Reviews of Tower of Bandrum

An interesting tower almost in the middle of nowhere. Nowhere is probably a good description as it seems to be located on someone's farm. The tower is octagonal with Gothic design and surprisingly made with lots of details such as ashlar blocks, niches and sills indicating attention to decorative features surprising for a look-out. Not much of the interior is left to look at though. There’s a spiral staircase where the upper half has fallen.
Back in the day, this was a lookout tower and a well sited one at that as it has views over the countryside all the way to the estuary.
