Everything about the experience has been fantastic. Incredibly easy online sign up which was so helpful since I needed to be into my unit quickly. The app controlled entry is so easy to use too, meaning you can be in and out with a car load of storage in a short space of time. Inside it is so clean, tidy, and brightly lit. The standard that the units are kept up to is amazing. The customer service has been impeccable too! Really personable and friendly at every single stage which makes it great experience! Cannot fault!!

I used Go Store in York to store my sons processions whilst on summer break from university. The whole process was extremely easy from beginning to end. Staff are very friendly, professional and helpful, they even managed to save me some money by suggesting our items would fit in a smaller unit, which they did. I wouldn't hesitate to use again if the need arose. The premises are very clean/ modern and the app makes access very easy whilst maintaining the highest level of security.

Staff at Go Self Storage are friendly, extremely helpful and professional. They quickly worked out the size of container I might need and explained the contract details and sent the paper work through quickly. Their app makes it easy to access the secure premises and lifts take you to your required floor if needed. Trolleys are available to move your items if necessary. Once I had removed some items and required a smaller container, one was identified within minutes and I was able to move my belongings immediately and reduced my costs. Based on my personal experience I cannot recommend the store highly enough.

She provided excellent customer service and kind words, along with colleague Ashleigh, when we were looking for storage solutions after failing to find a removal firm at short notice during our recent house move. Fantastic experience. Easy to use, the app making access easy and secure, especially if you arrange out of hours access. Thankfully the staff were very helpful in sorting it minor issues (all my fault as a technophobe!!), they were very patient, and generally just made the whole thing very easy. I deliver products Mon-Fri all over the country to different Storage Units and this is by far my favourite. Its in a Great location and easy to get to with a big car park accessible for large vehicles. It has bluetooth accessibility to gain entry in and out of the building and same with entry to your personal unit. This to me is what makes this so unique as I have not seen anywhere else or any other competitor use and in my opinion makes it so much easier than having to faff about with codes and padlocks. Its as simple as a touch of a button on the app on your phone. They also have a spare unit that can be used as an overspill if needed which has helped me before in the past when having large deliveries not being able to fit in the unit for that specific week. This of course is another great gesture from the staff by letting me use this as an option when needed. I think they are lovely people who genuinely care about their customers. Would highly recommend!

It was very fortunate that I found Go Store when I was moving house. The staff have been very helpful and accommodating, and at a time when the transition of moving from one home to another is often fraught with problems, Go Store relieved much of the worry. We were moving house and everything had to go into storage as our new house wasn't ready. The team were helpful and gave advice regarding the size of storage required. Each time we called they were always very polite and helpful over the phone. On the day of the move it couldn't have been more simple. The process was easy and within no time I was set up. I can access the storage through a secure app on my phone, allowing me access to the doors and lifts. Very easy to use, and I could share the access easily with my wife. When the removal team arrived a member of the team were happy to let me leave, saving me a good 4 hours of waiting around. They called me when everything was packed in to say it had gone smoothly. Moving can be very stressful, but Go Store helped immensely. I would particularly like to thank Karen Bruce, as she was extremely helpful and took all the stress out of the situation. The lady I dealt with at the York store (Karen) genuinely could not have been more helpful or accommodating. She made it truly an “if Carlsberg did Storage” experience. Overall from what I gathered, a great facility manned by great staff. The ease of use of the service is managed well, with the app allowing access without any fuss. Storage is never going to be cheap but at least your stuff will be easily accessible and the staff are always trying to help not hinder. We are a York brand providing wellness products called Fortress Health (find us on Amazon) We use Go Store almost like our own warehouse facility and actually it works better than having a warehouse. WHY, well it is safe, very clean, dry and warm, and their team are amazing which is ideal for anyone storing quality products like us. The team even looked to save me money with my requirements in regards to the amount that I was storing they wanted to ensure that storage was of correct size. They stated that should I not require the 150 sq ft then they had plenty options to accommodate should I need to reduce my sqft. Everyone knows that moving house is 1 of the most stressful experiences, yet I was moving house whilst based in another country which added another level of stress (living in Republic of Ireland and trying to sell my house in York). When the completion date was confirmed, I had just over a fortnight to move my belongings into storage. I had requested quotes from other storage companies who some had requested that I physically meet them to discuss my needs (not v. helpful to me). Go Store Self Storage was superb; from the 3D clips online to roughly working out how much space I required, followed up with a call from Jamie the manager, all my queries were answered and I felt at complete ease and in safe hands. The entire team; Karen, Harry and Jamie were very friendly and even better when I managed to save money from downsizing to a smaller unit as I had over-calculated the original space required. What can I say about this storage unit. From the first day I enquired about a storage unit Jamie and his team have been absolutely fantastic. The facility has units of various size and I was only encouraged to take the size of unit I needed and not over sold a larger unit. I was informed that should I need to I can upgrade to a larger unit at any time. The whole place is both spotlessly clean and very secure. During lockdown I had to move somethings to my unit and Jamie was able to open the gates remotely from home allowing me to move the things I needed to without seeing anyone. I would have no hesitation in recommending this particular business for all your storage problems and needs.

My experience with GoStore York has been pretty faultless so far. Getting a quote was straightforward and they price matched a quote I had got from another company. Moving my belongings into the unit was easy and the free van hire was a godsend that day! I was impressed with the facility itself and because overall access is controlled via a secure app I was able to give my parents access after I had moved away, which is really handy. It also helps that I know the area around the facility is very safe, so I have no worries. Assuming the move out process is as smooth as the move in process, I would gladly recommend GoStore York to anyone. My top tips would be to: - Read the emails carefully and bring all the requested documentation with you when you move your stuff in. If you're prepared it makes the whole process very smooth and hassle-free. - Make use of the free van if you need it (you only pay a deposit + fuel). - Bring your own padlock for your unit if you already own one. - Arrange your own self-storage insurance separately if you can, as specialist insurers offer it quite cheaply.
