The whole experience has been a positive one. Connor and Manasseh were very helpful talking us through the process and showing us round the site. Our unit is easily accessible and clean and there are plenty of trolleys available. Would highly recommend.

One of the top businesses in town. They made my hectic house move possible, I don't know what I would have done without them. When they say that you need a bigger room - believe them, they have been in this business longer than you have! Your needs and appetite will grow. The only downside is lack of 24/7 access.

Great job by Ben Taylor explaining everything - he really was very good. However, he didn't tell me how much the insurance would cost before processing it - yes, I know I should have asked, but I was expecting to see a quote. The insurance is a a rip-off and I'm annoyed at him and myself. The actual place in Oxford is very convenient to get to, lots of parking, handy unit - really all a very high standard.

Good rates, nice manager and his "boring" employee. What else would you need? Everything was explained very thoroughly, trolleys are available to help you move goods into the storage, storage is insured and they have everything available on site. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for storage.

Best storage company I have ever encountered so far. Our charity was desperate for storage for massive healthcare equipment donations. We made online enquiries and Stephanie came to our rescue witnin 2hrs with fantastic proposal. She was friendly, very professional and eloquently explained all the realistic options available to us. We left their office with a sigh of relief as they offered us one of their free storage for local charities. They proved that sometimes business is not all about money but also giving back to the most vulnerable in communities one work in is a necessity. Highly recommended.

It takes a lot longer than you think to go through the process of putting stuff into storage. However the 3 men who dealt with me over the phone & in person are very good at their job & are extremely helpful. The facility itself is excellent & is well managed.

Such a great experience! I got my timings wrong and turned up very close to closing, so I had called ahead and Jamie kindly volunteered to still book me in. He and Daniel went above and beyond - they were so friendly and professional, organised a price lower than I’d researched anywhere else and explained all the terms very clearly, showing me around and even offering me tea and coffee after close. Booking the room was very easy and on the day it went quite smoothly as well. However, there were only two members trying to take all the phone calls and I had to wait quite a lot till I was able to checkin with them. The actual process was very smooth but the room I got was not symmetrical, one side was much thinner than the other making the storing quite difficult. It will be great if we have a picture of the room before hand so that we can see if we need a bigger room and they changed my room last minute which made me not able to put my luggage information. Student discount is really great! I also wish that there could be a closer to city center service for students only since many Oxford students do not have a car to be able to bring everything to the storage. Lovely service so far and very clean and very prepared for covid19 by having many hand sanitisers!

A good storage company with good facilities and is very secure. Easily the most expensive but you can get a price match from a competitor and negotiate. If you are storing long term it will be extremely expensive unless you negotiate the price from the beginning and pay for the entire term up front. You do get refunded for the days you don't use but you need to give them 7 days notice, which means if you need to only use the storage for 3 days you will pay for 7; other places don't refund you at all. Unfortunately if you work there it's a hell of an experience. It might have been just my management that were extremely toxic but after speaking with colleagues from other stores only one or two had similar experiences really, so it's hard to say for the company as a whole. It was also extremely annoying because you do the exit interview with the manager and not HR so you can't be honest to why you left because you still have to work your notice with said manager.

She is an excellent advocate for the company and clearly enjoys her work. Excellent customer experience so far. The 19th I booked a storage unit. In on the 20th and loaded up. The customer service received was excellent with a good phone call to explain how it all works and the costs. On arrival contracts were signed after I was shown to the unit. Got a trolley, loaded up and unloaded into the unit. The member of staff was very attentive and ensured I understood everything. (Sorry I forgot her name!) All took less than 40 mins. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a short term storage solution.

I booked Big Yellow Storage from the USA prior to my move back to the UK. I spoke to Stephanie who advised me on size of storage unit and best value packages. I needed storage for 18 months at least. We discussed insurance but I preferred to do that myself without taking up the offer of a price match. When we arrived at the storage unit we had more stuff than i had originally estimated so e needed more room. Stephanie worked out the best deal for us - in this case it as cheaper to rent a small additional unit - and irked with me on the inventory to make sure both units ere covered for insurance purposes with no additional premium needed. Throughout Stephanie showed that she understands here job perfectly. She was both professional and supportive and made numerous cups of tea and coffee for us and for the removal company guys who did all of the moving our freight.

Daniel was the staff member that checked me in and he was very accommodating. I had some storage reserved but had not checked in yet, and I wasn't able to get to the location until 15 minutes before closing. Nonetheless, Daniel graciously helped me fill out the paperwork and get set up. This saved me a lot of trouble because I otherwise would have had to lug my stuff (some of which was rather heavy) back to London (where I'm staying currently) via public transport. Huge thanks to Daniel and Big Yellow!

The building is very clean and secure. The staff are helpful, the rates are reasonable. I particularly like the big trollies you an fill up by your car, whizz them in to the lift- straight up, open storage and in. Easy.

First time I've used storage. Location is good (except for Football match days when the ring road can get busy!). Facility clean & well lit. Access is secure, and check-in routine is relatively pain free. Parking is available, but I can imagine it being busy at certain times. Make sure to check which of the two Big Yellow locations you're going to, as there's two within 100m of each other!

Friendly and convenient, but note that the price on the website does not include insurance which is required. Nor was it included in the price I was quoted on the phone. Be sure to ask for a listing of all the charges before you drive to Cowley. Jan 2014 Edit: Looks like the issue with the insurance pricing has been resolved. And I appreciate that the owner took the time to respond to my review. Looks like they are working hard to address the needs and concerns of their customers.
