I can't thank the whole team at It's In Transit enough for all of their hard work in our recent long-distance move from Lincoln to Cornwall. Knowing this was a big move I checked out many different companies but Simon and his team at It's in Transit were by far the most professional combined with a really great price for such a big move. Moving can be extremely stressful and I was very anxious and sleep deprived on the day but the team instantly made me feel calm and reassured as they were so friendly and positive. Everything went fantastically smoothly, the van was loaded and unloaded so efficiently and even finished earlier than expected - in fact to date this has been by far the easiest part of the move! Thanks so much for getting us to our dream home guys! I would really highly recommend It's In Transit to absolutely anyone and my son thought you were so cool too!

We were let down by another removal company and started to panic as we needed to move quickly from Kent to Lincolnshire. From the first moment to finally sitting back having moved in successfully, Alex and his team were there all the time. No decision, question or query was a problem. They worked continuously, even staying in their cabs overnight before leaving the following morning. The packing service we had was thorough and thoughtfully undertaken. We had no breakages. Even our very large collection of plants were not damaged in any way. We would highly recommend Alex and his team to anyone. Their pricing was very good, they stepped up to the challenge of a short deadline and never disappointed at any point over the 2 days of moving. If you're looking for a professional removal company who covers the whole of the UK then please do not think twice about calling or booking Its In Transit. We had several quotes from large companies to smaller companies, and Alex's quote came somewhere in the middle. If you're thinking that it's better going with one of the large well-known national companies please change your mind. You will not be disappointed. You will not be let down. We contacted Alex near to moving day as the removal company we were going to use let us down. Alex gave us a quote over the phone and booked us in for the date of completion which was changed at the last minuet due to the solicitor, but thankfully Alex was available so our move went ahead. From start to finish Alex and his team were very friendly, polite, and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them and they had all our furniture in the van in no time. On arrival at our new house everything was put were in should be and Alex had even arranged our daughters bedroom. We have no hesitation in recommending Alex and his team 100%. It’s In Transit put my house contents in storage and returned them 16 months later. The guys were friendly, helpful and professional. Floor protectors were put down. On return, they asked us where all items should go. There was minor damage to one item. The manager and I sorted this to my satisfaction. Overall, two very good experiences. This is by far one of the best removal companies in Lincoln. Helpful, professional and friendly. The lads worked like troopers and did everything we asked. We were let down by one of the big companies in Lincoln who I have used several times but won't be using again. Alex and his team were amazing. They provided boxes and extra ones when we needed a few more. Everything was handled carefully and arrived in perfect condition. We highly recommend this company. Their fees were more favourable than any other company. When we were let down Alex came round the same day we called him and gave us a quote the same day and said it was ok we hadn't exchanged contracts, he would still pencil us in the diary and all we had to do was let him know when it happened. He accepted full payment on the day. We cannot thank the team enough. We highly recommend this firm and would use them again any day of the week. Absolute stars all of them. If you are looking for a reasonable price, a team you can hang your hat on and a responsible team that will work their socks off then look no further. Alex was a fantastic leader from start to finish, managing his thoughtful friendly crew to ensure a timely (very quick) house clearance and then delivery to our new home. They were by our side for the whole day and worth every penny. Alex took time to view a picture glass (only victim of the move) and was apologetic. We dismissed any offer he may have made realising that any massive move such as this could have a casualty and this was far less than anticipated. They had all the equipment such as mattress bags and tv covers and wouldn’t leave until we were completely satisfied. Can’t recommend highly enough, they were the Carlsberg of removals for us!

Moved today using these guys. Having spoken to a good amount of companies getting quotes we opted for these because they were good value for the service offered. The whole team were fantastic. It was an extremely frustrating and stressful time. Before the move Simon dropped of loads of boxes even tough we did not have a firm moving date. 3 working days before our completion date exchange of contracts were agreed. On the day Alex, dressed as Father Christmas, and yes, with a beard, Max and Kev turned up and put our minds at rest. They worked incredibly hard to load up before the cut off time of 1300. There was a 3 hour delay in getting the keys to our new place and the team eventually waved goodbye at 1730 in the freezing cold and fog. What a crew. These lads moved us locally on 30 September 21. After submitting the initial enquiry, Simon contacted us immediately and Alex popped round with Matt to 'measure up'. Got the quote the same day, which was very reasonable given we are a family of four. The comms throughout the entire process were excellent, with Simon handling the admin side of things, and Alex and his team turned up promptly on the day of the move. We were literally all packed within 3 hours and the drop off was also seamless; they literally couldn't have made it any easier. Contacted Alex the next week to pick up the boxes and he gave me a time and date and text me to tell me he was on his way. In a nutshell, these guys made what is a stressful experience relatively painless and I'd recommend them to anyone in the Lincoln area thinking of hiring a removals company. If I ever move again, then they'd be the first people we call. I can't recommend them highly enough!!!

Having moved last October I wasn’t looking forward to doing so again but as soon as I got in touch with Its In Transit the whole approach and attitude to providing a good service was evident - a far cry from what I had experienced before. From the first discussion, Simon was more than helpful and my many emails re information/dates/changes were all answered swiftly and with a positive solution to any issues that had cropped up from my end of the move. Wardrobe boxes and packing boxes were provided in advance so we could empty wardrobes and drawers which Its In Transit then brought across to our new home for reinstallation ahead of the main move. On the packing day, Alex and Callum were fast and efficient and unstinting in the use of protective packaging - we felt they cared for our ‘stuff’ and there was a lot of it. On moving day, Alex, Johnny,Matt and Callum swung into action and their team work was amazing as one box after another was loaded, my ‘treasures’ were wrapped and furniture/electrics unplugged, packed and loaded. I can't remember having that much energy even in my hey day! Once at the new house, they again worked their magic and nothing was too much trouble as everything was reconnected in place or put in the places I had planned for. Even my wardrobe boxes were unpacked for me. Even moving sofas around a couple of times (I couldn’t decide where I wanted them to go) was met with good humour and patience. This is our last move to our retirement home and I can truly say the Its In Transit crew (from first contact to final goodbye) was the most outstanding and professional group of removers we have ever had; which is quite something considering how often we have moved over the years. THANKS, GUYS!!

Recently I was moving back to Ireland temporarily, and needed to put most of my stuff in storage. It was short notice and I had trouble finding a mover but I was so lucky to have landed on Its In Transit. They were early, they were quick and they took such good care of all my items. While they carrying a mattress down a very narrow flight of stairs, my sister who they couldn't have known was there overhead them talking about making sure it didn't touch the ground to insure it was kept clean. It was only by chance that my sister was at the top of the stairwell so this wasn't something for show, they just took fantastic car of everything. Even after everything I'd said I needed moved when I booked them was on the truck, they saw all the other stuff I had yet to fully pack and offered to load anything else I needed. Once at the storage unit, they flew through the work, once again taking tremendous care. Once everything was wrapped up, it was all done so well and so quickly, I honestly felt like I was undercharged. In short: fantastic service, carried out quickly, at a great rate. Couldn't fault them and I'll without a doubt be calling them when I need to take my stuff back out of storage.

They used carpet protector to ensure new build carpet wasn't ruined and they had all the equipment to move my very heavy piano down some stairs of death and into my new humble abode. Came highly recommended. The team that moved me were excellent. Constantly checking what was and wasn't to be moved as only half the house was going. Did one room at a time. Handled everything as if it belonged to themselves, (I have seem some very bad removal companies). Advanced phone call to let me know when they would arrive, it was nice, they were 30 minutes earlier than booked. Fantastic Lincoln based removals company. We had an issue with our contracts not exchanging on the day due to a hold up of the funds, contacted these guys and they were happy to arrange things for us and work around our needs. Friendly staff. Stored, picked up and delivered my stuff (student storage) without a hitch. Highly recommend. No complaints from driver when he had to wait longer than intended, courteous and professional. Also arranged everything simply on email/phone with no problems, compared to other storage companies in Lincoln which require you to tour the premises to get a quote. Perfect for students, delivery and pick up is relatively expensive but overall storage costs are cheap so it evens out.

Being disabled, I asked them to not only pack and unpack, but to unpack my things into cupboards and wardrobes so that everything was ready for me when I got there and I wouldn't have to do anything. Moving house is not a sport for the faint-hearted. It is stressful at the very least and can seriously damage you sense of humour. So it's good to be able to report that Simon and his team were probably the best removal firm we’ve used – that’s in six house moves in forty-two years. From the time Simon came to assess the amount to be shifted from our house in Lincoln to the final box was offloaded to our new home in Scarborough, the whole job was done professionally and with care. Simon took care to check everything beforehand, including looking on Street View to make sure there was adequate access for his van. His team were good-humoured and treated our property with respect. even the piano arrived unscathed and still in tune. And at the price we were charged the whole deal was remarkably good value – a lot better than some of the competition quoted. Although I wouldn’t want to go through any more house moves, I would be happy to recommend It’s In Transit as a thoroughly competent and professional organisation with a very high standard of service.
