Phenomenal Space. Paying respect to those who served in the Korean war. The Grounds have 1,114 native Scottish trees planted, one for every man who died. Memorial building with soldiers names on it. Lots of benches around for reflective moments. Patches of grass for picnics. Great place for dogs. This place is so peaceful and truly a gem for visiting. Paved pathways for wheelchairs and buggies. More difficult paths and terrain for medium hikers (as the down wall can impact the knees). Truly spectacular views when at the top. Car park closes at 3:30pm in the winter and 6:30pm in the summer. Slip to the side of main entrance that can fix 8 cars for out of parking hours. Side pedestrian gate is open 24hours.

A beautiful memorial, with a lovely walk round about. If you climb to the top there are beautiful views, because when walk through one of the trails as it leads straight into a burn/marsh - looks like has caught a few people out including myself, so if you don’t fancy being ankle deep in mud keep your wits about yourself

Absolutely stunning little place to clear the head and go for a walk. The paths in and around the memorial have just been renovated making it even easier to get to on foot.

Attended todays small Armistice parade.....beautiful memorial to Korean War veterans....shameful West Lothian council does not unchain the gates to carpark for this special occasion.
