Reviews of Dollar Museum
Fab wee museum. Loads of interesting info for all ages. Loved the dolls house❣️
Small but nice little museum. Friendly staff
Small museum house full of treasures and details to explore
Interesting and nice helpful volunteers
Great place for active people!
Quite interesting
It is very instructive of the History of Dollar
I don't know him in person but I recommend him, don't miss out.
Unfortunately Dollar Museum is closed till June 2022. Giving it 4 stars because it was good when I visited it a couple of years ago. Apparently they will have a couple of new exhibitions when it opens again in June.
Tiny little place but wow, I could spend days in there.
The staff were fantastic too.
Well done everyone for what you have achieved 💙
A family run local community museum at the foothill of Campbell Castle giving insight into the Dollar's history and culture. It will 15 to 30 mins to visit whole place. Couple who run it are very friendly folks.
Great wee museum to know all about Dollar and the surrounding area. Run by great, passionate and friendly volunteers. Second floor was closed due to Covid restriction.
I visited Scotland for the 1st time in Mid September 2018. Being a Campbell I definitely made the Castle Campbell visit a priority for places to see. Everywhere I visited, mostly in the remote country side, the sheer beauty and cleanlinessww is amazing. I visited the museum after visiting the castle. I spoke with a most lovely lady to after a short introduction learned that we shared the same last name. Ms.Jennefer Campbell, I am the one from North Carolina where the hurricane Florence was tearing up while I was in Scotland. I got the last print of the castle you had. I’m really proud to own the print but it’s the story that you told me about my ancestors was a once in a lifetime thing. Ms.Jennefer I thank you again and I would like to wish you, your family, and the wonderful people of Scotland 🏴
Excellent local history museum, where you can find about Dollar, it's people, and history. Worth visiting
Brilliant, all done by volunteers, well done to you all. Downstairs accessible to wheelchairs, small and condensed. Very helpful
