First time up and around here.... Fab place to visit and walk around....views are great..... And came across an historical dig by Cadw ...and fair play the people digging were more than happy to talk about what they were doing.

Well worth the trek
It a short walk about ½ a mile to the monument, it is quite steep in places, but well worth it when you get to the top, stunning views.

An amazing view but please only attempt if you are fairly fit

There are several steep but easy walks to the monument at the top of the hill and it has a beautiful view of the area from the top. There is very little evidence of the iron age fort construction around the hill although I wonder if the ancient building remains were used to construct the monument? Iron age people living on the hill would have had a complete view of everything!

Fantastic view , worth the steep but short walk

Absolutely superb views and walk from the housing estate up the mountain to the fort. You can walk to the marina afterwards. Hard but great

Beautiful monument and site to visit if you enjoy good walk with spectacular views both North and South along the Welsh coast.

A gentle walk up which provides spectacular views over Aberystwyth and the Welsh coast line, especially during sunset.

Amazing walk. Brilliant views and wildlife

Beautiful View, but bring your coat!
The view from up here is simply sublime. At night you can see the stars from up here really clearly too. However due to the high altitude and lack of forestation up on the hill fort it can get very windy, so bring your coat if you want to stay warm.

Love this place. We go paragliding from pen Dinas.
Along the coast from llanrusted to Borth.

On a clear sunny day the view is brilliant and the tourist paths are not crowded and lets say they are quiet for a good relaxing walk.

Lovely destination to walk on a nice day. The walk offers many lovely places to take photographs. Suitable to bring dogs on walks or to bring a group of friends. Can be muddy on a wet day however. Highly recommended place to visit when in Aberystwyth.

Firstly google took me to a housing estate, and I walked up from there, it looks like you can park towards the sea and that's the official route. I've seen this tower every time I visit aberystwyth and I'm glad I climbed to see the view. Not what I was expecting you can't see the town itself just the harbour. Loads of dog muck on the path I went up. Good view of the sea.

Relatively easy walk up to the summit with part of the footpath graded. Great panoramic views along the way. Wellington's memorial takes pride of place at the top.

Well worth the walk for the beautiful views, fresh air and the peace. I prefer to do the circular route - up via the felin y mor path and back down the other side to trefechan. It can get muddy if there's been a lot of rain.
M. C.
Beautiful views in all directions. Challenging walk (depending on which path you take) but worth it.

stunning views on a clear day views from Pembrokeshire to Snowdon if you're lucky. watch the edges and wind gust if you have little ones . lots of un even ground for those less able on their feet thanks to the previous occupants thoughtless constructions in previous generations ;)

This is an excellent British (Brythonic) hill fort that predated the Roman invasion. Probably settled by the Defed “tribe” (kingdom) that the Romans called the Demetae. Or possibly the Arllechwyddon (Ordovices to the Romans). Beautiful views

A great viewpoint on a clear day.

A nice walk to the top, some routes not appropriate for wheels such as pushchairs or wheelchairs. Great views of land and sea.

Aberystwyth's beautiful twin sister Hill. The views from here are better than Constitution, there is a greater sense of peace also if you climb from the south and gaze upon the purple gorse framed against a blue sky on a late summer evening with a lazy jet streaking across the sky, this is what dreams are made of, and this is the hill to make such dreams upon...
Oh I miss your purple gorse and craggy paths

Apart from the first 60 yards, lovely gentle climb to the top , sunny day , amazing views
j. c.
The views were wonderful. Hard climb up for unfit 50 something!
D. C.
Much improved pathways, thanks to efforts of Ceredigion County Council. All they need to do now is make sure they look after their famous music service which is indeed threat of decimation.
