Reviews of Glasgow Print Studio

A gallery which has had a large measure of success over many years. I visited the superb Ken Currie exhibition. There is an excellent selection of high quality prints for sale.

If you try to find a place to see, to buy, and get artprint related stuff this one is the only one with wide variety of style and technique of print, especially art print works. Regularly, they also have a various exhibition by artist in the modern contemporary artprint world

One of my favourite places in Glasgow over the years. It's not just a gallery space- they gave really good weekend art classes as well! I feel that many people who live in Glasgow still don't know about it, which is a shame.
They have a gallery opening every first Thursday of the month and it's a good time to enjoy a complimentary drink and some jelly beans. It's also a good place for interesting and unique gifts - printed mugs and affordable prints. They feature mostly local artists and slightly more famous ones like John Byrne or Elizabeth Blackadder. These pictures are from the last opening I was at.

If your interest is in printmaking this is a must when visiting Glasgow. Member's workshop upstairs not open to public. Gallery space below on two levels exhibiting a changing rota of their member's original artist's prints, also browsers with a variety of prints in various sizes. Prices seem to start at £100 for small prints up to over and we'll past a grand, so not a casual purchase, but it costs nothing to look!

Worth a visit would recommend to tourists and local people

I have never been in the print studios before and was highly impressed with the modernisation inside. I loved the exhibition that was on the ground floor and the lovely unique cafe. I also gathered loads of different info of what's on in Glasgow throughout May and all about the Edinburgh Festival. I didn't venture upstairs due to time constraints but I am looking forward to going back. Dxx

The art work is brilliant. They've got a collection being shown by a guy called Alasdair Wallace which is superb.
