Spoke to a few companies regarding student summer storage and very impressed with Safestore. Spoke to Matthew in the Newcastle store who recommended a pallet for our requirements. Matthew sent through the quote immediately and when we arrived at the store Kieran completed the paperwork and helped us to pack the pallet. Matthew and Kieran made the whole process very easy. Look forward to seeing them in September.

I initially spoke to Matthew at the Newcastle Central branch about parking and it was a pleasure to speak to such a helpful, professional and knowledgeable person. From start to finish, he explained the process clearly and completely took ownership of my query. By the end of that conversation, I had all that I needed to know to make a decision but he didn't try to rush me into signing a contract. Whilst considering the contract after the meeting, I had a couple of questions which I e-mailed to the branch. Kieran responded promptly, was very helpful and professional. I've been using the facility for almost a month now and it is absolutely great. It's immaculately clean, access is 24 hours and effortless, and the staff continue to be exceptional. I'd highly recommend this branch for your storage or parking needs.

Have been a customer of Safestore since Feb 2013 when I rented my first storage unit. The reason I first went to them - I’d been to look at various places but this one seemed the best facility, easy access, the best price - and very helpful staff. Why have so stayed so long with them - all of the above!!! There are lots of different storage companies out there now - but in my personal opinion, none better than Safestore. Great place😊 ....especially for storage in-between your student accommodation. The member of staff who was working the day we were booking in, was so kind! He'd waited past their Closing time, as we'd been stuck in traffic, and he still took just as much care and attention in going through everything with us! Amazing service and very Easy to arrange! One call sorted it all and I popped down with required ID. Various sizes of storage were shown to me to ensure we got the correct size for my needs. It is a Pristine facility clean and sanitised to a very high standard. Having visited other facilities I was keen to find somewhere that was not damp or dirty and having looked at a storage container where rats were running freely around under the container! Yikes!!!! There was no question about this being the best option!!! I think when people look for storage they think about the cheapest price but what they don’t realise that a metal box in a field really isn’t the best for your worldly possessions especially if you have children’s items. There are disabled friendly facilities with a fully equipped disabled toilet with cord and these toilets are immaculate! The main attraction for me was the 24 hr access. Choice of loading bays with the latest technology easy to just wave the fob and voila! There are two lifts one at the rear loading Bay Area and one near the reception area of the facility invaluable to anyone using storage! Customer service was at the highest level I have had the delight to be served by David, Matthew and Kieron and have been assisted by Keith I have had help with various questions and help I have needed with my lock setting it up which I purchased from Safestore it is a very strong lock with combination. I purchased the moving blankets, these were invaluable to protect my Laura Ashley furniture and were of superior quality at a bargain price! You can hire shelving for a very small cost I would suggest this to maximise your unit space for the small additional cost it’s well worth it! Trolleys are plentiful large and small, there is a forklift truck you can use for pallets should you need to if you have the required training certification. Location is key to this storage it’s so easy to access from the A1 and it has excellent lighting and safety is of key importance as a woman who is very nervous , I always feel safe at night because of the CCTV and you have access to an after hours helpline should you find your self in need of assistance. All in all this storage was excellent value for money and the discount for 8 weeks was much welcome in these times of uncertainty. I would not hesitate to recommend Safestore Newcastle Central and will use them again. Thank you. I would advise to ring and reserve because this facility is always busy it’s just so popular with individuals and businesses. It’s like a real community and everyone is very friendly. If the staff can help they will help you only have to ask!

We used Safestore for our small business overflow for 4 years at Forth Banks and then later took an entire unit for 2 years. Over the time we worked with them the staff we absolutely amazing. There was nothing that was too much trouble for the lads who regularly assisted with incoming deliveries, couriers and many of the little things that can cause big headaches if not managed properly. Special mentions to David, Martin, Martin and Mathew who were all solid for many years. We sadly moved away from the area but our experience of Safestore on Forth Banks Newcastle was top class and I would recommend them to any small business needing space in Newcastle City area. Kieran was an absolute life saver. Thanks to him staying late I managed to complete a very last minute job. The facility it self was actually really well priced compared to some other places. But guys remember always be nice to the office staff they can save you alot of money if you take time to listen to them.

We used Safestore at Fourth Banks, Newcastle for nearly six months and rented a 300 sq foot store. This was in relation to a house move. The store was spacious and clean and we enjoyed ease of access 24 hours a day with ease of parking at three locations at the facility. The cost was very competitive and the staff very helpful along with tip top security, especially as the Police HQ is just over the road !! We would both recommend Safestore at this location.
