It looks good. Lady on the horse
It's a statue like it don't like up to you
Every hour she pops out naked riding a oss
Not much to see. It's more about the history behind it.

It's a statue. Doesn't do a lot.

Very nice place.
Interesting place and story
Iconic statue in Coventry
Whatever the true history of this woman actually is, she's the symbol of Coventry. also, she's situated in front of a collection of very nice restaurants, making for a lovely view while eating. There are also plenty of benches to sit and enjoy a lunch in the square, and numerous events throughout the year make full use of the available space.
BEAUTIFUL place for pictures
Quality with city fans❤️❤️
Beautiful statue.
Nice place to hangout
Centre point in great city
It a statue of lady godiva
Busy hub for the city centre
If you look you are a Peeping Tom
Perfect story ....
Been there long time
Great piece of Coventry culture. Also love the clock which on the hour has Godiva riding upon a moving horse and peeping Tom poking his head out of a window.
A great landmark to pick out for meeting at, most places lead to this statue and it's large so difficult to miss.
However, it's not THAT big of a deal though - it is just a statue after all.
Nice
Awesome.
Lovely view
A must see for Coventry
The ststue is nice....
Statue what more can I say
A nice memorial to the Lady of Coventry
One word beautiful
Nice square...
Just a statue haha
Located in the city centre of Coventry, this square and statute is a good place for a break and sit (outdoor) the square is sorrounded by shopping centres and by standing there you can have a good picture of different brands and malls. There are several restaurants and cafés you can use for a break during your shopping. The statue itself is nice and you can get a beautiful shot if you are interested in photography.

Nude metal.
When I first visited Coventry a year ago for a university open day, I was slightly surprised to see a statue like this in the middle of a public area. After being in Coventry for three weeks I now know the story behind the statue. It has an interesting story behind it. Unfortunately, there isn't a notice board nearby to explain it, so I would suggest searching 'Lady Godiva Coventry' online or visiting tourist information to find out more.
There is also a clock nearby, which also features Lady Godiva and is definitely worth a visit. It chimes every hour, on the hour.
Worth a visit

A statue in the city center with a story. Please visit the museum together, as some of the paintings in its collection are about this statue.
Lady Godiva is a character from a medieval English legend, (11th century) She was an Anglo-Saxon lady, famous for her kindness and beauty, married to Leofric (968-1057), lord of Coventry. Its Anglo-Saxon name, Godgifu or Godgyfu, means gift of God, Latin Godiva. This lady, pitying the sufferings and hardships of her vassals, sympathized with them. She asked him to lower her taxes. The earl agreed, but on the condition that she tour Coventry on horseback, wearing nothing but her long hair. The lady did so, agreeing with her neighbors that they would lock themselves in their houses so as not to disturb her in her nakedness. On the chosen day, Lady Godiva walked naked through the town, mounted on her horse, while all the residents of Coventry remained locked up in their houses with the windows closed. Leofric, moved by his wife's gesture, kept his promise and lowered taxes.
It's in the middle of the square. It seems like the cleaning isn't going well.
When I visited, there was a classic car festival going on, so there was a lot to see... but it's not a good place to travel near London.
A nice square with some good restaurants and bars nearby. A lot of trash and junk in the area.
A beautiful statue, nothing unusual except that it is naked. More interesting is the story of this lady.
Every hour, when the clock bell rings, you can see wooden sculptures simulating the famous episode of Lady Godiva
Worth a visit, especially when the bus comes
City centre Coventry is a great place to be, open spaces for kids to run about and play... Majestic cathedral with a view, and as the bells chime every hour, lady Godiva can be seen on a horse...( On the wall)..must visit
I think the plaza should be redesigned and improved. But the statue is beautiful.
Nothing special.
It is a beautiful monument located in a beautiful area. The only complaint is about the homeless people who are in that area.
(Translated) Icon of the city, tourist to see.
(Original)
Ikona miasta, turystycznie do zobaczenia.
Harmony of stylish statues and colorful lights
Probably a place that every tourist will visit. vast freedom
Like nandos;);good chicken;);good chicken
Interesting if you have read the full story of Lady Godiva
Coventry city center is a good place to visit
Beautiful Statue of Lady Godiva in Broadgate ....the City Centre of Coventry Town ....... Lady Godiva was the wife of the Earl of Leofric .... they between them owned most of the Land in West Mercia ...... The Earl of Leofric wanted to put the Taxes up .....the people of the City was in arms as they were Poor and couldn't afford to pay anymore .....Lady Godiva a compassionate caring person ......said to her husband the Earl of Leofric that she would ride Naked around the City ....if he would detract from raising the Taxes ..... not believing that she would do it he agreed .....Lady Godiva did as promised ....and rode round the City naked .....bearing in mind though she wasn't nude as one imagines .... for a Lady to go out without out all her regailia on ....ie Headdress and Jewlery ....was considered as naked ......she did have a simple slip on to cover her modesty .....😊
🆒 🗽 😁
A statue in the middle of a mall.
👍👍👍
This square is great
It's worth seeing
OK there.
Was fun to sit with my son and watch the world go by. A wonderful part of culture as the clock strikes.
Okay
A monument as a monument
Coventry city centre
Beautiful Statue
Simply a monument of the persona of importance for the city history. For a monument it's great. But at the end of the day that is simply a monument in the middle of unattractive square
Nice looking monument symbolising Coventry and the fight for low taxes. Shame about the chavs occasionally vandalising it, but usually quickly cleared up by council.
A beautiful statue. Been there for donkeys years. But feels like it's in the shadow of the Clock which plays the scene of Lady Godiva on every hour.
Awesome history behind the whole lady Godiva.
As a statue it does just what you want it to do, I haven't seen it move once so that's a plus.
WARNING statue is nude, be careful with your kids
Broadgate, where Lady Godiva is placed, is always a good space in Coventry to relax and find some history. I really love stay here and I recommend the visit!!
Nice to see this area getting used more for events etc.. Coventry needs more of this to get us back on the map. We're rapidly falling behind with things to do In Coventry
Great local history and the statue is definately worth a visit. Pedestrian area is very open and a good place to take in the local sights.
An absolute must for any trip to Coventry. In the main square these days.
Look out for the hourly "parade" of Lady Godiva with Peeping Tom at the clock tower.
Great place to spend time like in a park... Ease to experience coventry lifestyle and best spot in city centre.
Beautiful statue worth a look 👌
I like the statue and the clock. The lady and peeping Tom comes out of the clock every hour on the hour. Fun to watch.
Lady Godiva statue is one of the most popular places in Coventry. Nice place indeed.
Great things to do. A lot of shops, restaurant. The culture is spread out. Really worth to check out
Beautiful statue in Coventry's restaurant quarter. Great view of the Godiva clock too!
Lovely statue and nice area to sit and relax also have things on like roller-skating and Ice skating
Hi all my self and cousin Andy had a great time in Coventry are having a lovely and visiting all the attraction
This iconic statue is situated in Broadgate..surrounded by all the new big named restaurants..
Great square, plenty of eateries and coffee shops
The world famous godiva clock with lady godiva on horse naked ,with peeking tom looking out window
It's free to look at, there is a clock overlooking this that shows animated versions of Godiva on her horse being chased by Peeping Tom. A very short walk, and you get to see a grotesque model of Peeping Tom embedded in an overhanging tunnel between buildings on your way towards the Phoenix statue in the Bullyard
A beautiful monument that makes you find out more about Coventry's history.
A well kept statue in the middle of the city centre. It is overlooked by a clock that, on the hour, tells the story of Lady Godiva.
Good statue, much square!
Good range of restaurants nearby with a few tourist things nearby, good shopping nearby aswell
Well maintained, its nice to see some historical characters here in Coventry
Nice place, but they could add some more things for better views
Love this lady so proud of her. She is Coventry .you known your home when you see her
I haven't actually been here. I'm using a fake GPS app so I can play Snatch®️ all over the country.
You can't take Coventry out of the kid. Still looking good after all these years
As far as monuments go, this was a nice place to eat my lunch with my wife.
Coventry is a historic city good if u like cathedrals
It's airy, a good spot to sit and wait for a friend or to take in a good scenery
Good. Shopping area. Plenty seats where to sit out side.
Brilliant monument, god knows why someone would vandalize such a beautiful monument
One of Coventry's most iconic and well known sight to see
Great City of Culture decorations. Broadgate Coventry.
A statue of Lady Godiva in the centre of the square. There are often fairs and expo’s held around it including food, fair rides, and many others.
A lovely monument that represents our history (and that gets dressed up on occasions)
Good statue took some photos.
Cant add place but there is a clock with Lady Godiva bell clock and peeping tom
Tells a story which may be fictitious but still a good story about tax and the poor, nothing changes even after a millennium.
Lovely historic statue of lady Godiva. Lovely ambient lighting on it at night
The square is very vibrant and full of high street shops, cafés and restaurants.
There was a very nice saxophone playing busker adding to the ambiance.
The number of homeless peopl and others who were clearly affected By substance abuse really saddened me.
Lovely statue of Lady Godiva in a not so nice square.
Very nice place to sit or stroll, on a sunny day.
One of the top five naked woman on a horse statues in Coventry
What a monument to Coventry. She is magnificent in her glory!
Serves as a good place to organise meeting up with others.
Nice weiw, nice place to sit and relax, I really enjoyed it 😄

The iconic Godiva Statute IS the Place you meet at the statue
Beautiful statue right in coventry city centre!!

Historic monument. Great for photos.
Nice place to people watch on bench here
Great place to chill out especially when the fair is out, it's a good time for kids.
Needs a good clean, but still amazing
Proud emblem of civic pride in the heart of the city.
Nice focal point in the middle of the square
Leo-frikking awesome, but a bit racy for my liking
It's a statue. That's for sure. Very busy around it most of the time.
Standard thing nothing much to say and a great quick skate spot
Coventry's town square.
Big plaza, lots of shops and banks, lookout for pickpockets
It's a statue, but somewhat iconic
Nice to sit and watch the world go by.
It's a nice place to sit out and enjoy the local scene. it gets a lot of foot traffic since it's at the city centre.
Good to see vist Coventry see the legend.
