Safestore were very efficient and really helpful. Was very easy to organise and move our furniture into the unit. From getting a good price from the call centre to really helpful staff at the Leeds depot it has been an excellent experience, it’s our 1st time hiring a unit and I think it’s something we will now use on and off all the time. Can definitely recommend!

Whilst the place was tidy, clean, and the staff VERY helpful. The fact that the price for my unit had increased by 50% was the main reason for no longer using the service. I would also note that the number of people entering the facility and failing to sign in was highly worrying.

Barbara and co were incredibly accomodating when I had to move my moving dates forward a few times. When I did finally get my stuff in to storage, it went swimmingly and I'm very pleased with the great service I got.

I used Safestore for around 5 months to house my belongings while in-between homes. Ben was extremely helpful when opening my account and helping decide which size unit was best for my items. Check out was also fast and unproblematic. Only shortfall was trying to park, and large vans just parking wherever they like even though there are dedicated spaces, could also do with a few more trollies. Overall happy with the service and would use again if required

Excellent storage facility...whether you are moving home or a student in Leeds or relocating as a working professional, Safestore York Road is your best option by miles. Their rates are excellent without any secret hidden charges others companies do. Their staff is simply fantastic. Highly professional, attentive, honest and also nice, chatty easy going people. They will do their best to assist you and meet your needs and even to provide you with basic information if you are new to Leeds. Initially as a student and later as a working professional I have been with Safestore (Bristol, Manchester, London and Leeds) for years and I am glad they have managed to maintain an excellent and enviable level of professionalism through the years regardless of the location or the even the latest special circumstances the pandemic has caused. Just called at Safestore on York Road for the second time. Unbelievably excellent service. Their first question was would I like tea or coffee. The efficient way in which Carole Rogers and her female colleague dealt with my enquiry about storage and my purchase of packaging materials would put many companies to shame. This good feeling was continued by the young man who carried my purchases to my car. The facility is clean and well organised. Overall a fantastic service and when I am ready to use such a service, this is the one I will be using.

Friendly staff. Well organised. Variable rates depending on demand for storage spaces. More than one entrance to go in. Staircase to each floor has a different position so not easy to navigate. Could do with more trolleys and more parking spaces.

Just like in the American show storage hunters, you to can spend £££ to store your stuff then loss it all when you can't keep up with the payments. Yaaaaaa This used to be a large printers with dodgey work practices, but due to PC's and Mac's and like everything else being cheaper to do abroad print companies are mostly gone 😧
