G. t. D.Wow this place really made me sad to hear the stories. I went with taxi guides (best way to get the experience) and they told the insanity of The Troubles. It's a must visit if in Belfast, but take a guide if you have no real context.
B. R.A somber place that reminds us the futility of any form of aggression and fighting. Here is the memorial to the countless people who sacrificed their lives in the struggle against the British.
How much was gained by that loss of life is open to debate. But if you are in Belfast this place should be on your list of places to visit.
When we were there it was raining and that did rob us of the pleasure of the taxi ride to and from the Stormont hotel.
A. (.If you're not Irish, these places will resonate less intensely with you. Let them serve as an admonition against inhumanity and as a salve to the wounds caused to those who lost friends and relatives and a fitting remembrance of those killed.
z.Spectacular memorial
o. o.(Translated) The memorial garden is medium in size, divided into three connecting sections; surrounded by walls, railings and three metal gates. In the central part there is a large Celtic cross on a pedestal, a large plaque attached to the wall, and four flags. The side sections contain plaques and memorial benches to IRA members, ex-prisoners, political activists and civilians from the Clonard area. Numerous plaques with inscriptions.

Мемориальный сад среднего размера, разделенный на три соединяющихся участка; окружен стенами, перилами и тремя металлическими воротами. В центральной части находится большой кельтский крест на постаменте, большая мемориальная доска, прикрепленная к стене, и четыре флага. В боковых секциях размещены мемориальные доски и мемориальные скамейки членам ИРА, бывшим заключенным, политическим активистам и гражданским лицам из района Клонард. Многочисленные таблички с надписями.
