Mega cute and quant and important to respect our fisherman and the job they risk their lives to do.

A great space, to showcase your artwork right on Brightons seafront, there's been some amazing art on show over the years, it's always worth a look if you're passing as you never know what you could find next.

The place has a free entrance or you can give a donation. Its nice to take a look at the history presented here, good for kids but also adults. Its a small museum but a nice one, with the look and feel of an old ship. We enjoyed.

Nice place for a quick look in. It’s free entry so can’t complain. Lots of old boats and anchors and stuff. Fun for the kids and some interesting info and history here.

A history of Brighton fishing, and a,splendidly preserved fishing boat, plus other artifacts.
This is a small museum, but a must for anyone interested in our local fishing industry, now sadly in decline .

Yards from the beach. Easy access. Worth
a visit. Friendly staff. Refreshments nearby.

There's enough information here to keep you entertained for a little while, I expected it to be more on the larger side but it's free entry and a time killer if you wanted to know a little more about the history of the local.

A very small but informative museum in the heart of Brighton beach. This museum tells a story that would otherwise escape most tourists and even residents alike. Well worth a visit. It is free and only takes anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on how much you take in and read! Certainly I am glad I visited it.

A great way to spend anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on how much you take in. A well presented and informative museum. Very interesting and worth visiting. Some great anecdotes and history of Brighton's fishing past and conversion into a tourist town

Love it.
Quirky little museum off the beaten track. Just my thing. Very informative to a Canadian with no history about Brighton.

A delightful little museum on the seafront telling the history of fishing 🎣 in Brighton

As a local I often get visitors asking me what to do in Brighton and my answer is always the same... "The fishing museum". There is something to learn for everyone and I take away new knowledge each and every time I visit whether it’s for a quick 2 minute browse or an hour-long immersion. I wish the museum good health and hope for it to continue for another 25 years!

Excellent museum to spend some time in learning all about the fishing, pleasure craft and swimming in Brighton from the 1800s. Very knowledgeable staff.

Very nice and interesting. I definitely could use some extra funding. I’m very thankful it’s free and open.

A good gallery space with an airy feeling. The gallery isn't large but there's plenty of room for hanging and installations

Amazing place. A must see when you visit Brighton. It is the first place I visit when I come to town and it never fails to disappoint. My personal favourite is the anchor exhibition.

A little privately-founded museum about the history of Brighton, its fishermen and the spa culture. Very nice and conveniently no admission fee.

i visited the Brighton Fishing Museum. It’s small but packed of lots of information. You can come here, visit the museum (it’s free admission) and there’s a great coffee next door.

Pop in and see what Brighton was like years ago. Just as fun as it is now, it appears! Old cine films bring to life good times of old. And it's free, and somewhere to sit for a short while.
G. B.
Really enjoyed viewing times gone by. All for free, but good to drop a few pounds into donation box:)

(Translated) The area is very beautiful there are along the sidewalk old boats as well as tools of the fishermen that used in the old days, void and small houses where they placed the fishing tools. Here there are many shops with tourist items, bars, cafes, and restaurants with main meal # fish and chips # the popular food of the English. The route is enjoyable by the sea and is a good suggestion for a refreshing walk.

(Translated) It was a very bad day and we didn't know where to go to complete our visit to Brighton, so we entered this museum on the beach. We were surprised how many objects they have. It is a very good place to better understand the relationship that the city has had with the sea and to be able to imagine how a certain part of the social life of the town has developed. The burned dock, which can be seen at first sight on a quick visit to the Palace Pier, can be seen and understood in all its splendor when touring the halls of this small but useful museum. Admission is free and the visit can take half an hour or forty minutes, depending on your interest.
