Lots of unusual objects and information relating to the area. Very interesting. I had a look around after viewing the cathedral and castle . Well worth the time. Pop in while in the area.

If you want a glimpse into the history of picturesque Durham, then this is the place for you. When I went, the counters were staffed by archeology students, perfect for a county like Durham.
