Loved it! Great display. Kudos for lady creating this incredible slice of life. Highly recommend!

A must see when you're in Glencoe, fascinating history of the area and a great explanation of the masacre of Glencoe, not what we are generally led to believe
N. C.
One of the loveliest wee museums we've visited. So much to see/read for a small installation. The staff make this place - very friendly and engaging!

A small and beautiful museum that tells the story of the region

Collection of local memorabilia. Great coverage of the Macdonald massacre.

Great museum! Gives a great sense and feel for life in Glencoe over the years. This one of the stops that takes a holiday from snaps to experiences. Highly recommend.

Great place to visit so much to see

Small village museum in a thatched building with several rooms and a good collection. Some of the bits need updating/maintenance but they need people through the door paying the entry fee to support such things so definitely go if you’re in the area. The volunteers were very friendly and helpful.

For a small museum it has a lot of information and exhibits about the local area. From things like the Glencoe massacre to the ballachulish goddess there has to be at least 1 thing that interests you. There is a couple different buildings outside with exhibitions which explain certain events. Very good for £3
T. B.
Small, but worth a look, filled with a lit of information x

Very nice lady at the ticket office. I learned a bit of Scottish history of the Glencoe area, and especially liked the instructions on how to wrap the kilt in the olden days.

Cute museum, quite small...
P. S.
Great little museum originally established by a local lady with varied displays, some focused on the Glencoe massacre of 1792 - a terrible period of English history. Well worth £3 and a half hour.
S. H.
Lovely little museum. The curator was very helpful and informative.

A nice little museum with plenty of charm, an interesting room with details on the Glencoe MacDonald massacre. Friendly staff and there is a children’s activity table with things for them to do. You only need 30-45 mins as it’s small but worth a quick visit if you are in the area.
O. K.
Lovely quaint little museum and very knowledgable gentleman working there
Great value for money for £3 entry fee

Beautiful building but quite outdated museum! I really wish you all the best for the future. Glencoe is such a beautiful place to visit and I can't wait to see this being a reflection!

Although a small museum there are lots of very interesting items to see some which I can remember from my gran's house. Outbuildings contain a wealth of memorabilia. Well worth a visit .

Glencoe is a beautiful stopping point in your drive through the Highlands. This is my second time in Glencoe but my first stop at the Following Museum. It's worth the stop and the few pounds entry fee. They do a great job giving you a feeling of life in Glencoe with an emphasis on the period around World War I.
M. V.
Nice little museum, clearly kept with great dedication and care by the locals.
Warning! For those who have been living under a rock (like me): one of the rooms contains spoilers from previous series of "Game of Thrones"!
P. S.
Dinky museum running the gamut between domesticity, through the toughness of slate mining to the treachery and betrayal of massacre. I learned loads. Friendly helpful staff.

For £3 entry and a non-intimidating, brief overview of the local history, including The Glencoe Massacre, this place is well worth a quick visit. Can be done in 30mins or less.

Although small it's full of treasures all relating to Highland life. A pistol found at the battle of Culloden. A chair said to have been sat on by James Stewart. The christening gown of the Mcdonald clan.
The entrance fee is very cheap but be warned the door ways are very low.
T. K.
