We needed a piano moving from South Wales to Yorkshire. I found Griffin on google and asked them for a quote, which they did and it was very reasonable. When I phoned to sort out dates, I said I had some other furniture to move to two address in the West Midlands and could they help? They said they would not do boxes but sofas, a bed and a chest of drawers they could manage. The additional quote was again very reasonable and we accepted it. The crew who came were polite and helpful and their van was impressively clean, inside and out. They conducted the packing and moving very efficiently and the items were duly delivered in good condition, as arranged and agreed. Well worth contacting them if you have a piano etc (but not boxes!) to move.

This company is superb. They responded to my request almost immediately and were able to book in a pickup within days. When they arrived the guys were friendly, professional and flexible - they needed to be as the lift wasn't working. Moving pianos is never cheap and you don't want to risk using a firm that doesn't specialize in pianos; that said, Griffin are extremely experienced and their pricing is very competitive.

I can't recommend this company enough. I had a wide, heavy upright piano to get up a long, narrow flight of steps with a ninety degree turn. Three other specialist piano removal companies had turned this job down, but the last of the three recommended Griffin Transport to me. I rang them early in the morning and they answered the phone immediately and found a slot for my job the following morning. Three friendly guys turned up punctually the next day, assessed the job, declared it to be possible, and did it successfully - taking maximum care of both my piano and house. The price was reasonable, and quality of work second to none. *Strongly recommended*
