The well-kept building with a well-maintained exhibition. The village was visited as part of a trip to John Bunyan's places, in my understanding, it was used for administrative purposes and then, apparently like shops, the meeting room is located on the second floor. By and large, there is not much to look at the exposition, but in total, it leaves a pleasant impression. Also you can get a tour from a quite knowledgeable creator which gives you a better understanding why you're there.

A true historical gem, whether local history or a particular interest in the life of #johnbunyan ,#moothall is a must go to. I personally was there in the evening on a private #paranormal #investigation. A fascinating evening & place I will definitely be returning.

Absolutely fantastic place to visit, the building has so much history attached to it. I went as part of a ghost hunting team as the venue hosts these. Clive, the curator is the fountain of all knowledge, and a fabulous guy. Cheers Clive 👍

Took over 20 years to step inside this museum on my doorstep. Now feel very informed and wish I'd done so sooner. Little gem and hope it has a long term future

Good visit, opening hours are limited to seasons. Great for some local history knowledge but could do better. Not a good place for kids to visit...get bored quickly here. Very close to a church that is a much more exciting visit for the whole family.
Still an important site & nice that it's been preserved.

The history of John Bunyan laid out and the history of the building itself. Set on a nice peaceful village green next to a church with a separate tower and ruins of an old Abbey Close by, the whole village is well worth a visit planned round Moot Hall.

Big props to the Curator who is a kind and informative man. Paired with this, the history of the place and the links with it were fascinating and while the place is small, it packs a lot of history and interesting things in there that could leave you wandering in there for hours!

Home of the council John Bunyan attended, set in a lovely country setting with Elstow Abby next door... my local dog walking area.
