Joe and his team did a great job of helping us move house. Joe was so flexible and helpful with our situation when arranging the booking. very pleasant and prompt communication with Joe when arranging everything. His team were on time for both the packing and moving days and they stayed until the job was done. They also helped us solve the problem of getting our sofa down the stairs! I would recommend Purdy's of Cheam to everyone... I recently used them for my move from Surrey to Suffolk. Carla and Joe were extremely helpful in booking me in and providing my quote and keeping me updated. On the day Dan and Julio arrived on time... loaded the van and unloaded the other end... they were amazing, professional, polite and how they got my monster of a shrub onto the van is beyond me. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a removal company... They were brilliant!

We recently used Purdy's for a huge move - Our 5 bedroom family home of 30+ years, 300 miles north; from the south east to the north west UK! We chose Purdy's in the first place because they were the best value and the most flexible. We were SO impressed! Joe and Carla and their team are both friendly and professional, flexible and reliable, efficient and yet flexible enough to deal even with covid19 issues - and there were some! WOW. We have just moved house and we chose Purdy's of Cheam to help us. We had quotes from several removals firms but what stood out with Purdy's and what helped us chose them was the real personal nature of the team. Joe came to the house to give me a quote for Packings and one for Removals. It was clear from the outset he had a great deal of experience, and made me feel very much at ease with the moving process. After the first meeting Joe sent me an email quote and from that point communicated whenever we needed to by phone call or text - I felt I had direct access to the person that was running the removal team, which I did have. This felt way better than only being able to call a national call centre. I had received 3 other quotes and Purdy's was actually by far the best value. When it came to Packing, a team of 4 arrived at my house 9am two days before removals and spent 8 hours packing our house and leaving the most essential items for us to live for the next day. The packing was done efficiently, and in a friendly manner, the whole team knew our names and were on hand all day. Removals Day! The team of 6 people arrived at 8:30am, and got cracking straight away, dismantling furniture where needed and moving heavy items with great care. Everything was done by transfer time and we met them at our new house for the unload, which they did with great care and listened carefully to where we wanted each item. At the end of the day, they even asked if we wanted the furniture moved around. They worked 2 solid days for us and had 3 removals vans, and equipment to move a piano. Every item was packed with care, and we had no broken items. We are very pleased with the service indeed, 100% recommended. Friendly, Professional and GREAT value.

We were very pleased with how everything was handled by Joe and his team, they were a great bunch of guys and made the day go very smoothly and we had a laugh as well. We needed a removal company at short notice, and Joe at Purdy's was super fast, quick to provide a quote, and made everything seem easy. Their quote was also very competitive for both packing and removals. So we used them for both in the end. Their packing team turned up the day before. Arrived late but that's OK, because they kept us informed and we knew they would finish it all off the next day with the rest of the removals team. Moving day itself was exceptionally smooth - everyone turned up on time, polite, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure that everything was packed well, and worked at the speed of light! If you want a team of hardworking folks that will get you packed and moved from A to B, Purdy's are the best out there. We've used other companies before who we thought were good, but these guys (and girl) will be out go-to from now on. Thanks very much making our move as stress free as it could be!

We used Purdy's of Cheam for a move within Cheam in February 2021. Carla and her team arrived promptly the day before the move and spent the entire day carefully packing the entire contents of our family home. We had a lot of delicate dining items and each one was wrapped with great care and we have had no breakages! The team were all very friendly and professional and I would highly recommend their packing service to minimise stress to almost zero during a big move. On the move day five strong men arrived first thing in the morning and worked tirelessly for 5 straight hours to load two large removal vans. They then did it all again to unload on the other end! They worked so hard and were extremely friendly throughout. We felt really comfortable with them and quickly assured that everything would go smoothly, which it did. We are so happy that we worked with the Purdy family for our big move and would highly recommend their services to all!

Joe and his team did a removal for us at end of June from Banstead to our new address. They were really excellent. Hard working, well organised, definitely not clock watchers at all as they finished after 8pm on the day. We used Purdys of Cheam, a family owned company for move within Sutton in March 2021. Joe and his entire team are fantastic. Carla and her packers team came right on time and packed everything with utmost professionalism and efficiency. They were always smiling, friendly and super patient. Their calm attitude gave me confidence and I was so relaxed as everything was done on time. The ladies are lovely and chatty and do offer loads of tips for the day. I very highly recommend their packing services. The Movers team: Steven, Steve, Mark and Kyle came right on time the next day. They were so calm, composed, never annoyed by any extra questions, always ready to extend an extra hand even beyond what they were suppose to do. They have great patience, always smiling, assuring us not to worry about the move and everything was done on time. They were super careful with all our items and packed, moved and uploaded everything like a dream within the time. We moved houses in Epsom, Surrey. House moves are always stressful and worrying, but Graham made it seamless experience. At first his response to the enquiry was within half an hour. The survey had been done to access the amount of work, and quote had been sent for 2 types of services (with and without packing). The prices fell in the middle, not too cheap to start worrying, but still within the reasonable budget. As we opted for self-packing, Purdy's supplied us the boxes to use. We got our boxes a few days in advance, so we didn't need to rush pack. On a day, the removal team was professional and fast. They kept checking with us, if we are happy with everything thought the day, and on arrival to the new house helped us arranging and rearranging the furniture around the house. Great company, 5 stars service. Difinately recommend.

We would thoroughly recommend Purdy’s of Cheam. The service was faultless. Moving can be very stressful, and these guys made it as easy and painless as possible. Even before the move we were supplied with free cardboard boxes and tape which helped us get the packing up done and on the day itself the team were very helpful and careful with moving our furniture. The team were amazing! Packed us up on the thursday. We had a lot of stuff packed in to a two bed flat. The ladies did an amazing job very chatty/friendly and professional. The following day (moving day) the lads turned up at 7:30 am on the dot as promised and were like a well oiled machine. They didn't stop once other than for a 10 min coffee break. Again such a professional team loaded the lorry up got it to our new house which is a good 60 miles down the road. We were unpacked by 4pm! Again these guys were so professional I can't recommend them highly enough. To add we had no breakages which is a testament to them and their fantastic work. We entrusted Graham Purdy's company with our move within Epsom on Monday 1st June 2015 and could not have made a better choice. The four-man removals team were friendly, accommodating and efficient. One even rode my husband's bike to the new house as there was no room left on the van! Everything went like clockwork. One of the reasons we selected Purdy's was that they donate 5% of their fee to charity, which is laudable. We would certainly use Purdy's of Cheam again and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

We used Purdy's for our move from Sutton to Ewell at the end of May 2015 and for the packing beforehand. The team that did the packing were amazingly quick and friendly - got the job done brilliantly and all the boxes were well labelled and easy to find..and of course nothing at all was damaged. The removal team the following day were equally efficient and friendly - did everything they could to make it quick and painless. They even dismantled a sofa that didnt fit out of the flat and re-built it at the other end, which was an enourmous help. The team also did an extra stop at our parents to pick up some extra boxes at no additional charge, which again made our lives much easier. We couldnt recommend them more highly - the guys worked non-stop on a hot day, barely taking a break and being friendly and helpful throughout.

Very straightforward and easy move for me. A team arrived on Sunday (not all companies work Sundays) to pack. All very efficient and good humoured; they were complete by mid-afternoon. The actual move took place on Monday. They arrived punctually and I left them alone. By late morning they were ready to go so off they went with keys to the new place. By the time I arrived mid-afternoon they had virtually finished. Efficient and well ahead of schedule. No complications arose and everything was moved safely with no damage. I will use them again.

I cannot recommend this local family business highly enough. They were prompt, reliable and friendly and eased the stresses of my move from the get-go. Nothing seemed to be a problem for them and there was no damage to anything that I moved, nor to any hallways etc. Pricing was very fair and accurate for the quality and speed of service provided. There may be cheaper options out there but trust me, budget to use proper professionals like these and it pays dividends.
