J A Coles has done an excellent job with our move - they have been very professional and helpful through the whole moving process: from dealing with the customs and all the paperwork, to packing and transporting everything, and finally reassembling the furniture back at our final destination. Coles packed & moved us within Haringey last month and the guys were great. We had a long chain involved in the move, which meant the removal date chopped and changed several times, but they were very accommodating. They came back a few weeks later to take away the empty boxes too! Highly recommended.

Fantastic work, fast and respectful of my wordly goods that came from West Coast USA Washington State (Pacific North West). Called the day before with details and what time the container would arrive at my storage in Exeter....on time as projected. They worked well as a team and handled my precious goods like they owned them.( All 504 boxes and pieces) Very refreshing to see.. Daniela B was the office lady and was just brilliant and my constant emails and calls must been exhausting for her.... they became so constant that most doubtabley that it was expected that i would greet her most mornings. Coles were great from the start. We ended up having to arrange our move at very short notice following a particularly stressful few days. Both Renata and Daniela were extremely calm, reassuring and helpful. We called them on the Friday and packers were in the house the next day. They kept us up to date with when they would be coming to pack and collect items,which went into storage for a couple of weeks. All the packers and movers were very friendly, courteous and careful with both our belongings and our new property. I would highly recommend Coles.

We had a slightly complicated move with possession coming from two sites, and the packing and delivery work spread over three days. Coles did a great job of coordinating all this, and within twenty minutes of completing the sale on our new house their first truck arrived. Packing, loading and unloading was all really efficient, and the crews were very nice, flexible and helpful. It was really impressive. We can't speak too highly of this firm.

A very trustworthy removal company with excellent customer service. From the moment I spoke to Renata to the delivery of my goods in Cologne, everything went smoothly. The communication was good upon delivery too. Even though I was not at the delivery address, the drivers managed to get hold of someone to let them in and drop off the boxes. I can recommend J.A. I moved from London to Norfolk and this was the first time I'd used a removal contractor. I got three quotes and J A Coles representative was the only surveyor who didn't rush through as if he had more important things to do. I selected them principally for that and his thoroughness as all three quotes were similar. They delivered more than enough boxes, were always courteous on the phone and the removal men were awesome and made me feel like my possessions were in safe hands and nothing I could ask was too much. Moving house is stressful? Not with J A Coles by your side. Thank you to one and all members of staff who dealt with my move.

I moved about 3 cubic meters from London to New York of personal items (no furniture). Daniela was my point of contact and she was fantastic - she coordinated the whole move, from the removalists who came in and packed everything quickly and safely to delivery of the safely arrived boxes to the relevant address in New York. J A Coles were also transparent with their pricing, setting out up front under what circumstances I may be required to pay above my initial cost and quoted insurance premiums inclusive of insurance premium tax (which not all others do!). Overall, I would say excellent price (J A Coles was one of the most competitive quotes I received) and quality of service.

This company made my move back up to Leeds a lot less stressful and very straightforward. They were very competitive for a professional removal service. They ensured that the move from London on the day was swift and hassle-free. I asked to go up to Leeds in the lorry - their driver was very friendly. I am not the type of person to sing the praises but in my experience this company was fantastic. If I ever had to move back to London, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Thank you very much for the incredibly professional service. The collection was super quick even though we had 50-60 very large boxes (that you provided as part of the service). The 2 guys loaded and unloaded all of then in 3-4 hours and very kindly put the boxes in the rooms as per the labels in each box). Their attitude throughout the job was very good - nothing was a problem! Secondly, I called 2 days ago to arrange a collection and your guys came today and collected all the empty boxes. After a mis-communicated first delivery, J A Coles gave me a decent deal on my second shipment, which was fast and painless. The staff were great on both ends - nice blokes with good humour picked (and boxed properly) at the departure end and I had the same guys each time delivering my stuff to me in Sweden, so it was so nice to see familiar faces making it feel like a close knit group. As long as you nudge them to keep you up to speed with where your things are and when pick-ups and deliveries are likely to happen, they do a great job and the second time along improved with customer service. I would defo consider using them again!

Average experience. Collection personnel very professional and helpful. The initial price quoted was competitive.. Given conflicting information from the shipping representative and manager about arrival time of goods. Assured one delivery date when the collection date was confirmed and then after the final payment told a different date a whole month later than expected. The company used on the other side weren't great at communicating and I had to chase a lot. Goods arrived in decent condition.

The best removal service, I have been using them over last 12 years in UK and then our move to France and even moving in France. My friends told me, surely there is a removal service in France and I said of course there is but I trust Coles packing and delivery, their time keeping and the stuff are very friendly. Any complication and they have an answer for it!

A strange experience with JA Coles. Sometimes they are completely on top of the process and provide clear explanation of what is required, but then at other times it was very difficult to understand where we were at i.e. to nail down a firm delivery date and time. They were in fact very flexible to accommodate everything I required, but it felt like it was super urgent when they required something to be sent back, but slack when I was trying to get information back out of them.
