I’ve used PODS twice in a year and both times they have been fantastic!! The first time I had to move out quite quickly due to emergency electrical work and the staff were amazing, they answered all my questions really quickly and efficiently. The second time I used was for moving house, all staff are very professional but moreover they are all really helpful. I was a pain asking for times etc but each time I got a warm and friendly answer and nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend PODS to anyone (I already have lol) they took a lot of my stress away during a very stressful situation!!

We were really happy with the delivery of the PODs unit which was arranged with great diligence considering the complexity of the process when managing delivery / pick-up at differing locations. They worked with us to tailor a quote to suit our needs, involving a number of calls to get this correct and was greatly appreciated. The pick-up and delivery times were met no problem! We had the pod at my old house a week before we moved to allow us to pack and load up in our time. We kept the pod for additional 6 weeks on the drive of our new home to allow us valuable time to do renovations, the PODS are completely water proof, so none of my treasured antiques were damaged. I would definitely recommend using a POD for your house move. I wasn't sure if I would be able to have a POD due to the location of my house, the team were great in instructing me on what they needed to confirm if it was possible. Luckily it was. The whole process of ordering the POD, delivery and pick up was seamless. The ladies were great in confirming the days before pick-up and the drivers were fab and always arrived when they said they would. Great service and made our home moving process a lot easier.

I was left without a removal option after my house completion date was brought forward. Existing companies I had used before could not help due to time and the width of my road. I then remembered two of my friends who had rated PODS when they had used them. I rang them and before I knew it thanks to Helen I had a delivery option put forward due to the road width outside my house and a date that meant I could keep my completion date. Excellent service from start to finish I the got the pod redelivered on short notice, the drivers was very professional and experienced in using the equipment my new house is in a difficult place and on a hill but they did it. What a life saver! We had never heard of PODS until a builder mentioned them to us. From the moment I contacted Helen in the office until the POD was delivered to the 1st address and then moved to the 2nd address was pain free and gave us total peace of mind. Got to give full credit to the delivery team as they made delivery look easy, even in ( at times a very tight space). The POD itself was spotless clean and most important dry, as I was a little worried about having all our household soft furniture stored within for long period of time. Due to extensive building work we had being undertaken we ended up with our POD for over 6 months, the main benefit we found during this time was we were able to access our things with ease as they were stored in the POD on our property rather than having to travel to a local secure storage unit. Collection of the POD was again pain free and the team again showed great care and attention to ensuring that the POD was collected safely and no sign of it ever being a semi permanent fixture on our property was left. Would definitely recommend this company and product as an alternative for anyone who is considering safe storage.

We used Pods earlier this year. We had about a two overlap of Selling the old house before we could move into the new one. The guys that came on the morning were so helpful, packing the pod up. All making sure everything went in safely & carefully. The same guys helped us unload into the new house. Putting everything into the required rooms. Again, they were super friendly and helpful. Came across PODS Moving and Storage when I was looking for a container to store the contents of my home whilst having work done on the inside. I needed something that would stay on my driveway so I could access it. These guys were perfect! From the first phone call to the drop off, the service has been A*. I had only planned to have the POD for 4 weeks but we are now on week 12+ very affordable and the Pods are clean and secure.

Fantastic service on time and exactly what was advertised. Also great value for money and a way of keeping fit. I hired a POD and moved myself. Only a couple minor niggles that would help others. The pods need internal lights if moving in winter time and perhaps i missed it on the website, but ties would have helped. I took my time and stacked carefully so the ties wasn't an issue for me.

Firstly the people - The ladies who I spoke to in the office were always super friendly and helpful and so was the chap that came to deliver/collect the POD. Just simply no stress at all with this company I explained my situation and They gave me solutions to help what we needed to do, they are an A* company. We booked our Pod to arrive a couple of weeks before our move and that was plenty of time to move everything in, the size of the POD was deceiving and we fit our whole 3 bed house full of stuff in, we have 2 kids so we had a loooot of toys etc. we then had PODS keep the container for us for around 4 weeks whilst we did some renovations on our property. The pod was delivered back to us and we took 3 days to unload which was plenty of time. It was such an easy hassle free way of packing a house up and I will definitely use PODS again if and when we move next. It also was not as expensive as I thought it would be which was a major plus for me. Couldn’t recommend PODS enough. Superb.

I recently moved house and decided to use Pods after reading several positive reviews online. From start to finish I found them to be professional, friendly, and easy to keep in touch with. Moving day was so much less stressful than I feared it would be, because the men from Pods turned up dead on time, were so careful loading my stuff and were very reassuring. I was given the key to my container in case I needed to get into it at their storage depot before I moved to my new home. When I did move in a few weeks later, everything ran just as smoothly and they had everything unloaded really quickly, and all put where I asked. I was thoroughly impressed with the service provided, and even more impressed with the price! Way cheaper than I imagined. A really great company 👏👏

Well I came across this while looking for storage as I had a couple of weeks from moving out of house into my new one. It was the perfect solution. I didn't have to drive anywhere to take my things, just walk out of my front door to the drive. The guys who dropped it off were polite and it was quite cool to watch how they off load it. I got them to pick it up and put it in storage for a couple of weeks. Then the guys that dropped it off unloaded it for me and they were polite and covered all the carpets etc and did an amazing job. Nothing got broken, everything was as I had stored it. I did use cables to secure things safely. I would definitely recommend PODS. It is so much cheaper than getting a big company in. You can choose to load it up in your own time or you can choose for them to do it. If I ever move again or need anything storing this would definitely be my first point of call. Thank you for taking the hassle out of moving.

We used PODS back in February when we moved out of our home and we also used the storage facility whilst we waited to move into our new home. This service was fantastic and we have already recommended them to others who have used them since and said the same. We had two lovely lads come round and pack our three bedroom house into a box. It was no easy task but they made it look easy. They knew exactly where to put things, taking time to wrap things, and everything fit with cms to spare. If we had used a normal storage facility we would have been making trips to and from all week whereas they were able to do it all in the morning. The arrived on time, giving a call when they were on their way and left before our completion time. They were super speedy, polite and hard working. As we said we have already recommended them to others and will definitely use them again in the future.

I used Pods for my recent house move and overall it was a great service which worked really well for me. There are a couple of things to bear in mind if you’re planning to use this system for removals tho. Firstly, I didn’t quite fit all my stuff in the larger “pod”. You might need a plan “b” if you’ve got tons of stuff. I was moving from an average 4 bed town house, normally furnished with a half full garage and no attic stuff. Secondly, the lorry returning the pod couldn’t manoeuvre into our drive - we do live down a narrow lane with a tight ish turn in so not likely to be a problem for most The benefits for me outweighed those problems. Firstly, the staff were really helpful, prompt and friendly. Timings were stuck to. The removal men were polite and efficient. The best part of this system though is the flexibility. I hate the chaos of removals day and with a pod you don’t have that. They dropped the pod on my drive 2 weeks before I moved so I gradually decanted the house into the pod with time to properly pack boxes etc. The process works just as well at the other end. The pod gets moved to your new location then you take as long as you need to unload before asking them to take it away. If you need it the pod can be stored and you can still access your stuff in storage if required. Overall I was pleased and impressed with the service and would recommend. TG.

Our experience with PODS from start to finish was absolutely excellent. We had the pod for a few weeks before our move which enabled us to load it up, as and when we had some free time. A few days before our move the pod was taken away and dropped off at our new place, five days after moving. We unloaded it in stages when time allowed. I can very strongly recommend PODS removal firm. We had a long distance move from Derbyshiee to Cornwall. The firm was very helpful and flexible when we were organising the timing of the move. Fantastic experience! After the stress of working with solicitors for the past few months, the actual move was a breeze thanks to Matt, Jordan, Alan and a few others from PODS. We paid for the full packing service from our 4 bed house in Manchester to our new home in Nottinghamshire and it made the whole move so easy. If anything we felt like spare parts! PODS planned the move really well, removing lots of non-essential items the day before the move which gave us plenty of time to clean the carpets/skirting etc. Then they packed the final 'essential' bits (sofa, TVs, bed etc) on move day and delivered them straight to the new house, a 2.5 hour drive away. The non-essentials were delivered the following day, which although I was reluctant on at first, worked great, because it allowed us to clean the new house and also meant there wasn't too much unpacking in one day. Everything was well packed using sturdy boxes, packing paper and bubble wrap where needed. Diane and Helen in the office were also great. They were flexible when our move was delayed, were great at communicating and never pressurised us. We also used PODS to dismantle and reassemble a large storage unit and triple wardrobe - again, done excellently. Overall I wouldn't want to move house with anyone else!

We recently moved from Manchester to North Wales, and initially had a couple of quotes from removal companies in the region of £3500 - £4000! We were quite shocked as we were downsizing to a two bedroom bungalow and these prices were based upon us doing our own packing and flat-packing our own furniture. When we discovered PODS Moving and Storage we were over the moon. The idea of being able to pack your own things in your own time was such a great concept, and in our case actually paid off because there were delays in the chain that took us into a second month by a week, and the cost was minimal because it was just simply the hire of the container that we had to pay extra for. Another bonus to using the container, is that it gives you the opportunity to clear your house in advance so that you can clean properly before vacating the property. Every member of the team that we dealt with were excellent from booking, quoting and organising to the guys that delivered the POD and then delivered our furniture. The support staff were so helpful and accommodating, especially as we had to deal with the complications of major gas works in our area and difficult routes for delivery. All in all we saved more than two thirds the cost of Pickfords removal company by using PODS Moving and Storage, and the service was actually better (I had previously used Pickfords to move my mum before discovering PODS Moving and Storage). We can't recommend this company enough - I would always use them again, but after the trauma of our recent house move (not the removal but the conveyancing process!) we won't ever be moving again. Thank you PODS Moving and Storage for at least helping us get through the process by managing our removal needs so well and coping with the changes, and a huge thank you to your delivery team who were stars at the end when they delivered the furniture and unloaded everything so quickly and efficiently.

We lived in our home as normal until the day before the move which was amazing. The team arrived the day before we moved and packed the majority of our possessions. The day of the move they finished the packing including the taking apart of beds and other furniture e.g. reclining sofa. They moved us and then put all the beds etc back together. They also moved each fully labelled box to where we asked them to in our new home. We opted to unpack all our stuff and the company arranged to collect the used packing material a few days later. All the staff from ordering the service right the way through to the packing teams were highly professional and efficient. I would highly recommend the company.

We had to store a large quantity of furniture whilst our home was refurbished following a burst pipe whilst on holiday. The insurance company agreed to the hire of the PODS container during renovations and this proved to be a brilliant solution as it was placed on our driveway, allowing us to access and change contents as the refurb progressed. We were also able to store building materials inside in a clean, dry and secure environment. The hire of the Pod probably also saved us from having to move out our home for a period of time thus saving us and the insurers stress, time and money. The Pod hire staff were extremely courteous and helpful - customer service was great and the pricing and invoicing clear and transparent. The offer of eight weeks initial Pod hire at half price was a bargain - we ended up having the Pod for 13 weeks. I would have no hesitation in recommending this storage solution especially as you can retain your stored items on site.

Arrives on a low loader and easily manoeuvred into position. It compares very favourably with self storage and is considerably cheaper when compared to pack and store options of removal firms. I have used PODS twice. Both times with full packing service. The first time went like clockwork. Three guys arrived at 8am, packed everything and arrived at my new property around lunchtime. Second time was disastrous. Was told as I was moving quite a distance they would pack Monday leave me with what I need overnight then move me Tuesday. Was told to expect them between 8 and 9 am on both days. Nothing confirmed by email. Monday no one arrived by after 9am. I phoned PODS to be told they were coming at 11.30. They arrived and said they were packing and leaving the boxes in my tiny flat and loading the next day which meant I would have to leave before them to pick up keys for new property. When they arrived at new property they had left several things behind, despite me giving them a list of what to leave. A vacuum cleaner,mop and bucket and my new router were left in the flat and the connection for my reclining sofa had been left on a communal landing. I was given the impression it was I who had got the arrangements confused and as nothing was confirmed in writing could not get to the bottom of what went wrong. I have a disability and due to PODS inefficiency had to carry a heavy vacuum etc from the flat into my car. I received an apology by phone and that was it. I was very disappointed after a good first move and would definitely not use PODS again after this fiasco.
