Reviews of Müllers & The George Müller Museum
We were visiting from the United States and we were on a driving tour of England, and while we were visiting Bath, I checked to see if there were any George Muller sites we could visit in Bristol. The George Muller Museum came up, and we decided to go for it. I'm so glad we did.
It's a beautiful museum, and at the time we were visiting, it was only a few years old in its current location.
Here's four things I loved about it:
1) It's free, which is expected, as George Muller never asked anyone to give to his work unless they felt prompted to on their own.
2) It's located in one of the orphanage sites, which gives you better sense of what life was like there.
3) It's informative. Even if you don't know the story of George Muller, you will know it by the end. (They have kid-friendly summaries of each of the informational stations as well. In fact, the whole museum is very kid-friendly without losing its appeal to adults.) There's lots of artifacts from George Muller and the orphanages he started (e.g., one of his Bibles, original uniforms, etc.).
4) It will stir your heart. I left with a sense of vision for our own time, and I'm grateful.
If you can find a way, stop by the museum.
Incredible museum & memorial for an incredible man.
We visited Bristol & this was a must for us. We found the museum informative & would be great for all ages.
Would definitely pair this up with something else during the day as it took us about a hour and half to walk round but we walked away happy & content with what we have learned.
With their help we also found his Grave at the local cemetery which I can highly recommend.
Staff were super friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
Parking could be slightly difficult as there is only 6 spaces but we were the only ones there at the time so that didn’t affect us.
We will be returning for sure.
I found my Grandmothers records that included my Great grand parents marriage certificate death certificate and her birth certificate and much more. What a great man George Müller was. The staff were brilliant!!
Here you come face to face with a little-known story of the making of modern Britain - the fairy-tale kind of story of one man (and his wife, daughter and son-in-law) who, in years when kindness to children was uncommon, built an institution to care for unprotected children.
Beside their size, the solid structure of the buildings impressed me.
Wow, kudos to George Muller and his successors!!
May they win the race to make Britain truly Great!

What an incredible testimony to God. The story of George Muller is inspiring and moving. To read about what he did through faith and prayer is incredible. To see the buildings and visit the museum really brings home the enormity of what he did and all to the glory of God. We were greeted warmly and introduced to the exhibit then left to spend time on our own. Its a small exhibition. Beautifully and clearly laid out, leaving the visitor with a clear and comprehensive explanation of the life and work of this amazing man of faith.
Very informative and well laid out. Great place to learn about George Muller's life of faith and work
This is a wonderful, interactive and educational museum with lots to see and do for kids. Highly recommend.
Very interesting museum with interactiveactivities. Well worth a visit.
What an inspiring true story of an amazing spiritual man. If only we could all walk in faith as strong as his, trusting in the Lord to provide at all times. He helped 10,000 orphans never once asking anyone but God for help and his sole purpose was to magnify God's good grace. 🙌🏻🙏🏻
No ordinary museum.!! An amazing place, telling the story of George Muller; an ordinary man who accomplished great things by having faith in an AMAZING GOD...!!! Steve was a great museum guide, who had great knowledge and was able to answer any questions I had with depth and clarity! Thank you George Muller Museum :)
If you know about George Müller and all he did throughout his life, it's worth visiting this place.
I received a biography in Spanish many years ago and from there I also heard God in the form of a thought do something similar to George Muller and that is how it has been and is .. The best thing that has happened to me in life
Knowledgeable staff showed us round a well thougt out and well presented museum of a wonderful part of the history of Bristol.
George is an amazing person but the museum needs more content. But very new so I'm sure they'll improve.
Man of God
Mr george Muller......
Great experience in a place that I was brought up in. A must for Bristolians to visit
Great Interactive experience for children plus a room with art and craft and board game.
Friendly welcome from volunteers, videos telling the George Muller story and relevant props from the past for those less into reading the story.
Humbling history of a man who's faith was legendary. Well worth a visit.
Fascinating museum of Bristol history and a life of love and faith in God
GLORY to JESUS 👍👍👍
