D. Y.Facility: The building is a solid brick and mortar build circa 1960s and looks to have been used as some sort of processing for food or parts fabrication line. It's actually a very interesting building in of itself and probably has a lot of history which could interest local historians. The whole facility is fenced of with high metal solar fencing and barbed wire at the top, the main entrance is a wide double door gate wide enough for HGVs. Entry is controlled by the staff.
The product: In this case the storage units, like other self storage companies vary by floor size while maintaining a constant height, operate a sliding bolt and loop locking mechanism which means that you'll need a padlock (not the tiny suitcase thing but a chunky big boy 10 mm shackle).
The price: For what you're getting and the services that they provide, the price is more than fair (considering the competition). They don't try to entice you by having a few weeks of half price and ask that nonsense, but instead just offers an honest low price for what they're providing.
Staff: The facility is staffed rather than automated with some sort of fob or keypad, which is really nice as it feels quite secure. The staff are friendly and very helpful, while simultaneously they provide a sense of security to the facility.
Overall: I honestly believe that our belongings are safe and well looked after in their care at the price I'm paying. Sorry and long term they don't mind at all.
