I recently moved with JamVans and from the initial contact through to the moving day JamVans were excellent in every way. Their quote was competitive and my decision to use them was the customer service I received (thanks Annette and Jason). Fantastic from start to finish. We had a difficult process buying our house, so we really needed a stress free move. Annette was so helpful and replied to my emails very quickly. I chose to go with the full packing service as well as using movers. My moving team were Martin, Matt and Bradley who were superb. Friendly, helpful, professional. JamVans were brilliant in a complex and delicate situation. Only 75% of the house contents were being moved so this entailed care and patience when doing the full pre-move packing, and then to only take the correct items on the days of the move. JV's customer service was absolutely excellent. Every office member was responsive and attentive, and the 3 guys (Nick, Alex & Brad) doing the packing and move were cheerful, helpful and went out of their way to ensure a successful move with minimal stress, including an unexpected late finish. I recently decided to relocate to the EU and JamVans came highly recommended by a friend who had relocated earlier, so from the get go I had high expectations and boy were they met and even surpassed. Everyone is professional, approachable and good fun to work with. They made a stressful situation roll by smoothly, provided all the lists of required paperwork ad promptly provided solutions to any problems - and on my side there where a few hitches which they resolved admirably. Everyone, from the team that came to pick up promptly and on time to the EU team who delivered, where polite, prompt, quick, clean and very good banter. But the undisputed star of the show was my liaison Nikki who ran logistics on the other side of the email, who is - and I say this after 10 years of working as a customer service project manager - one of the most polite, efficient and proactive people I have ever worked with. Big asset to the company - they should give her a raise! Overall an excellent experience, would HIGHLY recommend to anyone requiring relocation services and have in fact given their contact details to a few friends who also decided to leave the UK.

Mathew Miller was incredible and very careful with all my belongings it took the time to get the job done properly. We needed the contents of our flat stored for a month while we sorted out the lease on our new flat, so we used JamVans’ Self Store to your door service. The guys who came to collect were friendly, professional, and managed to get a 1 bed flat’s worth of stuff packed into the van in under an hour. I was able to get in contact with JamVans to schedule delivery pretty easily, and they were patient and accommodating while we dealt with delays with the contract for the new flat. Delivery was equally smooth, and the guys went above and beyond to make sure that we were set up, including helping to assemble some of our furniture. Very impressed! I do have one criticism: to keep an inventory of our things, paper sticky labels were stuck onto every item (box, piece of furniture etc.) that was removed. Putting labels on things to keep track of them is a great idea, and I was happy with the inventory system, but I have spent the last month scraping the remains of the paper labels off all of our furniture. Using plastic or film-backed stickers instead of paper ones would solve this problem, as they’d come off without ripping, and save a lot of hassle. In general: great customer service, good prices, friendly staff, but the inventory system could do with some small changes.

I can't recommend JamVans if you need access to their containerized storage. It is difficult to get access to your pod. When I called them before booking, it was sold to me on the basis that it is very easy and I can get access anytime. Once I booked it, it is the second time that I am experiencing difficulties getting an access. First time round, they told me that my pod is in Hertfordshire when actually their promise is that your pod is going to be in the nearest depot to you, which in my case is Acton. Initially they were denying the fact that it should have been stored in Acton but then accepted it. However, it took a few weeks before I could get access to the pod. This time round I called them to ask for an access and was told that just call us 2 days before and you could get an access in 2 days. However, once I arranged a car to drop my stuff off on the basis of their 2 days window, they then told me that 2 days is subject to availability and they have no availability. Once I have managed to book it, they just give 1 hour slot to arrive to depot and get an access. Too many restrictions for accessing the pod for my liking. So I find it difficult to store with them on a continuous basis.

Amazing experience moving house - what could have been incredibly stressful, was actually not at all. all items delicately packed and moved with utmost care. a complex job with different locations involved and they remembered every detail. moving very valuable/valued items including antique piano was done expertly, thank you!

Had a very stressful time when I had to move out of the house in a week's time while being abroad, found JamVans on the Internet and I couldn't be happier with my decision! Any worries that I had about moving house completely disappeared once I began arranging the move with JamVans. The team who helped me during March 2021 were friendly, supportive, and were able to help me at very short notice. Get in touch with them, and they will take care of you and your belongings. JamVans help move folks to other countries...I needed to move across town! Even so, I can echo the experiences of many others. The Facetime call with Justin to assess how much stuff I had was pleasant, where he determined the size of van and packing materials required. On the day Liam and Niall were fantastic as they arrived on time, packed and unpacked the van swiftly, taking good care of my belongings. Liaising with Nikki throughout the whole process was a delight, as she responded to emails quickly and was very supportive on the phone too. On moving day, I also required some furniture to be collected from another address, which was factored into the costs and proceedings with no problems at all. Fantastic start to finish. We had a very long and stressful conveyancing transaction. Of all the services we employed, JamVans were consistent in their care. Annette rang us more and more often as the time moved on to keep us up to date with their diary commitments and, when completion date was confirmed, we were delighted that JamVans could fit us into their schedule. As they are extremely busy at this time of the year, we did get other quotes but we were finally relieved that JamVans could take our move. JamVans have carried out a couple of moves for family and friends so came highly recommended. We were NOT disappointed. Moving day was very long and arduous. The wonderful team had to wait several hours for us to get keys but stayed happy and cheerful for the whole day. We really cannot recommend them highly enough. Moving is one of the greatest stress triggers. Doing that in the middle of a pandemic/lock down multiplies it by a thousandfold. However, JamVans and their excellent crew made this ordeal a lot more bearable than I had anticipated. My timeline was quite on the tight side too. The move was scheduled for 9.00 and I had a flight to catch at 17.00. But the team were excellent. They moved so swiftly and efficiently. They completed the entire task within 3 hours, thus even giving me time to relax and catch my breath before my flight. A huge thank you to Liam, Niall and Allan. I HIGHLY recommend JamVans - we had a faultless experience with them. Nikki and Annette were endlessly patient, helpful, thorough and incredibly quick to respond during the planning stage (when everything else was going very very wrong!), and as soon as we were able to confirm the booking they acted very speedily. On the day itself, Callum and Niall were able to turn up a bit earlier which really helped the process, and were brilliant. The best compliment I can give is that we hardly knew they were there! They were so efficient, looked after our belongings very carefully, dismantled and re-assembled the bigger items in perfect order, and negotiated furniture around tricky small hallways and stairs in the destination house whilst we rushed around madly. Consultation with Shane was quick and he answered all our questions. They also provide boxes for a fee and get these delivered to you which was a god send. On the day the guys came right on time and was super impressed at their organisation and how quickly and safely they loaded everything up. At the other end the guys again unloaded really quickly and carefully, putting down carpet runners and also making sure we were happy with where everything went. Just used JamVans for our move from North to South London and very happy we did! Due to Covid, we did a virtual survey of our property and furniture first, which was very thorough and handy. From there we agreed on the services we’d need. We decided to pack ourselves and received all the packing materials 2 days before the move. On the day, the three guys were great, very helpful and friendly. It took from about 9am - 4pm (roughly) to complete the full move. They even disassembled furniture if needed, and reassembled. Very happy, would use again

This was only my second time using a removal company, the first time I had a really bad experience with a different company so this time I took my time and did my research. I chose JamVans because Shane who did my survey we do thorough and helpful, he went into a great level of detail and put together my quote and move plan. Matt was very helpful throughout managing my move, I got a pre love and post move call just to make sure everything was going well, which I think was a really nice and caring touch. Am totally amazed at a previous review. I found the office admin. extremely helpful and very patient with my constant phone calls and questions. Annette and Matt were the people I mostly dealt with and could not fault them!......especially grateful to Annette. As for the actual removal men ......well, how hardworking they were. I spoke mostly with Andy who was very considerate, treating me and my goods with respect. After loading it was a 4 hour journey and they did not finish unloading and reassembling until 19:30 ......all the time both men were friendly and considerate placing my goods according to my wishes. Even after a 13 hour day!!! I know I paid for the service but I think they went above and beyond. Would have no hesitation to recommend JamVans....in fact, I would positively encourage it!!!

Jamvans has good value storage solutions and good customer service, and I would absolutely use them again. When my items were first picked up, the driver parked in an illegal spot and initially I was charged for the ticket. However, after I expressed my dissatisfaction online, Matt has very helpfully reversed the charge. Matt assures me the problem has been addressed and I'm confident such an issue won't occur again.

I am not normally one to leave reviews however after the last couple of weeks of my dealing with JamVans I feel they really are worthy of it. I had a really complicated exchange and completion which ended up being an exchange and completion in one day, this sent my stress levels through the roof. Nikki was so helpful throughout the whole process even on the day when I wasn’t sure if everything was going to go through or not. My movers were Nial, Denis and Adam and they were such kind hearted people, I felt in safe hands and that they really cared about their job and the service they were providing me. After having Dealt with numerous entities during my moving process including estate agents, surveyors and solicitors, Jamvans were BY FAR they company that cared the most and actually wanted to provide me a good service, I can’t thak them enough.

The gentlemen who came to collect our stuff were organised, speedy, courteous and all those other great words for people to take care and pride in their work. The receipt of the goods in Hamburg was also fairly smooth, it was a little disappointing that the driver was alone and thus could not offer much support in getting the items to the actual door of the apartment. This would have been important information to know had I been alone when receiving the goods. Luckily my wife was able to act as a middle-man between getting things out the van and into the lift/apartment. Everything arrived safely and without damage and overall I was very impressed with the service and will definitely use them when returning home in the future.

The team made what can be a stressful experience really great and somewhat fun, though still tiring. They were fast and efficient and friendly at all stages. We got a brilliant price and because we were moving to the company's hometown, the crew they sent us was from Lock, Stock and Two smoking barrels. Only points for improvement would be giving extra crew and tools for furniture dismantling and re-assembly and more carpet coverings. Overall we had a good experience with JamVans and I would recommend them for a London move. We did have some issues at the quote stage - they contacted us twice after issuing our original quote to raise the price significantly. On the first occasion this was because they'd forgotten to include the costs of some items, and to charge for petrol, so we accepted this uplift. On the second occasion, they attempted to add a further £145 to the charge to cover 'packing materials', which I'd previously been assured was covered within the 'full pack' service we'd purchased. When I challenged this, the charge was waived. Email communication with our move coordinator was really clear and prompt throughout. On the move days the team were professional, efficient, friendly and thorough. When a large item was forgotten at the property, they made a return trip early the next morning to collect it. The items were delivered in good condition, with the exception of some house plants which were a little worse for wear. We would use JamVans again in the future, overall we were happy with the service and the issues regarding costs and charges were resolved satisfactorily.

I've used these guys twice now as we're moving from studio flat to house. They've given me outstanding service both times. Friendly, polite, professional and fast They cleared out five years worth of accumulated stuff from my studio flat in about 20 minutes as I'd already packed into crates. They are genuinely respectful of, and careful with, my belongings. I've used people before who forget that they're handling someone else's property. The Jamvans guys didn't. They asked about the best way to handle certain things and made sure the van was packed carefully. At the self-storage unit they asked about the best way to pack things, for example what I might need first so it could go in last, and made sure I got the most out of the space. I'm really impressed, and while I didn't get the names of the guys from the second run, Martin and Chris were outstanding. Jamvans beat my expectations - I'd expected less careful handling. The prices are average for the market, but there's no delaying tactics to squeeze out an extra hour here and there. I've never seen stuff move so fast. They're definitely going to be my first choice when I come to move out of storage and into the house. Annette in the office is fantastic - very knowledgeable, quick to respond, and there was no nonsense involved in booking.

I have used this company twice on 24/10/19 to transport 37 boxes from London to Southern Spain and again on 7/11/19 to pick up a further 6 boxes that I left with a neighbour, as I had already left the country by then. On each occasion, I have found the service to be second to none. Both Matt Williams who first handled my request for a quote and Nikki Jones who ultimately handled the whole operation have been true professionals who bent over backwards to accomodate my every need and be as flexible as possible with notice to collect especially with the first pickup as dates were totally up in the air. I gave very little notice on either pickup and they delivered exceptional service on each occasion. Callum who collected the first set was earlier than expected, very accomodating and patient and the Jam Vans agents who collected the second batch and delivered both batches in Spain were remarkably fantastic in arriving on time and unloading. Jam Vans were not the cheapest company but I went with the reviews I read and the Which approval. I could not have asked for a better company to ship my precious memories over to my new home.

We were very impressed with the professional service provided by JamVans. Right from the consultation phase through to the box pick up. A surveyor firstly came around to our flat to assess everything and provide a competitive quote; the surveyor was knowledgable and friendly, which made us feel comfortable from the start. With such short notice given (less than a week) we did have to pay a small supplementary fee for box delivery but this would normally be included. The boxes are heavy duty and I liked how they reused boxes instead of just throwing them away afterwards! On the nice day, the guys turned up with ample truck space and were friendly, polite and professional. This went a long way for me. They disassembled and reassembled our furniture and did everything carefully. They were thorough in their checks afterwards, making sure everything was in the right place and that nothing had been left behind. The follow up service (calls and box pick up) were well organised and professional as well.
