We were moving with a young baby which in theory should have been an incredibly stressful experience, but Shirleys made it really smooth and seamless. We opted for their packing service which was worth every penny. Everything was packed thoughtfully and carefully with no breakages at all. Their team were a pleasure to have in our house throughout the process. The move itself was equally smooth, with the team in good humour and eager to help with every little challenge. We were moving some distance so it was a long day for them but they were a huge support throughout. We highly recommend Shirleys, especially as they were also really fairly priced.

l. b.I first met with these lovely people in July when I did the zoom tour of my house and it was apparent from then how professional and competent they were going to be and they did not disappoint.
When the moving day arrived they were really pleasant and got the job done in a pleasant competent and reassuring way and that included disassembling the beds and table and reassembling them at the other side which was a long way away in Coventry as I was moving from London. Even though they were delayed due to problems on the motorway it did not change their professional and pleasant manner and I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family as they will be getting the best and also very reasonable prices.

W.What a great removal company, so hardworking, such meticulous attention to detail....and I wasn't even moving home myself, I was just the tag-along observer to a friend who was overseeing his son's family's move in London. Magali and Wendy and their crew were phenomenal, it was the hottest weekend on record and they didn't stint for a minute, never once lost their cool in spite of steep and narrow staircases in the new house (and having to carry a washing machine and a dryer up two flights). Loved their ethos. I can't recommend them highly enough and would use them in a heartbeat if I or any family members or friends were moving. Six stars ladies!

On the day of the move, Magali and Nita were fantastic. They arrived on the dot and were incredibly proactive in planning the best logistics on both ends. They loaded and unloaded our items very efficiently but also carefully. And throughout it all they provided a calm presences and much welcome reassurance, turning what could be a very stressful experience into a far more calm one. And they were absolutely amazing at the end of it all by helping us put together our bed--which was very welcome so we could relax! d.Can't thank the Shirleys team enough - they were so professional and helpful and turned what would have been quite a stressful move into a really straightforward one. They were really careful with my belongings and took my instructions on board. One thing that really stuck with me - the team took time to introduce themselves before they got started with the move - it was a small gesture but really reassured me that they understand how personal it is to move someone's possessions, and how much trust is involved. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I. I.I was pretty stressed about moving and Shirleys removals really helped alleviate that stress - especially with moving during lockdown. They were fantastic at packing (had boxes, tape & bubblewrap on them). They also took apart several items of furniture (including sliding door wardrobe, double bed, and large sofa) and re-installed them at the new location. It went very smoothly and I was extremely pleased. It was also fantastic to work with a female-led business!

We spoke early on in the process and she was empathetic as well as very professional. There were some large items like the one pictured that are heirlooms and Magali understood their importance. We had to work remotely because of Covid but it all worked out and Magali took great care to ask if it wasn't clear what should happen to an item. She took the unwanted stuff to appropriate places, sorted and packed. A fantastic service. Thank you.

R. J. H.This would I guess be classed as an 'old review' as it was many years ago, Google Review's were just a twinkle in someone's eye.
I arranged a flat move from one road to the next in about 1995 as major works were being carried out. Shirley was most pleasant and so were the other 2 people. They were extremely careful with all of my belongings, and although it involved moving the lorry a fair few times to allow traffic through (I lived right opposite from where Corbyn lives now.) I did have a fair amount of stuff.
They were extremely efficient, reliable, and cheap compared to other firms, so when I next moved 4 years later I used them again. Although my belongings and furniture, white goods etc had increased considerably in quantity they were still the best, with a very competitive quote.
I was unable to be at that properly in N7 at the time, so my good friend oversaw the move at that end. I was ready to receive them at the new property in N19. The move didn't take very long, and everything was unloaded with care. Shirley was on this move as well.
I've been at my place in N19 now for almost 20 years, and really don't want to move again, but if I did however, Shirley's Removals would be the first Company that I would ring. I have recommended the firm to others in the past.
