These guys were simply amazing…they arrived on time and made no fuss but just got on with the job of carefully moving some very heavy furniture. Nothing was too much trouble and they were not phased by having to move an extremely heavy olive tree in huge terracotta pot. It was a very hot day and they remained professional and friendly throughout….it so helped the stress of the day to have them being so helpful and optimistic. I used this firm as they had been recommended to me and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Thanks so much guys, Deb

after been let down by a major furniture retailer who cant lift their own wardrobes upstairs! These guys are lifesavers who easily lifted 2 wardrobes upstairs (protecting banisters with felting) and completed fitting together within 20 mins !!! great amicable,polite service well done .will highly recommend this firm and will not hesitate to use them again

Absolutely first class service from Rapid. They packed and moved us over a two day period and we couldn't have asked for better service. I would absolutely recommend these guys. They were very careful and efficient, nothing was a bother. They packed our house up by lunchtime and were waiting to move us in to our new house, we were then advised at 5.30pm by solicitors that there had been an unexpected delay and the keys wouldn't be available till the next day. The guys were great, they were completely understanding of the situation and had waited all that time to move us in without complaint. They then offered to store our stuff overnight and came back the next morning to move us in. Despite the inconvenience for them they didn't charge us much extra. Really nice lads as well.

I have used Rapid Transport twice. Both moves were over 330 miles. Andy and Scott were fantastic. Treating my possessions so carefully you would think they were their own. Moved Palmersville to Great Park mid June after lockdown froze our house move from April. The service was first class, lots of useful things that made the process so easy! Wardrobe boxes were great for hanging clothes straight into, clothes out at the other end, and was a great way for our wall canvases and odd items of wall art to be transported safely too. The guys were very efficient packing the lorry for our move, couldn’t believe everything was done in the one day. My upright digital piano was handled like my baby that it is! Thanks again guys, great job!

Andrew and Scott provided a brilliant service from beginning to end. Super friendly and great with our young children as well! Nothing was a problem for them when we were slow to decide where to put stuff, and they make moving heavy awkward things look like a piece of cake. They did all our packing brilliantly, making sure to leave out our essentials (which they seem to know without us telling them) for the night whilst our stuff was locked in a van before arriving and unloading the next day. I have used this company twice for out of area moves - once to move to Newcastle and again to move away from it. The second time I didn't even bother to get any other quotes since I knew the price would be fair and the work could not be bettered. Packing a furniture van to protect possessions and carry them safely is a skill that is generally underestimated, and most removal companies out there don't know how to do it properly. Rapid Transport does know, and Andrew and Scott are excellent. Moving home is a stressful experience, and this company's professionalism and capability helps to make the experience easier rather than adding another problem to the already long list of things to worry about. Thoroughly recommended.

Quality of packing fantastic - not a single item broken in 3000 mile move by air-freight including glasses, vases...bikes...you name it! Really quick, efficient and at the same time caring about not packing things in the wrong place and not a hint of complaint when we inevitably slowed down the packing with last minute changes. Destination Keswick- Rain in buckets from the word go. The movers soaked to the skin in the first 10 minutes and not one grumble, not one complaint. Tea break taken at a gallop, add three floors and a forty yard gravel drive. Very professional and conscientious service. These guys were five star, pure gold.
