Took my teenage son here as a treat for his birthday. Quite the most extraordinary place I’ve ever visited. If you are into memorabilia they have decades of old radios, costumes from specific shows, old dinky cars and the strangest merchandise this side of the Atlantic. Relive your childhood. The cake is good too!

You should visit this wonderful little gem in the village of Montacute, Somerset. The staff are really friendly, cheerful, and approachable. An amazing little museum stacked full of toys and games from a range of decades. It doesn't matter how old you are, there is something to suit any age, and there is some items from today. There is even the odd computer and games console if you are looking hard enough. There is full standing models dressed in various outfits from the TV and films; and I thought some of them were following me around the room. There is even a shop selling toys and games, which itself is a even smaller museum.

Fantastic museum of TV, Radio and toys, with literally thousands of items to take you back to your childhood. We were only in the area to visit the nearby NT property, but we probably spent longer in this museum. It brought back a lot of memories. Thoroughly recommended, and they serve good food as well.

A delightful find in the picturesque village of Montacute. Not only does the museum have fascinating exhibits but it also serves delicious food in the café. A recommended place to visit if you find yourself in the area.

Amazing atmosphere; welcoming staff, beautiful setting. Toy museum itself was mind blowing! Spent two hours reminiscing and remembering fuzzy memories - could have spent even longer! Awesome shop - again, could have spent longer browsing the various nuggets but bank balance was screaming at me. Go and visit!

Pleasant enough staff but entrance fee of 9.99 is pricey for what you get and tearoom food expensive too. Could do with more prominent signage as the museum could quite easily be driven past if not attentive enough.

I visited your collections today with my 10 year old son with my wife, and we had a great time!
The ranger of items on display is extensive, and laid out in a very presentable fashion. We enjoyed a couple of hours at the site. It a bit concerning seeing our old television in the exhibits though! We will come again if we are in the area.
Thank you again. 10 out of 10.

You really do enter the Tardis here! An amazing trip down memory lane, a real treat especially as you can enjoy a cup of tea and a cake too! Well worth a visit, prepare to be surprised!

It's a great attraction that you wouldn't think is even there. It is a little pricey for entry but once you get inside you will be transported back in time and probably to.your childhood and you can even teach your kids/grandkids as they will be fascinated by the floor to ceiling displays

If you come to Yeovil and time is on your side and want to walk in the time when you played with toys or watched a black and white TV and stores of long ago then come here for an hour or so. And relive those days. And they have a very good tea room.

Check opening hours before going. Quirky and interesting collection of post-war film and musical memorabilia, with interesting items on sale. Very nice coffee and cakes.

while we did arrive to this museum late, it was certainly a museum I will remember. with 100 of thousands of articles, I very much enjoyed roaming around there site. it may not be the most glamorous or best layed out, but we are talking about a bed and breakfasts museum here, rather than a standard one. there museum is a lot of sheds merged together with a selection of DIY shelves inside, but this just adds to it. with artefacts (yes, I said artefacts. these are just as good as any ancient roman coins if you ask me, and I would gladly fight to support this (well, fight with scrabble)) on display such as chairs from harry hills TV burp and a wide selection of doctor who goodies, its certainly worth the visit for any TV or movie fan. I myself was just happy to find some red dwarf bits and bobs. ;-)

Sweet little spot to visit on a rainy afternoon. The collection is interesting, and the cafe was surprisingly good. The gift shop was slightly disappointing. A good experience in all though
