First class packing and removal service. They moved my mum recently who has poor physical health. They were absolutely amazing with her, worked out her needs and ensured she had a comfortable last night. They made what is normally a very stressful time a lot easier. We got quotes for the service from several organisations and ultimately settled on using Lyons because of the solid value combined with amazing reviews. We were not disappointed. The team showed up on day one and made light work of packing practically the entire house, everything was taken care of meticulously and when we were unpacking on the other end it became clear how much care and attention the guys had taken. The move itself the following day went without a hitch and everything exceeeded our best expectations. Moving is stressful at the best of times. However, Lyons took all the stress of moving our furniture away. It is rare to find an organisation as flexible and responsive as Lyons. We used Lyons for our move which was supposed to happen during April, but due to lockdown happened in June. They came out to do an estimate before lockdown, and honoured their quote when it came to the move, even though I'm sure it must have been more work for them with the extra restrictions. Liz in the office was fantastic, and responded quickly to my emails. They were also very flexible, when we thought we might have to change dates and get storage at the last minute. Lyons were easy to deal with and were so accommodating and helpful in an otherwise stressful move. I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving to/from the Warrington area.

I used Lyons Removals for a home move just before Christmas, we only had a few hours’ notice for the move, as often happens with moving house the last stages were on and then off, then back on again. I called Lyons in a panic about 2pm on the Wednesday, they came out the same day to give me a quote and the truck and removal guys (Richard & Andy) were loading our furniture before 8am the following morning. The move all went very well, the whole house was emptied by lunch time and then fully unloaded by 4pm in the new house. I was very happy with the service I received from everyone at Lyons Removals, if I move house again I would definitely use them again.

Lyons Removals were brilliant! They were the best price of three and the service was excellent. We moved the date back a week without them blinking an eye and they arrived on time nice and early. The lads moving all the furniture were very courteous and incredibly efficient and fast, taking care and being considerate. Credit where it's due. They were great and I would recommend to anyone!

Everything about their service was leading the way in professionalism. Very competitively priced. On time, as many boxes as we needed provided up front and then more when we had underestimated more were dropped off within hours of asking for extra. I cannot believe how efficient the moving staff were. We thought that we would have to get our very large L shaped corner sofa out through the first floor Juliet balcony as that was how it had to be brought in, however these guys knew what they were doing and simply by removing the little wooden feet on the base were able to get the unit ( in the two separate pieces) down the stairs and out the front door with so much as a smudge on the walls. I wish the sofa providers in the first place were as knowledgeable! They dismantled beds and dining table and put everything back together again at the new house. I was not expecting that. I made the movers a brew when they got to the house in the first place. They did not drink them until every thing was packed in the trucks. They were so quick however I would not be surprised if they were still warm when they drank them up. Very professional, friendly and clever service. I do not normally give reviews but Lyons Removal are special. Highly recommend with no hesitation.

I was lucky to get our house move done on 10th March, shortly before lockdown. I would strongly recommend Lyons for a house move. The men arrived for pick-up and drop-off to the minute of when they said they would come. They are clearly very experienced and organised and the move went seamlessly. Prior to the move I was particularly concerned about the removal of a heavy piano as it had been damaged on two prior house moves despite using piano "specialists" - but the Lyons team are very strong and managed to move the 250kg without any trouble at all. I never usually bother writing reviews but I do feel that Lyons is much better than your average removal company. Not a single thing I would have asked them to do differently.

The team from Lyons completed our house move today and I cant reccomend them enough. From start to finish they were excellent. All of our fragile furniture was wrapped, sofa and units were bubble wrapped to avoid damage. The guys were friendly, helpful and professional. They took down our wardrobes and rebuilt them at our new home. Put covering on carpets to avoid any damage, removed our garden pots and plants and replaced them in the garden. There were a team of 3 who were all excellent but a special thank you to the taller or the 3 guys who was especially friendly and helpful. Really impersonal to call him the taller of the 3 but didn't catch his name. We have moved several times and these were by far the best in terms of quality and efficiency. This is the second time we've asked Lyons Removals to help us to move house within the last year and we were just as impressed this time as we were the first time. At quite short notice Liz managed to accommodate us and the two lads that turned up were extremely helpful. They worked really hard and even the cable man from Virgin Media was impressed at how they managed to get a three piece suite over a wall and in through the back door of our terraced house. We have used Lyons Removals for 7 years opening 8 retirement villages. We had used several companies prior to finding Lyons but none offered the flexibility and excellent service they give. They have done hundreds of moves for us now and are always on time unless a motorway has been closed. Their staff are polite and sympathetic to elderly clients on what can be a very stressful day and constantly go beyond the call of duty without hesitation. They will have you packed before you know it and there has never been any damage to property. In addition they are cheaper than most. Ours was an emotional move involving a vulnerable, elderly relative- taking her most treasured possessions as well as specific items of furniture, a distance of over 140 miles from one end of the country to the other. Right from the start Elizabeth gave us welcome advice of how best to organise the operation and make it as smooth as possible. My big thanks to her boys for the effort they made to load and deliver every item in tact and, remarkably, arrive on the dot at the agreed time because they set off at 5 in the morning. We moved house on the 22nd May our 1st removal company closed down due to covid19 which I understood so i emailed lyons who came back to me really quickly they quoted through pictures on right move and I arranged for them to move us really easy process, when I received a date to move I contact John again and he arranged for somebody to meet me at the weekend at there office to collect my boxes and packaging materials. On the day of the move the guys were there as promised on time loaded up in a couple of hours and on there way but that's where it started to go wrong there was a delay by nearly 4hrs in getting the keys and when we did get the keys the house still had some of the previous owners belongings in it so again small delay in moving in the guys were really patient and respectful even though they were being schedule by at least a couple of hours and it was a Friday night as well, We were also supposed to pay a fee for every hours that we were over 1pm which was in the contract which they only charged us for 1 hr instead of 3 as they could see that things were certainly not going well. I can't fault them all I ask is that people do what they say they are going to do and when they say they are going to do it Lyons certainly did that I couldnt recommend them highly enough.
