This is the first time I have used Haydn. His work is outstanding I have been in the antique business for over 40 years and for sure he is one of the best restorers I have used. Museum standard. Workmanship. Very hard to find in this day and age. Could not recommend him higher.

A removals firm damaged some of my Ash, Mahogany, Pine and Oak antique furniture pieces - I was devastated! But HC restorations came to the rescue , and carried out repairs and French polishing with such skill & artistry, my pieces are looking great now. The repairs are outstanding craftsmanship. The service was also really professional with excellent communication - clearly setting out what could be achieved and what the costs would be. The costs were also very reasonable for such skilled work. I would not hesitate in recommending for anyone with furniture to repair & restore.

We accidentally damaged our oak veneer dining table with a hot drink, Haydn made a superb job of returning it to its original condition. We have no idea where the original damage was. I contacted Haydn to have a old chest that was in very poor condition restored. The chest was of sentimental value and had been in the family for years. After sending a video and pictures of the chest Haydn responded quickly and took the time to explain the options, issues that might arise and most importantly to manage my expectation. he was very clear what could be possible, what challenges could come up and how they could be addressed. After agreeing a reasonable price Hayden collected the chest and sent photos showing the progress before delivering it back. The final bill was less than I had expected and the finished result far exceeded my expectations. I call this good old fashioned service. In addition to this Haydn is just a really nice guy to deal with.
