cash transactions however the house I was purchasing was not ready (a major clearance was required) I was forced to place my furniture in the Advanced Removals storage facility, I got a requote for the storage requirements (they were very fair and professional) and one week later delivered my furniture....I know of no other company that could have done this. This company was a great disappointment. Their staff were generally grumpy and rather uncommunicative and began by deciding to charge an extra £200 on the spot as they had mistakenly decided that the garage contents (car spares etc) belonged to my ex wife! They added to an already stressful day and casually offloaded boxes irrespective of markings such as fragile or top load only. They were in marked contrast to my ex's movers, who were good humoured throughout. I would certainly not use them again and only tipped because I just wanted them gone.

I can't say enough about the whole team from within the office to the 'lads' on the day. The day itself was really stressful with a very late entry to the new house at 5pm on a winters day. They were so supportive and went the extra mile in making sure all was well when we finally got in. Roy the Head Man suffered a really nasty cut but carried on regardless refusing to go to hospital until the job was done. Then to pass abit of the awful waiting time the lads found an external power supply and put up the Christmas lights on the tree outside. Brilliant!! Superstars all of them.
