Excellent firm, friendly, professional, efficient and understanding - everything you need them to be during the stress of moving. Went from a busy street with only on-street parking to a house with a set of stairs leading to the front door in some pretty gnarly weather, so not the easiest of jobs for them and they dealt with it all amazingly and at a really competitive price. Highly recommend.

We used Move-4-U for our recent house move and would highly recommend. Richard and team were easy to contact and gave good advice after their initial visit where a very reasonable quote was given. On the day they were professional and friendly, moving our upright piano with no troubles at all. Due to hold ups with solicitors, the day was a lot longer than expected but Richard and team worked tirelessly until late to ensure everything was in the new house where we wanted it (sorry about the sofa bed!). I really appreciate all their work and recommend you use them if you are looking for a friendly and reliable service.

Very impressed! These guys managed to fit in our house move at very short notice and were very reasonably priced. They arrived on time and cracked on straight away, the only thing I had to do was detail what was going and make a cup of tea! Move 4 u were recommended by a friend for being reasonably priced compared to other local companies. Luckily they were available at short notice for my completion date. The guys had a massive job moving my stuff from a 3 storey maisonette with a mountain of stairs and a few steps the other side. They did a fantastic job! The guys arrived on time, were professional and did the job well. I would certainly recommend these to others or use them again although I have vowed never to move again! 😂

Move 4 U gave the cheapest quote out of several contacted - and it was a very good service saying how reasonable their price was. We had to put the moving date back several times and they were understanding each time - keeping calm and patient when we definitely weren't! On the day they arrived when they said they would. Very quickly got the van packed with a professional and friendly attitude. We had a bit of a delay waiting for our vendor to leave our new house but Richard and his team were patient and we got everything into the house by about 2.30pm. Couldn’t have asked for much more really. Experienced, flexible, personable - exactly what you look for in a local family-run business. Would definitely use again.

A polite professional & friendly service received throughout the day. Very reasonable price & came in a lot lower than another local competitor. A lot of heavy solid oak furniture removed without complaint even though it often required difficult manoeuvring due to staircases & narrow doorframes. Wardrobes & beds reassembled. Packing boxes collected after removal. Blankets were placed throughout the house to protect the carpets & banisters, which resulted in zero damage. This is the second time I have used this company & I would definitely use them again in the future. Cannot recommend them enough.

We cannot fault Richard and his team. They worked non-stop for almost 10 hours. Despite two heavy downpours and a couple of showers - anoraks went on, hoods were put up and they tirelessly soldiered on. During the whole moving experience they remained polite and courteous, we had a lot of laughs ( especially over our collection of watering cans) with them as well. They were recommended to us, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone else. The price was very competitive, they arrived on time, provided some additional cartons as we had run out and helped us to fill them. They were especially careful with regards to protecting carpets and our belongings from the elements (as it was raining on move day!). Everything was done for us; all we had to do was make the tea!
