International Student Friendly, Accommodating and Great Service If you are an international student, Storage Giant is the storage place to choose! The location is great (near city centre), student-friendly, accommodating, reliable, great service and reasonable prices. Johnny and Trevor were great to work with. They were both extremely accommodating and helpful. Being an international student, I had to leave my items at the storage unit for an entire year, due to Covid-19. They were very helpful when I was planning on shipping my items back to Canada. As this all had to be done remotely, they were quick to answer my emails when asking about the dimensions/weight of the boxes. This made the shipping process easier and made my overall experience at the storage unit great! I highly recommend Storage Giant.

This storage facility in the centre of Leicester is convenient and easy to use The room you rent changes price for the size you need . A short term contract can be entered into so you know an end date. Overall the lifts and the trolleys on hand really make it easy to use here.

If there's was a chance of rating Space Place Leicester higher than 5 stars I would be the first one to do it! Firstly, after a long research of what is the best storage house in the Leicester area it's clear that Space Place was the best one in terms of cost. So I decided to visit the storage to have a quick view of the different size rooms that they had available and their support from the moment that I've send the first email was remarkable! Best price, amazing customer service it was really a no-brainer! I would like to give a speacial thanks to Johny from Space Place as I hired a van and two men service and unfortunetely due to traffic issues the Van only arrived at my house at 17:20 (keep in mind that the storage closes at 6!) I imeaditely rang Johny and explained the situation, he was so toughtful and he straight way assured me that he will wait for me as I had a flight the next day therefore I pretty much had no other options! We end up only leaving the place around 19:15 so Johny stayed an additional hour of what he is suposed and the entire time you could see him with a smile on his face, I have to say that this level of customer service is rare and really needs to be appreciated. In sum, if you are unsure of which place to chose to store your goods in the Leicester area, just chose Space Place, cheapest one and the one with the best customer service, pretty simple really!

Used their student storage and they were very friendly and helpful. Had a lot of boxes and they helped me take them all upstairs. When taking my things out, I got late as they were closing at 6pm. Myself and a group of friends used The Space Place to store our stuff that we brought to university over the summer while we were away. We had a good variety of locker sizes to choose from and the staff on the day were very helpful in letting us see the different sized lockers so we could judge which would be best for the four of us. They worked out as the best value for money compared to any other storage site in Leicester because of the great "4 weeks free" deal that they had on at the time. When checking out, Trevor (who was there when I checked in) and Milly were really friendly and quick to sort out our paperwork. Will definitely be using them next summer and would recommend to anyone.

Where to start? Garage being knocked down, so needed a place to store things until this being done and shed built. after looking around and pricing up many places this came out the best, with a buy 4 weeks, get 4 weeks free deal. After getting a quote on line, someone contacted me and the preliminaries where all done on the phone. On the day we turned up and found something you do not find much nowadays - an extremely helpful, pleasant, funny organised, efficient, courteous, competent … gentleman called Johnny. An absolute pleasure to deal with. He explained everything clearly - how to access the unit, times, costs after initial 8 weeks, cancellation, etc. the unit itself (50sqft) was clean and did the job we wanted it for. Loved the old lifts, though my daughter refused to go in them :) Come time to move everything out, and we made use of the free van rental they offer (once per unit rental). The van itself was rather long in the tooth, but did the job amiably, and at just the cost of fuel is an absolute bargain. The close-down of the unit was once again handled with the utmost competence by Johnny. Once again, an absolute pleasure to work with. If you need a storage unit, I can whole-heartedly recommend this place for its easy location, good prices, great service and employees who just get on with the job, and make your life easy!

I spoke to Milly on the phone who gave me a reasonable quote and met her again when I came by to see the unit and set up the contract. I have had my belongings in this storage for over a year. The staff are really helpful and kind and I’ve really appreciated their effective communication and overall customer service. Thank you all, especially Johnny, Trevor and the new girl (I’m so sorry I forgot your name) you’ve been great and if I needed storage in the future I would definitely utilise your service. My belongings remained in tact, there were no smell or traces of any damp. I retrieved my belongings in the state I had stored them. My deposit was also processed promptly. Highly recommended! P.s they also sell lots of items required for a move I.e bubble wrap, boxes, tape etc
