Reviews of The MAC
B. B. l.
A beautiful venue with impressive facilities a d lots of space! We went to see the Neil Young show and had a brilliant night :) the staff are always very nice and helpful and the bar has a great range of drinks and snacks! Always a lovely experience :)

Great public building in the centre of Belfast. Visited while remote working and enjoyed a day spent in the cafe. Super friendly staff (Feargal in particular was really great). Highly recommend both the coffee and the lunch menu.
G. K.
Great place. Staff were friendly and helpful and the cafe served really good coffee and food - we were killing time before leaving Belfast and it was a great place to do so. Ended up having lunch because the food looked so nice - and we weren't disappointed. Better value than a lot of eating places in Belfast too. Recommend a visit.
J. B.
Excellent arts centre near St Anne's Cathedral in Belfast. Marvellous place for art exhibitions, theatre or just relaxing in the cafe.
J.
What an amazing experience in an incredible building. The MAC is a place everyone needs to see. Parking is easy in the nearby multistory car park at St. Anne's. Wheelchair accessible with great facilities. Staff were very helpful and friendly. For at the cafe was delicious. Thank you all for a wonderful day.
P. -.
FREE Contempory Art Gallery always interesting while some exhibitions may confuse or baffle some it is worth being open to considering how different artist present things. Also good little cafe good place for a break when in city.
H. C.
An Arts Centre with great Art exhibitions. and wonderful Music events in their theatre area. It also has a creative family play room for younger kids. Their Cafe is excellent too.
M. T.
We had a fantastic evening at The MAC Theatre with family. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Fiddler on The Roof, amazing production! The theatre is relatively small & there's really not a bad seat in the house. Conveniently located in the Cathedral district of Belfast, with great restaurants and 24hr multi-story car park in the immediate area.
J. M.
This place is a wow. Such a helpful friendly receptionist great space to meet friends and have a bite to eat including vegetarians in fact they had a way better menu than some of the top restaurants for veggies.
The Ron Mueck exhibition there until 5th November is mind blowing you expect the sculptures to move they are so life like it can be scary to the point "the woman just given birth' sculpture I just couldn't look it felt like I was intruding!! Go see it don't miss it, it's the first time here for this amazing artist and then head down to basement gallery to see how IT was born. Wheelchair accessible and FREE so don't miss it. And a shout out to the member of staff on Sunday who knew we were struggling to get a good selfie, you are the best
M. R.
Cool little gallery and cafe. The food was also really good.
M. G.
Really cool museum and the Ron Mueck exhibition was amazing.
H. M.
We were meeting up with some long lost Canadian relatives and chose here .
Great idea!!
Relaxed , friendly atmosphere , bright and spacious .
Lovely coffee and sweet treats.
T. P.
The best museum in Belfast. State of the art facility which includes a trendy coffe spot and big exhibition space. I had the chance to see the Ron Mueck exhibition and will definitely recommend!
E. O.
Saw the Ron Mueck exhibition here. It stayed with me for days afterwards. Great art free to the public. Every city should have a MAC.
T. C.
I’ve attended The MAC on a number of occasions both socially and for business and have always been impressed by the standard of service, helpfulness of the staff and calibre of events on in the building. I’ve given it 4 stars only because it’s not my favourite piece of architecture in the city.
I also recently attended the MAC for an amateur production of High School Musical by New Lodge Arts and I was very impressed with the price, production and young cast, I’ll definitely be going back for another amateur production.
K. K.
Could not recommend more. I enjoy going to the exhibitions by myself and taking it all in, as well as having a coffee here on my lunch break.
M. N.
Went to see REHARVEST play Neil Young songs. Not a bad crowd for such an intimate venue on a Thursday night. The group were superb. Nice to see The MAC bringing back live entertainment during the week. The bar was busy and everywhere was spotless. Masks were still the norm but not many bothered. Would definitely be back for a concert like that.
A. G.
Excellent cafe space and quiet location. Found this place by accident instead of established coffee and it was too busy. I’m so glad I stumbled here because the staff are brilliant and log list of food choices too!
D. G.
This is a must when visiting Belfast. Not my first time here, and this time I was only in Belfast for a couple of days, but managed to squeeze in two visits. Delighted to managed to get a booth and have food. I'll be back...
A. B.
First time. Watched an amateur production of Fiddler on the Roof; very professionally done. A very enjoyable experience and The MAC was a great venue 👍🙂
A. W.
When in Belfast, absolutely *do not miss* the MAC. Great atmosphere, lovely cafe with excellent food, top-notch exhibitions, friendly staff. Highly recommended!
A. C.
Fantastic as always. Brilliant staff and an immaculate venue. The best place to experience the Arts in Belfast.
M. C. A.
This space though... Spectacular. I love it. Was performing at the Alliance for Choice conference. Love Love Love. The food is really good
M. M.
A beautiful contemporary space, and the new Luminaire hall is a great addition. They have some superb acts lined up so I, for one, look forward to returning.
C. G.
Amazing art. Great choice and cakes. Altogether a good space!
C. Q.
I always go there after church for brunch, I always get good food and the staff are lovely.
The Mac also holds events such as gigs, conferences etc which can be ticketed, however I haven't been to such an event in the Mac. Just the cafe / restaurant.
H. R.
Love this place, always plenty to do and great productions. Definitely worth a visit!
C. M.
Last time here was pre Covid. Great to see it busy again. Sculptor exhibition was amazing. All staff friendly and informative.
C. L.
It was first time visiting the MAC had to use Google map to find where it was because I didn't know where it was in Belfast lucky it was easier to get to than I thought. The staff was very friendly and helpful it had a cosy family atmosphere there is also a cafe in the MAC as well. I had a nice time here and play was very good would go back again.
K. T.
Great theatre in the City centre. Friendly staff, modern facilities and they put on a great show.
J. K. R.
Most of the Art there is actually very mediocre, I enjoyed a few shows and the layout and the common room but some artists are just not good...
H. C.
Great exhibition space, very informed and helpful staff.
M. T.
The MAC is a wonderful asset to Belfast. Brilliant galleries and a great place to eat.
M. B.
A lovely place to see a show. There is no bad seat! There is a bar, lots of seating for drinks or food and the staff are friendly and helpful.
A. C.
It is a great venue. However I don't like the fact that the current exhibition will be in all three galleries for the next three months. We need a bit of variety and a quick turnover. We also need to have more Irish artists on display.
J. F.
Lovely wee theatre, you feel like your almost part of the show.

I'm a big fan of Art and the MAC delivers on all levels... Also my young daughter loves the family room. Well done guys!!
C.
The Mac is fantastic location to experience the amazing plays from local writers, Directors & Actor's. The intimate setting really allows you drawn into the show's. Well worth a vist folks.
R. M.
First visit was to see the Gilbert & George exhibition. Warm and friendly, well designed and laid out. Coffee and alcoholic drinks available.
It's great to be able to step in the door and be immediately transported away from the hustle and bustle... a perfect environment to unwind and recharge.
Friendly, helpful and genuinely engaged staff who were willing to answer questions on the exhibition I was visiting.
All this with no entrance fee which only compels you to leave a generous donation.
The only negative is that it does tend to attract tedious laptop (usually of the apple variety) table-hogs in the cafe / bar areas.
L. M.
Great theatre, lovely team in all areas who really looked after the young dancers and made them feel very welcome!
P. W.
This is a bigger gallery than might seem to possibly fit the footprint. I like it. Good spaces and a history of decent exhibitions.
Sad to see so few visitors at such a generous and representative selection of Alfred Wallis; a significant figure in modernism, bang up to date with his personal, authentic, expressionist responses to a long life on or at the sea. Thanks MAC.
T. W.
Only my second time in The Mac. Loved every moment of it. What pleasant and helpful staff.
A. S.
Update! I went to The Untold Truth About Captain Hook last night. It's a great show, a real change from the big in your face pantos, sweet and Christmassy. The auditorium felt very covid safe, and the sraff were checking covid status on the door. Great experience. Love it.
Great venue. I watched Bouncers last night, seated in the Luminaire Club section. Brilliant show, and these are super seats. Highly recommended.
M. M.
When to see the ron mueck display work trip food can be bought here to tea is awesome
A. C.
Lovely theatre.
M. F.
Loved the place. I was here for a workshop. The christmas tree was amazing and creative.
B. D.
Nice place.great show.highly recommend Lockdown DLA
K. H.
Great (& free) exhibitions and a quiet cafe at the MAC. Staff are friendly. The current show, the fragmented mind, explores “the issue of mental health through the work of multiple artists”.
L. J.
I visited the Mac with my parents to see the art exhibition Gilbert and George , Scapegoating Pictures. I was not overly taken with the exhibition but the Mac is a great space for the arts and I would love to go again for a play.
S. G.
Stunning art centre. We visited briefly for a browse, would’ve had a tea if known how nice the cafe is!
E. G.
Beautiful place to write, eat, have a coffee or see some art.
J. M.
I guess the place is mainly a performing art centre but I visited the art exhibitions they also run, the main one being a primitive artist
E. B.
Really moving pieces from the mental health awareness week, very talented artists.
S. D. V.
Fantastic space. Always something cultural going on.
D. D.
Brilliant gallery and very child friendly
E. H.
Lovely venue, great atmosphere. We won tickets to see The Untold Story of Hook. Took the kids and they loved it too
B.
Great looking art museum. It’s free admission and they have some fantastic exhibitions at the moment. Not a huge amount to see, you could see it all in 30minutes.
M. C.
Very informal and easy going place. Theatre itself lovely and seating excellent.
L. C.
Went in for Moek's artwork display. It's been fantastic!
R. O. d.
Lovely building. Good parking lot on site. Easy on and off motorway provided you Google map it or know what the hell your doing.
Seen pantomime in downstairs arena but we were on balcony in the middle.small arena. Show was good. Free headphones to help dampen noise for kids came in handy. I would have loved to have stayed and had food or just coffee but we had to go.
If I didn't have kids I could see this being a place worth going more often. That being said...there's a kid friendly area on the ground floor. Also girl said to me that's works there, " floor 6 (I think she said 6) there's another kids area and the panto is on TV in there so if you had to leave to take kid out of show you in theory would still see the show. I know it's not the same but good idea.
Loved the 'feel' you get being in a place like the MAC. Hard to describe but you are definitely glad a place like this exists. You don't have to be 'into art's to appreciate it
J. P.
Brilliant space. I wish there were more visiting exhibitions- I'd be on be in even more often as those that come are always high quality. The gallery spaces are really varied and offer lots of options for display. The two theatre venues are under used but again always offer interesting, exciting and occasionally edgy challenging work. I love the programming at this venue and just wish they had more funding to offer even more. It's worth popping in for a coffee. I have meetings here and there are loads of nooks and crannies. The workshop spaces are first rate and I always appreciate how amazing the staff are when we work here. There are regular drop in and bookable children's events and there is a wonderful kids area with art books, art materials and funky toys to play with. I love how the education and kids stuff ties in with the gallery. Miss
N. M. A.
My first visit to the Mac Theater very impressed. Serving coffee and snacks and alachol. Seating in the downstairs theater very comfortable with leg room. Very friendly staff all with a smile on their faces. It was a pleasure to visit and very surprised to find they had a baby changing toilet with well stocked trays filled with nappies and wipes and also a very impressive kids play area.. Well worth a visit.
D. B.
Love this place, always interesting exhibits and installations and the food is great. Can't beat the scones. Family events are fab but you need to book early because they sell out-Halloween baby/ toddler events are particularly good
J. K.
It was my first time visiting this theatre in Belfast and I was very impressed. I saw The World Goes Round and the cast and musicians were so very talented. The theatre itself was clean and comfortable and pretty funky. Staff were friendly and helpful and the wine was lovely and reasonably priced.
L. F.
Bit of an odd layout in this one. There are lots of stairs to tackle, though there are lifts if you need them. The art work itself was good. Staff were incredibly helpful and really informative about the work itself. All of the staff took time to explain to us where the different galleries.
There is a café downstairs which was decent.
F. K.
Brilliant. We had a great time. Very lively place and plenty for everyone to enjoy. The Audience really enjoyed the show and gave a standing ovation to the cast. I would say a great night was had by everyone.
C. a. M.
Great exhibition, and great staff.
Y. C.
Lovely theatre. It's great that the rows of seats are layered so you have a clear view of the stage. Very comfortable. There is also a bar and lots of alcoves and chairs and tables to sit at.
L. C.
Amazing use of space, sound, and host to a really eye-and-ear popping exhibition from Frances Hegarty & Andrew Stones. Our little one slept the whole time but the family space and family activities calendar looked great. The cafe had top coffee to boot!
F. N.
A bit of a hidden gem, well worth a visit. Staff are friendly and happy to help, the exhibitions have been great when I’ve popped in and there is a children’s room and a great cafe too. Brilliant place to spend a few hours in central Belfast.
R. C.
Just been to a concert by the Gertrude star flute band amazing, from everyone in the mac was helpful and kind.
M. M.
Good conference venue with friendly staff
M. H.
We called in to see two of their current exhibitions. We started out in the cafe, which gives good service at reasonable prices, before climbing all the stairs to the two galleries we wanted to see. The gallery attendants were as helpful as ever and can be relied upon for useful information.
I'd recommend keeping an eye on the Mac's website to see what is coming up.
J. W.
Great building, friendly staff
T. M.
Nothing special although when ordering staff was very rude and constantly ignored you and continued with their conversation with other staff. I bought a caramel square, worst £2.50 I've ever spent, although it looked amazing it tasted horrible. Nice place to sit down and have a coffee though
T. H.
I love the MAC. It's the perfect place for coffee and scones (the jam is second to none), the staff are very friendly, you can hang out as long as you like, the free family room is brilliant (so says my one-year-old) and the shows I've seen there have been great. One of the best places in Belfast.
D. H.
If you love concrete you'll love the atmosphere of this place. Well designed throughout. Exhibitions can be hit or miss, however there's usually enough variety to please everyone. Great restaurant and bar as well. Glad to see Belfast finally getting places like this and being successful. Definitely a place to visit if you're a tourist, or even a local.
J. G.
Great gallery and restaurant. Current exhibition David Hockney - I draw, I do
S. T.
Very impressive modern facility. First time I've been there. Took kids to see 'Hansel and Gretel'. Musical rather than pantomime. But cast were impressive. Not quite what kids were expecting but they enjoyed it.
J. S.
Has always been a lovely venue. Now extremely well set up in terms of covid safety, feels very safe and welcoming!
L. O.
Quite an interesting place with a great atmosphere. Good option for leisure + free :)
K. O. R.
Brilliant Brilliant nice lots of laughs and tears great night out
J. D.
Lovely experience, we went as a party of 16 - 8 adults & 8 children... facilities were all very clean. It was a lovely family day out .we parked in st Anne's carpark, which was very handy..
G. M.
Nice theatre. Seats well laid out. Refreshments available in lobby. If you get chance go to showing of "Tell me sweet little lies." Musical play based on era of Belfast showbands
K. W.
Amazing exhibition by Ron Muek.
D. J.
Food and service are excellent, fantastic cup of coffee
G. H.
Thanks. Took 21 men for tea/ coffee and scones. Arrangements exactly as we had arranged. Scones really good. Tea and coffee excellent. Manager and staff most welcoming and attentive .
Would we make a return visit? Yes
C. F.
I’ve been here for many events, concerts, dance performances, awards, Art exhibitions and dinners.
With the exception of the dinner I’ve never been let down. As a place for events it’s a great venue.
The dinner was let down by poor service and a not very comfortable setting, it feels as though you’re in a thoroughfare, and lacks as a result.
A. W.
Excellent choice for Mothers Day. Classy piano bar. Delicious brunch and endless prosecco! Wots not to like? Was a lovely wee treat and great idea. Really enjoyed it!
a. h.
Nice general art place. Very diverse exhibitions, concerts, plans... Very affordable and open to all public. The only issue is the service in the bar/restaurant waiters must learn the products that are in the menu including the kind of beers.
K. G.
Get wee spot for a coffee. Fantastic helpful staff.
T. A.
Visited the Mac tonight to see Minding Frankie. It was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Brilliantly adapted for the stage and a great performance from both actors .
They made me laugh and also brought tears to my eyes in parts. All staff as per usual friendly and helpful and I look foward to my next visit in September for Under the Hawthorn Tree.
C. C.
Attended a brilliant breakfast seminar here hosted by 4c and LoudMouth Media presenting Google as the main speaker. Was a great morning and the presentation space was spot-on. My only gripe, the heat in the breakfast lobby was stifling; though the room we attended the seminar in was cool and comfortable. That’s my only reason for 4/5, otherwise it’d be 5 stars.
K. W.
The Mac is one of Belfast's best arts facilities. You can lunch here, have a meeting, visit excellent exhibitions or enjoy the cafe. The architecture alone is worth a visit and its a wonderful playground to explore. There are two theatres, resident arts companies, studios, rehearsals spaces, a children's creche area and meeting facilities and lockers for your stay if you want to spend time enjoying the visual art galleries. The Arts Centre was over 20 years in the planning and well worth the wait. I often visit here to have business meetings, it is a very relaxed and plenty of quiet spaces to work uninterrupted with great coffee and lunch facilities and FREE WIFI .....
I am an unashamed apple mac user 'table hog' (see review below) but that is what the building is designed for so that it is interactive and accommodating. The arts should never be preserved in aspic in a clinical untouchable environment and the Mac perfectly combines a social space with excellent arts.
D. W.
1st time at The Mac, very impressed, apart from the long queue for the coffee bar! More staff could have made a difference. The show, 'The Greatest Show', was spectacular, a great buzz, left wanting more.
M. B.
Amazing arts venue in St Anne's square. Really interesting exterior and the interior is just as good. Hosts lots of theatre, arts events and evening events. Has a cafe/bar too if you just want to go in and have a look.
D. M.
It's a beautiful building, a wee gem in cathedral quarter. The cafe is great and the shows are magnificent, with really friendly and helpful staff. I love going there to see plays and art exhibitions
K. M.
A very good venue. been a few times each time very impressed with what art exhibitions they have on.
f. m.
Absolutely brilliant show was great seen sister act 2day (07:09:19) will definitely be back big well done to all in show use were fantastic xx
B. E.
Great place altogether.
C. N.
The MAC is a fantastic venue. The productions are always entertaining and of the highest quality. Excellent for families. Nice restaurant too! Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. Can't recommend enough!
J. B.
We were in The Luminaire Club in The Mac this evening for The World Goes Round. Fantastic jazz/cabaret club setting. Something very different for a night out in Belfast. What a talented group of performers too. They were simply stunning. Well done The Mac for bringing us such a treat.
D.
Had great fun going to see a show. Good seating layout and comfortable too. Bit of a wait for loo during break! Would recommend the place though.
m. m. m.
I was waiting for my daughter to finish her audition and I have to stay around even after I have finished eating. The staff never rushed me or let me feel awkward for staying there. (they weren't busy so that helped too, I guess.)
C. M.
Beautiful and interesting artistic exhibitions on the top floor. Bar/cafe space on lower floors a nice, quiet atmosphere perfect for relaxation or catching up on some work.
E. C.
Went for a show. Love going here. Nice for coffee or tea. Comfortable even if you are on your own. Staff friendly. Been to shows there as well.
J. C.
The seats are comfortable. The play was superb as was all the cast. Abigails party was well staged including the music and adverts before setting the scene excellently.
R. N.
Lovely free exhibits in a wonderful building. Great to walk around and admire the actual building work as much as the art on show. An impressive amount of toilets in there as well.
M. f.
Great space. And loads of activity for kids on the Saturday we visited, probably regular events. The exhibition MAC International 2018 was a bit avantgarde for me, though the video in the basement by Invernomuto was quite beautiful.
C. B.
Go to The MAC regularly, either just to eat or for their event evenings. Always have a great time and their staff are very friendly. It's nice that it's situated in a square with other bars and restaurants so you've a good choice of places to go to before or after an event.
B. S.
The gallery is in a up-and-coming part of the city, in the Cathedral Quarter. It hosts many works of art, and it's a place to relax away from the bustle of the city in contemporary surroundings.
Dining options are available and the building offers free wifi.
b. b.
Seen the play The Hawthorne Tree on Sunday 7th October with daughter .Just a great play and venue with friendly and helpful staff . Really enjoyed the experience I will be back again hopefully soon.
s. d.
Belfast's largest Arts offering under one roof. Theatre spaces offering something a bit more eclectic than the Opera House or the Lyric, performance studios and Art galleries combine with a spacious cafe / bar serving good coffee in a convivial atmosphere.
B. C.
Really enjoyed our first visit. Well organised and lovely inside. The show was very funny..Fairytale of the New Lodge...will definitely be back.
J. R.
Brilliant art center - very New York-ish. A surprise for NI. The host a large range of theatre, performances, contemporary dance, art exhibitions and even Mindfulness retreats! 5 stars for best cultural institution in NI!
C. C.
Brilliant seats all throughout the theater. Amazing helpful staff. Great night out and good value. Definitely worth a visit x
A.
Lovely building with lots of Arty things to see. Hope to return to see one of their shows in the very near future. Easy to get to from the motorway which is always handy.
M. M.
Brilliant place staff lovely very helpful kids are welcome and covid rules followed
S. P.
Cozy place, nice food
J. R.
Great coffee here in NATIVE- the restaurant- which is worth visiting even if you aren't attending a show. Food hasn't disappointed either- definitely a higher standard than expected and worthy of a high recommendation.
R. H.
A local theatre in belfast, puts on some brilliant shows at a very reasonable price. You can come here for lunch etc too. Lovely place. Would definitely recommend.
P. 1.
A great contemporary art space in the heart of Belfast just behind the Cathedral Exhibitions vary according to different tastes but always interesting Also a good place for coffee and cake or something more substantial
C. S.
Like stopping in for hot chocolate with marshmallows, the MAC don't skimp on the marshmallows which is so tasty.
L. B.
A wonderful artistic space in the heart of the city
G. M.
Surely the crown jewel of the Cathedral Quarter. Have been for breakfast numerous times at the monthly NI Humanist's brunch. Definitely a go-to spot for culture vultures with a full programme of arts and theatre events.
s.
Great children's craft area.
I. P.
Cracking facility. Lovely cafe (if you like avocados). Like all modern art venues sometimes the exhibitions can be good, sometimes pretentious tosh. Eye of the beholder and all that.
S. S.
We were there to watch Elf and shoemaker tonight and we were amazed , loved the act and the set up , we been going to Mac for very long time and always have fun !! Great place to spend with family.
S. G.
An amazing resource in Belfast, staff member wilhelmena is so helpful and considerate. Very good family room, excellent for children.
T. H.
A Great place to go see something different and art related with good events for all ages. Service in the cafe can be slow on busy days but the product is good and the staff are friendly.
S. /. f.
Good contemporary art gallery, well maintained and curated but it would be good to see more work by artists from Ireland and not so much from halfway around the globe, which it has been last few times I've visited this year.
C. N.
I enjoyed it very much! High quality and professionally fine exhibitions. Irish artists or those with Irish connection. Also very good cafeteria. Highly recommend
H. W.
Good management.safe. good workshop.space maybe needed windows opened afternoon.
V. H.
Had a lovely treat with my friend First time there really enjoyed the night Lovely theatre and handy to have a drink and relax Highly recommend
w. t. w.
Lovely art on show, could have more there but I suppose COVID has killed art exhibitions for the time being.
J. O.
Lovely coffee and fab baby changing facilities- including nappies and wipes just in case you are caught out. Really value these kind of places when you have kids. Thanks
A. M.
Have just watched a fabulous play The Bouncers. ..Kieran Nolan is gifted. ..congratulations to the cast. ..five stars all the way.
J. B.
What an unusual menu! You'll find offerings here that you won't find elsewhere and they are all good. What a find.
D. B. W.
We saw "Rumpelstiltskin" Pantomime here at the end of 2015 and our kids loved it. They still sing some of the songs (5 months later)! "Bravo... Splendid... Carry on."
G. W.
really cool atmosphere and super nice staff,, had some vege/vegan things too,, will be back for coffee
S. S.
Wonderful facility in the heart of the cathedral quarter. Definitely worth a visit, check out what's going on and even have a delicious bite to eat.
L. M.
The Belfast girls was amazing I haven't lol
P. S.
Wonderful theatre that stages a broad range of productions. Interesting art exhibitions and a great cafe, open to anyone.
N. o. Y. b.
The wheelchair access is brilliant.
But the parking is expensive at £12!
K. B.
First time visiting but an enjoyable venue, the theatre we were in was small which meant you seen & heard the whole performance.
N. S.
Left my phone outside and an honest staff member kept it till I returned. Very happy
K. P.
Watched my daughter performing in Legally Blonde Jnr with Nismat. Very welcoming lovely friendly atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend the Mac.
S. M.
Wonderful art collection.....
F. D.
Good Food Drinks packed theatre program throughout the year art galleries a good place to meet friends space to study centrally situated in Cathedral quarter near to fine bars restaurants and culture
D. W.
Luminaire was a perfect venue for the fabulous 'Bouncers'. Four multi talented actors in an incredibly funny and at times, very raw play.
N. M.
Impressive venue, with friendly staff. There is a kid friendly area as well as kid friendly shows. Would definitely recommend this experience.
U. M. G.
Great Easter hunt most see museum. Kids of all age's Carter for . Great location in the heart of Belfast
D. M.
Fantastic building, fantastic content. Native Cafe is quiet with an extensive beer menu for any interval you encounter.
I. G.
Lovely place and staff very friendly
C. W.
Great theatre but a stupid ticketing system that benefits those who have access to credit cards to snap up the best prices - really dumb when you go to see a show with the house only a third full - drop the prices 30 mins before guys and let poorer people get a look in!
T. N.
Had a great time at the Mac staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The surroundings fantastic look forward to going there again.
C. O.
Is it just me or has The Mac really gone downhill? Food and bar menu is a shadow of what it used to be and children's room is not as well stocked as it was.
A pity for Belfast
D. c.
Went to see Maggie feg run was good night. Mac is nice modern and clean. Bit expensive for drinks but overall it's a nice place
P. “. D.
Great place to relax , good food , free art galleries.
P. B.
Clean and modern venue, stylish interior, I quite enjoyed a comedy gig and pantonmime here, also took some English friends for a Jazz night
J. M. H.
