Brilliant team, great job. Ophir arranged everything with me over the phone, promptly calling back when he couldn't answer my call. Next, on moving day, Tom and Adrian took care of our move. Packing everything into their van expertly and unloading it in the same way. Our sofa would not fit in the front door but they got it in through the back garden door, damaging nothing. Oh, and they were done even sooner than estimated, saving me money on a service that is already well priced. Highly recommended.

Ophir helped us with a charity bike ride recently moving bikes first from Wetherby to Morecambe and then from Wetherby to Bridlington. The service was extremely professional with great care being taken to make sure each bike was safely packaged and arrived undamaged and in tip top condition. Ophir helped me move flats (over 20 boxes and a couple other items) from London to York in late September, and was so arranging about the date at short notice (just about a week). Very good prices too - and I had gotten quotes from nearly a dozen companies before getting in touch with him. He was genuinely lovely, super efficient and professional, which made a generally stressful day much less so! Highly recommend! Nothing to do with the poor experiences I've had with the third party people working for AnyVan, and not that much more expensive considering the much higher quality of service.

Ophir and Wes really made a stressful day much calmer. Even when we had to make a detour to collect the keys from another location, Ophir was understanding and accommodating. Our house move was extremely last-minute and even when all my worldly goods were loaded onto the van, and we still hadn't completed the sale and purchase, Ophir was very relaxed and never made us feel pressured! thankfully all went well with the exchange on the day but amidst all the stress it was great to have such a professional and seamless removals company helping us. Everything was done quickly and in a super-organised fashion, with our things being looked after with blankets etc. Ophir even helped us with a plumbing problem at the new house and charged around half of some of the quotes we'd received from large companies in Leeds. Very highly recommended!

I couldn't ask for a more professional service. Ophir kept me up to speed on both legs of the journey to collect my new sofas. They were brought inside with the utmost care and attention and put in place just where I wanted them. Brilliant from start to finish. Rang at very short notice and Ophir was very accommodating. Moved from a 2nd story flat to a terraced house with challenging access. The whole move was completed in less than 2 hours, and they actually made it really good fun. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service provided. I did the usual internet searches and left emails/online requests/phone calls with a dozen similar companies and none could meet the requirements we were after. The requirements were nothing special but once I contacted Ophir and left a voicemail I got a call back more or less straight away and he pencilled us in for the move. During that time we had a couple of text back and forth confirming the price and time and on the day they arrived just before we agreed. The house move went smoothly and both guys were polite and professional during that time. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others for similar work.

The Yorkshire Van Man helped us move house recently. From initial contact where we discussed our requirements, to actually moving in to our new place, everything went very smoothly and professionally. We opted for the 2-man service and they somehow managed to fit our whole 2-bedroom house into their van! They turned up at the agreed time, and were very friendly and happy to chat. Everything came out of the van in the same condition it went in, they even had special padded covers for pictures/mirrors and sofas. We packed things in strong boxes which were fully sealed and we tried to put everything in one room before they arrived to ease the loading process. Unloading the van was very quick and efficient, and they asked in which rooms we wanted everything. I would highly recommend them if you need anything transporting from A to B.

He then arranged for the collection, the palleting, the shipping, and the delivery of all my stuff from Leeds to Germany, which all went without a hitch. When I contacted the Ophir he was very knowledgeable on the phone and then came around to our property to get a better idea of what we required moving which impressed me.Come the moving day he and his colleague worked tirelessly with the help of Yorkshire tea and Tunnocks caramel biscuits to empty our flat twice then re stow our stuff into our new house across town, which was no easy task but his skill and patience saw him complete our move almost painlessly bar my back..lol. Recently used Yorkshire Van Man to move me a fitted kitchen including two pieces of extremely heavy highly polished granite worktops. The move was done very efficiently with maximum care given to all the units and extra special care given to the granite via packing/padding and transporting via strapping to framework on inside of van and making sure it was transported standing on its edge to eliviate stress to weak points on granite. Was very careful with all of my items, and made sure that all of my delicate items were wrapped and stored safely in his van. Nothing was broken when he arrived in Taunton. Really good service. I had booked a man and van via “quickmanandvan.co.uk” who seemed reputable, in the morning I had an email saying he was having technical difficulties which I reckon was just a polite way of saying he didn’t want to do it. Someone else was booked for me from “quickmanandvan.co.uk” and when it came time to move they didn’t even show up, when I called asking where they were they basically told me they’d looked at the job, decided I had too much stuff and didn’t want to do it, this would be fine had he told me but he didn’t even let me know. No email, no text, no phone call so I was left in the lurch with limited time to move my things. When I called “quickmanandvan.co.uk” to complain they didn’t sound very surprised or interested and said they would ring around for another van in the area and get back to me in 10 minutes, 40 minutes later I eventually called them because they hadn’t bothered and they said no one was available and so I asked for a refund. Never using them again, what a joke and a massive waste of my time. Because of them I ended up finishing moving at 00:30 and I didn’t eat all day. After ringing around I finally found yorkshire van man who were great, the owners driver wasn’t available last minute so the company owner came and helped me himself, he even came a few hours earlier than he thought he would be able too and I’m pretty sure he gave up part of his evening with his partner which was kind of him. It was quick and friendly, nice guy.
