Magnificent memorial in perfect location. Even if not the highest in the area, this spot offers stunning views in all directions making it my favourite place in Aber. There is plenty of space to sit down and relax in the sun while admiring the sea.

One of (if not THE) most recognisable memorials in the area and probably Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🪖Erected for those fallen in the WW1 and WW2 with the multitude of names etched on the base of it. It's located in the 🏰 castle grounds that are said to be an inspiration for the monument.

Beautiful war memorial next to the old fort with 360 degree views. The entire Castle Grounds are probably the best place for a visit in Aberystwyth. We had cloudy and windy weather and still enjoyed our time there.

A beautiful statue dedicated to those that died and fought during world war one and world war two. It is near the site of the castle and has a view of all of Aberystwyth sea front.
