Got a very reduced rate by speaking to a lovely advisor on the phone which was too good to refuse. I was shopping about due to needed storage for quite a while and being a recently graduated student. I was also helped by George at the reception who was extremely personable, friendly and great at his job. I received exceptional service for the short time that I used this facility. Honestly, I couldn't fault the reception I received (especially as someone who had never used self-storage before). All the staff were so kind and the units themselves are very reasonable. I didn't experience any difficulties with either moving into or our of my unit. Should I need such a service again I wouldn't hesitate to choose Big Yellow.

My experience with Big Yellow Self Storage in New Cross was really good. The day I was moving all my stuff in, George called me in the morning to remind all the things I would need (ID, credit card, etc) which was really helpful. When I got there, Alan explained me how the self storage works, showed me the room where I would have all my stuff and, when I was happy with all of it, proceeded to do the payment. At all time he was really nice and helpful. At the end of the day every self storage is kinda the same, but having such a nice staff makes it easier!

Great customer service, both Lauren and Val were super nice, helpful and supportive. The storage itself is very big and has many options to pick from depending on your needs, and if you have any questions either Lauren or Val would happily help you. The spaces are clean and easy to move around, if you need boxes or anything else, the reception is full of moving goodies to buy. I'm very happy to have found this safe place, and Lauren and Val should get a raise, I work in Customer Service and my standards are high and the exceeded my expectations, thumbs up!

A great experience at this store yesterday. The colleagues we met were polite and helpful and sorted us out with the right storage solution for our daughter very easily and quickly. The storage facility was bright and clean with plenty of large trolleys available to use. The system with using out of hours access was well explained. Val also showed the documents to me to read check and sign and showed me the storage room and how to enter and exit when I needed. Well run storage facility with helpful staff. A bit expensive, but fine for a short term storage. As you'd expect your stored belongings are well looked after in a dry safe place. Staff went out of their way to help us find our locker and code when we had forgotten it. Nice guys.

I have had my house contents (250sqft) in storage with the New Cross branch of Big Yellow since Nov 2016. It has been a fantastic experience from start to finish. Staff are exceptionally well trained and super helpful. They advised me on my needs and upgraded me to a larger room which was directly opposite the lift, for virtually the same price. When I needed to get a 2nd room, adding that was effortless. The facilities on site are great and with all the security measures they have, I felt my valuable possessions were in very safe hands. I accidentally set the alarms off twice so can vouch for those and the rapid response of the staff! No, it wasn't cheap but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Worth every penny. Well done Big Yellow New Cross.
