The communication with the admin (Joshua) for Best Rate Removals was very pleasant and polite. One error in the contract but this was quickly amended when I pointed it out. The movers were quite and efficient, though they took a long time to move between places and they arrived earlier than agreed upon, which meant I was rushing in the morning. The reason I drop them down a star is because I was not happy that they used a massive moving truck. I provided photos of what I had in my small storage locker and explained I had previously moved with a van, as I had no furniture except a mattress. Therefore I was a bit upset to have the big moving truck arrive. This meant slower travel times (e.g. took about 30min extra to arrive at the final destination) and it is less environmentally friendly to use such a large vehicle. I feel like I could have therefore gotten a better rate but I was in a rush to get this sorted and they had been recommended by a friend. Regardless, I did like their customer service and the movers wer efficient when they were moving the items. I therefore give the company 4 stars. Thank you.

Had to write a full review for this. We hired Best Rate removals for our move on a very short notice. They were able to provide us with a bank holiday slot only 4 days beforehand at an incredibly competitive rate. The workers helping us, Hassan and Nicolas did an absolutely amazing job at packing wrapping and transporting all the items in record time and we were all done by lunch time. 5/5 I will definitely be recommending Best Rate to my friends and use it in the future

Getting a quote and booking my house move was quick and easy. The staff I dealt with were very helpful and answered any and all questions quickly and clearly. This is by far the best moving company I have ever used. The quote was competitive and the people in the head office professional. The movers themselves were prompt and knew how to handle difficult bits like Ikea furniture dis/re-assembly, heavy items, and packing delicate stuff like plates and glass. They were understanding when at the eleventh hour, I changed my mind about where a couple of items would go in the house. I would not hesitate to recommend them wholeheartedly. Booked on very short notice. Stan arrived with his team for my job that they estimated could take 3-5hrs (hourly rateable). The guys took so much care and got everything out, stacked and delivered at the other end with no damages. They even tossed my sofa over the balcony without any hiccups (I had an extra couple of helpers to catch it at the bottom of course)! Bang on 3hrs, no extras to pay... very happy indeed with their fast and efficient service... Highly recommended.

I was very apprehensive booking a removals company and scoured high and low for one that did not have as many bad reviews, and after many quotes and video estimations with companies I settled with Best Rate Removals. I was extremely apprehensive as I had never used a moving company before, but I am SO glad I went with them. From the start of the call with TJ to when the two removal men came, it was absolutely faultless. The two guys that came (forgive me - I can't remember the names), were extremely hardworking throughout the entire time, highly professional and did everything wonderfully. No furniture was damaged and they put together my wardrobe amazingly. I was so worried about damage, either to our items or the home we were moving into/leaving, but it was amazing throughout and there was no damage. I could not recommend them enough and will definitely use them again if we ever have to move (hope not)!

These guys are really amazing! They’ve helped me a number of times; and dealt with all the jobs without complaint or fuss. They work really hard and efficiently (e.g. large flights of stairs and heavy items). Before using Best Rates I had used a number of different storage and removal companies in London. Every occasion of using these other companies had problems such as breakages, damage or missing items: these things have never happened with Best Rates. They treat you and your things with respect! I was impressed by the way they wrapped and handled furniture, such as the bed (another removal company wrecked the last divan bed I put in storage). They have great storage rates compared to others I’ve used and go above and beyond to accommodate their customers. Last time they managed a Friday evening emergency removal on storage, on barely any notice! They also kept me laughing through all the stresses of events! Excellent experience from start to end! A removal surveyor came to my flat to see the job and discuss it in detail, so they could give me an accurate, clearly broken down quote. The removal team turned up at exactly the time agreed and worked incredibly hard throughout the day. They disassembled the furniture as agreed, finished up packing the last things that I hadn't had a chance to pack (I took out the optional packing service for the last bits and pieces - best decision ever!) and moved everything into storage. They were clearly very experienced and I felt I could have complete confidence in how they were handling my belongings. Everything was done by the time they estimated, which was very impressive. The final bill exactly matched the quote and there were no hidden surprises. The overall cost was very reasonable. Best Rate were a mixed bag. The site visit was great, JP on the phone was great, the packers/movers were great but communications got messy. Id use them again but make sure what they say they are going to do is confirmed when the movers turn up. I was expecting some flat packed furniture to be put together and I was under the understanding that I paid for that, the movers had no idea and so a few rounds of confused talks were held. Overall they got me moved quickly and pretty efficiently but renegotiating was a nightmare with the militant manager.

The rating is an average of 5 for the crew, they worked hard, they’ve been super careful and very professional. 1 for the management/customer service. Despite my clear indications coming from previous move of the same type of house the job was severely underestimated in term of time needed, packing material needed and movers needed. I received a quote that at the end of the job more than doubled with cost attributed to extra packaging material and other ancillaries that have been determined just from them with no proof. Also, they denied to know some key information about my insurance which stopped the work for over a hour and I was charged for that hour anyway. I will not use them again I am afraid despite the great work put it in by the crew.

I can't express how pleased I am with Best Rate removals. Having never used a professional moving company before, I wasn't sure what to expect. I dealt with Artur in the office primarily through email who was quick to respond to my quote, answer all of questions and worries. I would recommend Best Rate Removals as I recently had a small local move and I got very good communication from the outset, with a clear understanding of my need and I was quoted a very competitive rate from the outset. A premium service for a bargain price. I used Best Rate Removals for storage as well as moving. I have been thoroughly impressed at every stage of the process. Best Rate were the only firm to call me back on the Sunday of a bank holiday weekend with a quote. They picked up all of my belongings on a Saturday and delivered on a Sunday. Really lovely guys. Worked so hard all day and were so careful with my stuff. Only issue is a few scuff marks on the walls but they have heard me and will blanket up items if they are too wide for a space in future. Overall an efficient experience, but had some trouble at the start with suitable parking. Despite making it clear I would be willing to pay any fines incurred the staff were unwilling to park close to my flat, and put me on the phone to their manager, as they seemed unwilling to discuss it with me. Once we got going they were efficient and careful, and I cannot fault the move itself. I think it would benefit future customers if the parking policy could be make clearer to staff and customers - in most cases the parking situation is beyond the customer's control. Overall they were fast and reasonable value, but the communication from the staff was inadequate.

They helped out when the keys to the new door jammed and even found a way to keep unloading (up and over the back hatchet) when some plonker decided to park immediately behind our van, blocking access and unloading!
