Bit of a tricky walk to get to the ruins.

Absolutely entrancing the red brick walls of the castle are mesmerising! An amazing place for family and very common amongst dog walkers in the area . There's the river Clyde flowing next to it and David Livingstone Bridge a walk from the castle. Situated in a beautiful affluent area.

The photos people are putting on here are of bothwell castle which is over the river and not the same place. The ruin of this priory is a few stones that are left in some woodland. Nothing much to see at all. Its just somewhere for locals to walk there dogs.

Bit of a tricky walk off the Blantyre Farm Road but worth the walk. Best to do on a bright sunny day.
