What a fantastic idea. I was moving house and the team at the York branch made the storage the most stress free part of my move, by a long way! I had rung some other places but they were a bit pushy. Jess just made it really easy and it felt like she was more bothered about getting things sorted for me than anything else. Well priced, efficient, friendly, professional, I really can't say enough good things about the team and company. I would never use any other storage company but McCarthys. Thanks again guys.

Excellent service from start to finish. We had to move our moving in date due to the house not being ready which was no problem with the team. Natasha and Jess were very accommodating in every aspect, making the whole process hassle free. Honestly, the best customer service I have received anywhere in years!! Highly recommended!

We needed storage in York as we were moving house and from the very start, Jess and Colette have been amazing. Their attention to detail and outstanding customer service is clear to see. No matter the request, they have been happy to help and are always on hand if we have any questions. As for the storage, it is clean, light and safe. With CCTV, a personal code to get in and out, as well padlocks for the doors to the unit, I feel happy that our belongings are being well looked after. We chose to add the out of hours access to our storage package, and even this was easy to organise. Nothing is too much for McCarthy's who go out of their way to make sure you are well looked after. If you are looking for storage in York, I would highly recommend McCarthy's.

Excellent team , very helpful and patient as my belongings, which were coming from Australia, were repeatedly delayed. No problem to the guys at all, they waited and communicated with me as required. This was really important and underpins their professional approach to customers. Great advice on the size of storage required.Top service and a really clean facility meaning my belongings arrived and were transferred safely into the storage locker.

Penny and Jess were so helpful in sorting out a storage unit for me so quickly when my house sale fell through. I cant believe how much they were prepared to help to make things so simple. I was apprehensive about using storage as I didn't know what to expect but it was all so clean and bright and I felt so relieved that all of my possessions were in a clean and dry unit. Based on the other Google reviews I decided to give this place a try as I needed to store things from the house whilst we get an extension done. The reviews are spot on. Jess booked me a room and Chris did the paperwork. The building is spotlessly clean and although they aren’t the cheapest, I think they offer the best service and value.

Fantastic and helpful staff! Natasha helped us get our unit in no time, would highly recommend

I am using this facility to store our belongings as we move house. The facility is very clean, easy access, and well laid out. These positives are only surpassed by Wendi and the team who are extremely helpful, always with a smile and nice word. Try them- they’ll certainly give the older more established facilities a run for their money, and McCarthy's add some professionalism to storage in York.
