We moved today and Carters Removals have been fantastic. Adam and his team were on site at 8am and worked tirelessly all day. Nothing was too much trouble, they were really tidy and professional. The team in the office have also been great, really responsive and got back to me quickly when I emailed them. Very competitively priced. I’d highly recommend.

I'm so happy I chose Carters. Like a lot of people, I was stressing out over my move - and despite the excellent reviews that these guys have - I was still had some reservations (you never know fully what's going on with internet reviews after all). Well, there was no need, because there's a reason everyone gives Carters five stars! From the initial calls, prompt responses to my queries, and the move itself, Carters did everything they could to make the move go as smoothly as possible. I had underestimated the amount of stuff I had, and they even allowed me to upgrade to a larger van the night before (lucky I did!). On the day of the move, the guys were amazing - genuinely lovely people who I'm glad I got to spend the day with. When I asked if there's anything I can do to help, I was told "just put the kettle on, make yourself a tea, and relax". They even took my old fridge freezer and washing machine when I found out the house I was moving to already had one - which was honestly such a great help. All in all, everything got safely moved to where it needed to be, for a good price, by a great buch of chaps. You don't need to worry, these guys are the best!

I would not hesitate to recommend this firm; the team arrived on time, they were polite, efficient, and hard-working. To see them going about the massive task of packing up and emptying my house was amazing. If they had any doubts about any thing they would let me know straight away. Adam in the admin office was very on the ball as well - and the initial video call with Daniel was helpful as there was a clear understanding of the quantity of possessions, access to the house etc. No surprises on the day. Stuart, Byron and Luke moved me today and the service was absolutely fantastic. After booking in a date I had to push it by a week which wasn't a problem. The team arrived this morning and packed up my entire house quickly and professionally. They dismantled all of my desks and beds and rebuilt them in the new house. I haven't seen any damage to anything let alone any breakages. I honestly felt like the team cared about both properties. They were moving slowly through doorways and paying real attention to the walls and frames. I can't fault any aspect of the service. The new property has a non functioning garage door and the garden gate is broken. This wasn't an issue for the team. I spotted some items being carefully lifted over my back fence at one point. 10/10. I'll be using them again if we move in the future. Thank you to the office team and all of Carters for a brilliant service!

Extremely satisfied with the service received from the team, they go above and beyond to ensure the customer is happy. From the first contact until completion I could not find a single fault. They treated all my items as though it was theirs- moved everything with special care. They even helped set up some of the furniture. Communication and advice up to the moving day was great and Ryan was very helpful with the multiple queries we had. On the day, Ryan and the team were quick, efficient and so careful with our items and such a pleasure to work with. We just made sure we stayed out the way as they moved our items to the vans. They were super fast and efficient at the new house with moving things and helping with the rebuilding of some furniture and even kindly helped us move some things around in the rooms which just made it so much easier for us. Amazing removal services. We moved from Hertfordshire to Scotland and they were brilliant. We had Ryan and Anthony and they were both very professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Also we had lots of changes with our moving dates but Daniel and the team in the office were always very accommodating. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Daniel’s team were punctual, courteous, super-fast and efficient, taking much of the stress out of the two-day removal. When I arrived at my new home they had already arranged the furniture and were unpacking my clothes and hanging them up in the wardrobe. What I especially appreciated alongside the team’s speed and skill was the personal touch that Daniel brought to the process – even stretching to sending two men over to move my bookcase and piano at no extra cost several weeks later. Thank you to Adam and the team in the office too who were extremely helpful throughout the process. I would definitely use Carters again and I am happy to highly recommend them to anyone.

The team have just completed a 2 day pack & move for us……they were absolutely fantastic (I get involved in commercial moves too so I know how good they are). It was a huge mountain to climb, they were so positive throughout the process and kept going until it was done (9 hours later) …..Would completely recommend them professional and marvellous value.

The removal men, all of whom were courteous, considerate and very helpful, were extremely efficient in the packing up of the contents of the house, and in the loading and transporting of our furniture to our new home. If we could give 10 stars we would. We asked several companies for a quote and our final decision was between Carters and one other. We are so glad we chose Carters. We are both well into our 70s and had quite a lot to move. Not only did they give us a good price but everyone was friendly; professional and helpfull. When we told Adam we would be using them he assured us that he would "take good care of us". They did that and more. They treated us like family. My wife drove the 3 1/2 hours to our new house to let them in and I stayed at the place we were leaving to mnitor the last load. Our car broke down at the new house and the movers tried to get it going but couldn't. Adam then stayed with me to make sure I had a way to get to the new house. We couldn't make it that day so Adam got me a hotel to stay in and arranged for a driver to get me to the new house. We have moved 14 times in the last 45 years and we have never had such a good move.

I highly recommend Carters Removals. Communication before the move was excellent, and they were very flexible when we needed to change our moving date multiple times. The contact we dealt with most was Adam, and he was friendly and helpful on all occasions, ensuring we had the packing materials we required in a timely manner. Adam allowed us to upgrade to a half-packing service with less than 48 hours to go when it became clear we would need some help. Moving day was also a breeze. The team, consisting of Team Leader Jay, Karam, and Jaden, were all excellent. They arrived early, were also very friendly and helpful, and followed all of our instructions. When packing and moving our items they were careful and considerate, and we couldn't have asked for a better service. When re-connecting the fridge and washing machine, they re-adjusted the legs to make sure nothing was wobbling, which was a big help! Thanks, guys, for making what could have been a stressful experience a great one.

Moving house is notoriously stressful. On the day of the move my wife and I were certainly feeling tense but Ryan, and the rest of the Carters Removals team were excellent. They took all the worry away with their friendly and relaxed demeanour. They worked extremely hard throughout the day. Their boots were spotless. Just moved in this morning and found Colin, Haydon and Khan really helpful and professional. They took the double bed apart as we had requested and then said they always reassemble at the other end, which they did, without us asking. I had two large sofas which I wanted to go up to the second floor of the new house. It was really tricky and a tight fit but eventually the three of them managed it. They didn't complain- even though it was such hard work- and were totally professional throughout. A sterling job, guys- would highly recommend you. The price was very competitive too and you arrived punctually.

Right from the start Carters removals have been fantastic. Adam in the office kept in close contact throughout the process of a very stressful move as the move date kept being changed and we appreciated this greatly. He was friendly and light hearted and this helped us get through. On the day of the move we had a number of vans as we had a great quantity of stuff to move. Whilst we moved from a bungalow we moved into an upper story flat with a turn in the stairs, so a difficult move. The guys were polite calling us by name which they’re bothered to learn, friendly and I have never seen a group of guys work so hard. They started at around 8 am and didn’t finish unloading until 10:30pm. They must have been exhausted. Thank you Carters for helping to get us through a very stressful move.

Carters came to our rescue at very short notice, when the local removal company who were provisionally booked 6 months in advance, were not available for our date changes (long story... horrendous chain) No home visit was required, as they used the pictures from Rightmove. They asked what large furniture was being taken from what room to work out how much we had to move from Lincolnshire to Leicestershire. 2 vans, one for inside the other for outside, packed with perfection. They even arranged for our hot tub to be moved by professional hot tub removers. (So impressed with them as well, they travelled from Wakefield) Nothing was to much trouble for Uncle, Jay, Colin & Tom they were always polite and friendly and worked like troopers. We marked boxes as heavy, yet they picked them up with ease. We would highly recommend Carters to anyone, they may be based in Milton Keynes but don't let that put you off giving them a call. The only negative thing we have to say is they forgot to bring the cardboard wardrobes, luckily we had a few clothes rails in the garage. Thanks Guys Robin & Angela

My experience with Carter's Removals was very positive. The guys were very professional, efficient and displayed a good sense of humour, even when things didn’t quite go to plan. The guys put down carpet protection, wrapped mattresses, tv, and mirrors etc. It seemed nothing was too much for them to do, working so well together as a team. They more than once went the extra mile. Repositioning heavy sofas after I changed my mind, without complaint. Also doing things beyond the original remit at no extra cost. The guys displayed a can do attitude throughout the move, even disassembled furniture to get it into the house and then reassembling once in the new house. The job was done efficiently and the guys were always polite and Daniel was pleasant and helpful when I spoke with him. Oh and I’d say excellent value for money. Forget remover stress. You have just searched the perfect removal firm. What a professional, super efficient, likeable and most importantly of all, incredibly careful team Carters are. They really treat your possessions as if they were their own. In 23 years I have never once seen my husband relax when work is being done in the home, so imagine my surprise, no, shock, when he was calm upon realising how well these gents work. The folk on the assessment and admin side especially Adam are really lovely to deal with too. Five stars all round!
