Reviews of Public Record Office of Northern Ireland
Very helpful staff. To be honest I had no idea where to start looking for historical records, and they helped a lot. On first entry you need ID to obtain the security card to access the site - which was unexpected, but a straight forward process.
Eugene was very compassionate and kind when working with my 82 father, as we traveled from the US to discover our Irish heritage. He went above and beyond to assist us on our journey
I am looking forward to another visit to PRONI, I have only been once before and found that the staff were absolutely brilliant, very helpful and took a real interest in helping me retrieve the information I needed for my project! Big Thank you!
Visited yesterday and found all the staff very friendly and helpful especially the two ladies in the records department who were not only helpful but also showed great patience. Much appreciated, thank you.
Interesting place full of interesting information!
A wonderful place for historic records and it also hosts events from time to time. Lots of details about old NI and the people who lived here.
Its a brilliant place to start researching your family history.
