The food here really is fantastic. Every dish is packed with flavour - the tabbouleh was sooooo fresh , the falafel had the perfect texture, the dips and warm Lebanese bread were delicious. The mouth watering meat is cooked to perfection and portions are massive. Make sure you go hungry 😋. We had so much food we couldn’t finish it all. It's pretty hard to narrow down the must-try dishes but our hot tip is to order the mixed grill and some of their delicious Moutabal (Grilled smoked aubergine puree) with some warm Lebanese bread. Thanks again for the service you did to us. Recommended

The food was good and the portion sizes were big but not oversized. The special sauce was very spicy, so try a bit before pouring it all on. The lamb was a bit bland but the chicken was very flavorful.

Amazing food and lovely service by the manager checking in on us and asking how we were doing. I'd say all the starters will be good but we had the smoked aubergine puree cold starter and the sautéed potatoes hot starter, both of which were incredible. We then had two dishes off the 'traditional' section of the menu, the okra with lamb and the slow cooked aubergine. Absolutely incredible flavours. I wish I could know the recipe! Excuse the empty dishes for the mains, they were demolished before I remembered to take a picture, they were that good! Lamb was melt in the mouth delicious.

Beity had a wide selection of dishes on offer, very nice Lebanese wine and plenty of indoor seating. The starters were very fresh and tasty, but our main dishes were a little disappointing. Some of our group had been given food that they didn't order and had to wait for replacements with no apology given. Has the potential to score higher with a few small improvements to service and finishing touches on mains.

Great food, plenty of it too. Staff were great. I will definitely be going back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very impressed apart from one thing. The Gents toilet is a bit of a minefield if like me you're disabled. Very steep, and deep steps down in to it, and the floor was a bit slippery. No actual disabled toilet. Apart from that, it's pretty good.

Really lovely staff. All wearing a smile and are very kind and helpful, nothing is too much to request. The food is absolutely delicious. Really liked the salads and the lamb was prepared and cooked to perfection. Really beautiful flavours from how it was marinated to the wonderful flavour of the barbecue. Not dried out or burnt like many places do. And most importantly not salty. I was even given a baklava on the house as a treat. I would highly recommend trying out this restaurant. Amazing halal healthy and fresh food so i can bring all my friends. Waitresses are professional yet friendly, i tipped them deservingly generously. They know what their doing, had a amazing time definitely coming back and telling all my friends about it.p.s toilets are so pretty!!

Booked a reservation for noon, and although they had not opened up yet, and we had to wait a while, the service and food made up for any initial inconvenience. The service was excellent. We were given lemon water, which you always have to ask for in other restaurants and due to the wait, the server also gave us Lebanese bread with home made sauces on the house while we waited for out meals. Six of us ordered a variety of wraps and everyone left satisfied. A restaurant I would definitely go back to, but for dinner instead of lunch next time.

Fantastic Restaurant 🍽 👏🏻 I really enjoy coming here regularly when visiting Southampton, the food is always beautifully cooked and gives you the traditional taste of Lebanese cuisine. The waitresses are also very friendly and will provide you with a good service when dining. If you want good traditional Mediterranean food, then look no further, this is one of the best in Southampton!.

Best restaurant in Southampton. Truly authentic with amazingly delicious food. Kids loved freshly squeezed orange and apple juice which tasted really really good. Staff was very helpful, caring and nice. Can only recommend and will surely come again soon.

We have been here several times. Food has always been incredible. Meat is top class, my favourite salad is Fattoush which has a mouth watering blend of flavours. The staff are friendly and they keep checking on us to see if everything is good. If you want an authentic middle Eastern restaurant, then this is the place to visit.

Really looking forward to a Lebanese meal. First thing we noticed was how sticky the floor was - everywhere. Also noticed damp smell and signs of damp in toilets. We ordered dips and Lebanese pitta bread to start. Followed this with a lamb and aubergine dish with lamb mince rice for my partner and I had lamb strips with rice and vermicelli. My plate was piled high, delicious and I barely made a dent on it! My partner enjoyed his dish but it was not as big a dish as mine! We finished with petite baklava for me and he had a slice of a semolina cake? Again desserts were good. But now the bad news. We were both awake all night with stomach cramps and my partner is still feeling very rough. I had tasted some of his meat dish but he ate most of his. We can only think it was that dish to blame. So I've given you an "ok" rating as there was service and smiles but we won't be back. Sorry.

Beity is a Southampton Gem! I've never been disappointed by the food or restaurant and its one of the few places I find myself always wanting to return. Everything tastes so good and the quality of ingredients stands out, especially the chicken. They also take very good care of repeat customers!

What an evening! The minute we walked in (No booking) we were greeted by the biggest smile from across the bar by who we later learnt was the owner of this family restaurant. Fine so far. Drinks order was taken then food a little while later. Still fine! Suddenly I saw our server collapse. Stiff as a board as though he fainted. He didn’t move a muscle. I rushed up with others to see if we could give some assistance. Ambulance was called, medics arrived and thankfully he regained consciousness and was taken away by the medical staff. After a long wait we then realized that our order never made it to the kitchen! The owner was the best host in difficult circumstances. He re took our order and delivered the best Lebanese can offer. I recommend this place not only for the food but the professionalism shown to us by all the staff!! شكرا

I love this place, I rave about it to my friends, but today I was very disappointed, the food wasn't as tasty or as fresh as it normally is. No warm welcome, from the staff no smiles seated quite quickly but waited 20 minutes before being asked for our drinks order. Wasn't at all busy. Serving staff did not seem professional or that they even wanted to be there. First time ever I've dined out and not been asked during my meal if everything was OK with our food. The table we were sat at had dried food on the chairs and the floor didn't look it had been cleaned from the night before

Very tasty food, although not very impressed by the okra. Service friendly, but not very organised, and we paid the bill at the bar, with the dirty plates still on the table. I'm guessing they don't offer dessert or coffee, because nobody came to ask if we'd like that! Very easy to book online on their website.

Absolute best Lebanese restaurant in town. If you’re ever wanting authentic food cooked by authentic chefs, that’s the place! I am still bargaining with them to tell me how they make this out of this planet garlic sause! You can taste the wood grill in the meat and bread👌😋. They have online booking system which makes very easy book a table. Decoration is simple but nice, no over decorated and they also have a few tables outside. Service is quick, friendly and carefully. Price is quite good as it is first quality. If you live in Hampshire and you haven't been to Beity - you are missing out on an authentic Lebanese experience!!! My partner and I found Beity 2 weeks ago and we have been there 3 times since then. Not one to usually write reviews but i just had to for this restaurant!!! We live in Portsmouth and we drive to Southampton just so we can have dinner there. The staff are so attentive, friendly and their attention to detail puts a smile on my face every time i go there. As a vegetarian, I always order the classics - hoummous Beiruty, tabouleh, batata harra, falafel and of course one of my personal favourites– waraq inab ( vines leaves). You can obviously find a lot of grilled meat dishes and seafood options as well which have proven to be a hit with my partner. As a Middle eastern man himself, he definitely knows and loves grilled meats and appreciates when they are prepared in an authentic. Lebanese coffee is the perfect way to end an amazing meal. Paired with some baklawa or mohhallabiyya makes for a perfect balance of the strong coffee flavour and the sweetness of the desserts. The prices are very reasonable bearing in mind the wholesome and delicious food served there and the actual portion size. I was so pleasantly surprised by the amazing atmosphere at Beity especially for it being outside of London. It's the perfect mix between traditional and modern - if you want traditional dishes at affordable prices served in a lively and casual setting, Beity is the place for you!

Super tasty Lebanese food in a casual setting. Service was slow at times and they gave us hummus when we asked for babaghanoush, but the hummus was still amazing. Falafel was perfectly cooked, although, the salads were quite heavy on the lemon. Will definitely be back however and can’t wait to try the babaghanoush!

Tasty food! We popped in to try some Lebanese food for the first time The first thing that hits you is a moldy smell like wet cloth or and open sewer pipe somewhere. It smells like something has been leaking for a long time. The food was nice we got some hummus and taboleh which was different then we had a some grilled meats and rice which were lovely!

Excellent food and service! We arrived at the busiest hour and the manager still found a way to accommodate us which is always nice to see. Jo looked after us really well, taking our order timely and helping make sure we had everything we needed, even when the restaurant was bursting with activity. The shawarma hommus starter and the mixed grill mains is an unforgettable experience and a hit every time. The manager even offered us complementary baklava! Overall, we were very impressed with the food and service. The cleanliness of the restroom is also good. I highly recommend.

This restaurant does not have the brashness of the nearby Turkish restaurant but it feels authentic. The atmosphere is relaxed, the menu is improved and the food is good. Highly recommend the mixed grill. My only issue and this is a personal thing, the loss of the Lebanese bottled lager is such a shame but I imagine there is good reason for this.

Visited yesterday for a wedding, the service was fantastic the food was excellent. The team went out of their way to ensure that everyone was catered for and happy. After stuffing my face with the meze and then main course I managed to eat desert and the Mohallabiyya melted in my mouth, the Baklava is made on site and is soooo good. We ordered hummus to share between the two of us and a cix and lamb shish tabouk. Very simple dishes, however, the service and the quality of the food really surpassed our expectations. I would say this restaurant is one of the best restaurants in the town. They have a variety of authentic Mediterranean food, which are very delicious. We ate early, around 5pm so restaurant wasn't busy. Setting is modern and open plan, smart cafe style. Charming staff were attentive and very helpful with explaining the different dishes and helping to meet our preferences. We both chose lamb main courses; it was tender and delicious. The Lebanese red wine recommended to us was very good too. Will visit again when in Southampton. If you're looking for Lebanese or Middle Eastern style food I would recommend Beitys.

We started with all sort of different little mezza starter dishes yummy! Followed by chargrilled chicken and potato fries. My Advice, when u go to eat at Beity’s, you have to start with all sort of different little mezza dishes as starters with Lebanese pita bread to eat the hummus and aubergine dip, before u have any of the meats & potato/rice for main.
