I highly recommend Gibbs Removals, house removal in Peterborough. Shelley came to visit the property and quote the removal. Gibbs gave me the best price for house removal in Peterborough. I was very happy with the communication throughout especially as I had changed the completion date several times, obviously out of our control. On the day I was very pleased with the service too. The men turned up and set to work quickly and loaded us up in a little over an hour. This was helped by the fact that we boxed up everything, making it easier to move. Their work ethic was first class, and all the guys moving us were very friendly. And it was a pleasure talking with you Robbie, it really was. Thank you for everything!

I contacted gibbs at the beginning of December. I had an extremely last minute notification of completition dates. Given a date on the Monday to say completition 4 days later on the Friday. From my initial query they were very helpful. And answered all my questions as it was a stressful time moving with Limited notice. The guys who turned up (apologies can't remember their name) couldn't fault them. Friendly, approachable and very efficient workers and answered my questions where needed. They sure made the move more easier for me as I was worried I would need to have a self drive van due to the short notice. Thanks again and will.fefinatley recommend ypur services for the future :)

Gibbs Removals came round promptly and gave us their quote when they said they would. Our move date was changed several times. Gibbs remained flexible and tried their best to accommodate our ever-changing dates without ever making it sound like a problem. They didn't ask for a deposit to secure the date, eventually fitting in our confirmed date at short notice. The removal team were extremely professional and friendly; we went for the additional packing service due to the short notice of our move date not giving us the time to pack ourselves. I would definitely recommend the full packing service, the team had it done within a fraction of the time it would have taken us, even enabling us both to carry on working on the day of packing whilst the team packed for us. Everything was done carefully, nothing was broken, everything was dismantled and reassembled professionally. If I move again I will definitely use Gibbs again and would definitely recommend them to others.

I used Gibbs Removals for a short distance move on 20th September. From the initial quote, when Shelly visited I had a good impression of this firm. The quote was reasonable and communication was very good throughout. On our moving day Robbie and the guys turned up and absolutely smashed it. As a team very efficient, professional looking & courteous. The way they treat and securely pack your possessions in their vans was demonstration that they are good at what they do. Our house was packed up in no time. The downside to our move was having to wait for our new home to be cleared…. It was now I saw what penny pinching and employing a cowboy removal firm will get you, complete chaos! Gibbs (and one other) are highly recommended on local social groups, I was grateful for those reviews. If you want peace of mind (from start to finish) a trusted local firm, with a nice hard working bunch of guys for your move definitely consider Gibbs Removal!

LEE (thought he might like that) and Robbie were absolute gentlemen. It wasn’t the easiest of places to move out of (top floor flat) and not once did they complain, despite having to do 2 runs for all our clutter! These boys are complete professionals and nothing is too much bother - we will be recommending the service to all friends & family and won’t hesitate to use them again when the time comes to move into our new home. Couldn’t recommend more. Shelley was also incredibly polite and helpful despite us coming down with COVID the day before the move - she rescheduled our appointment immediately…I won’t lie we thought it was all too smooth to be true. Gibbs managed to fit us in at short notice after being let down by another company and I can’t tell you how pleased I am we had them to execute our move. The chaps were totally reliable, like clockwork, extremely careful and quick packing. Took out all the stress with this professional and funny personalities. They allowed plenty of time for us to clean our own home by packing up early on the day and patiently waited despite a delay on the day with chain solicitors. Gibbs didn’t get finished up until 7pm and despite the long day, their work ethic, attention to detail, friendliness, sense of humour and care did not waiver. Absolute legends!! Shame I can give more than 5 stars. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! From the first point of contact, Robbie and his team have been amazing. I booked at short notice but they turned up on time and had my stuff safely loaded in no time at all. Due to complication I couldn't move my stuff in on the day I had stated, but this wasn't a problem as they stored my belonging until I was ready. Moving is a stressful process, however they really took the pressure off. They were friendly, reliable, professional, and hard working. They really do go the extra mile to insure everything runs smoothly, including having to dismantle my SOFA to get it into the house and then re-assembling it. Nothing was to much trouble.
