Excellent packing and removal service: friendly, fair and extremely efficient. When my house sale completion date changed, Rich was really flexible and changed date with no quibble. They made sure that I was happy with where boxes/furniture was positioned before leaving. They were also were more than happy to return to collect cardboard boxes a week later. They worked well as a team. Their years of experience really showed and so I felt confident that they knew exactly how to approach the job - just one less thing to worry about at a stressful time! I’ve recently moved from Oxford to Edinburgh with RJS removals and I couldn’t have asked for a better service! Rich was clear and quick to respond throughout the booking process. He helped us work out the right size van and number of boxes (spot on). They were incredibly flexible when we were struggling to find our new home and had to change to a storage container at short notice. On the day, even after a long and slow drive to Edinburgh and unloading into a tight storage container, the guys were kind, helpful and had a great sense of humour. Through a long and drawn out lead up to exchange (during the busy stamp duty holiday) Rich provided me with clear and informative communication. I knew immediately our move was in safe hands. On the day the performance of his team was flawless. They had our flat safely emptied and loaded up in no time at all. They took lots of care and attention with the disassembling and reassembling of our furniture - in some cases it was put back together into a better condition than it original was in! RJS gave us an excellent packing and removal service in our move from Oxford to Abingdon. Richard and the team provided a very professional, reliable and friendly service, and despite not getting our keys from the solicitors unit late they stayed and make sure we eventually got settled in that night, even sorting out the heating! Our house was large with a lot of furniture and contents, everything was packed properly and there was no damage or breakage at all. Wow what amazing guys. We used RJS to move us from a 4 bed house and they could not have been more helpful. They packed everything up carefully for us and then moved us to our new home. They dismantled furniture and rebuilt it where we wanted in the new house. They made sure we had beds for the first night and were really friendly and helpful. Richard Saunders has a 'can do' attitude and was extremely helpful in accommodating my uncertain date of moving. He is very courteous and reliable. Richard helped us move our entire household to the Netherlands from Oxford, and it was the smoothest moving experience I’ve ever had! Not a single item damaged, super quick, and he was so flexible with dates- we changed dates the week before moving and he moved things around to make sure our stuff arrived on time, despite it beimg a Sunday. It’s a family run business, and the staff is lovely, and they really take care of your stuff, unlike some of the larger movers who suncontract at minimum wage and dump things into cartons as quickly as possible. We took the full packing and unpacking service and they were extremely helpful throughout the process. We got 4 different quotes and RJS were the cheapest, and as we now know, the best! The guys at RJS were super! I moved from a second floor pokey London flat (with narrow stair ways) to Oxford. The flat was on a busy High Street with no parking, but the guys were great and worked around it - carrying all my furniture to the nearest side road! They were punctual on arrival and loaded the van up in an hour and a half. I lost alot of sleep over getting my three seater sofa bed out of this small flat (it took 3 hours to get in), but the guys were able to get it out in 5 mins flat! They were even happy to make an extra stop to pick up an item from my grandmother's house before the end destination. Communication was always easy. Highly recommend!

After glowing recommendations in the Didcot area, Richard and his team were tasked with moving us less than a couple of miles up the road to our new home. All I can say is that they were absolutely superb from start to finish, and despite problems with solicitors / developers on the day, they couldn't have been more helpful in getting our items into our new home quickly and safely. It's not often I write a review, but Richard and the team were a top bunch of blokes and deserve all the credit they get - I genuinely could not recommend them highly enough. One tip for anyone reading this who may not have moved previously, and more of a general tip - just remember that the RJS team are there to help you, so do what you can to help them. Label your boxes nice and clear, and if you're moving into a larger home, when you get there, stick some paper on the doors so they know what is Bed 1, Bed 2, Study, Dining Room etc. It makes everyone's lives easier on what can be a busy day! Very happy to write an unreservedly warm review for RJS. These guys were absolutely fantastic when we moved in February: they kept in touch at every stage of the process, and made the day itself so much less stressful than it might have been. Their cheerfulness and courtesy was such a help, and they were outstandingly efficient. When the key pick-up was delayed by a couple of hours, they were very patient and cooperative. And when it looked like our double bed wasn't going to make it around a tight corner without some force being applied, they called me and talked me through the options. The guys at RJS are true superstars - my wife and I bought a new house and organised a moving company to pack and move us, however they pulled out at the last moment leaving us less than a week to find someone else. RJS came round and surveyed our stuff and gave me a quote that was less than the original company's to pack and move us - an excellent start! The only possible issue was the packing.... The standard practice is for them to come round the day before and pack it all, then load it and move the next day - they didn't have the day before free. Fear not, these guys rocked up to our house at 6.30am and had us packed and loaded into their vans (a 3 bedroom house I should add!) before midday! It was staggering at how easy they made it look, from walking in the front door they were like machines - all our glassware made it intact as their wrapping and packing was superb. They had us unloaded into all the right rooms at the new house within 3 hours, and I have yet to find a single scuffed door-frame or wall. To summarise, they were excellent, not a single mark against them - I cannot recommend them highly enough and they got us out of a real bind with the other moving company. Cheers guys!

Richard and Eric appeared exactly on time. They were quick, helpful and accommodating (I had a large fridge which I did not know about when Richard gave me the quote). I would use them again (but hope it's a few years from now as tired of moving). Certainly would recommend them for house to house moves in Oxfordshire.

Richard and his colleagues moved me from Oxford to South Wales with great professionalism and very little griping. Why griping you might ask? Well what Richard didn't know was that the house was up a steep hill with a load of steps. Only one of the cans could make it up, so the rest of our stuff on the second van had to be carried all the way up, in the dark... I couldn't be more happy with their attitude to doing it as I would have been moaning the whole time. If I had one complaint it is that the quote was too low :D . Was very happy to pay more than the original quote was knowing the job and if I ever move again, I would definitely like these guys to do it, but I'm not sure they would come back :) Thanks again, and good luck for the future!
