An easy 5 stars. Superb display of genuinely fascinating and important historical artefacts. The volunteer guides are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and took time to make sure my kids enjoyed themselves. This is a superb and free family destination and feels like a Glasgow essential.

Very neat! The volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Bought some lovely pottery from the gift shop and got to meet the potter!

What an interesting place. The building is fine and, of course, the ancient objects were fascinating...as in the best of interpretive sites. But the information boards were supplemented by conversations with two very knowledgeable volunteers. These were men with a commitment to sharing their joy, their fascination and their wonderings as much as their knowledge. Sincere thanks.

Well worth a visit, superb guides who really bring the story of the stones to life. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic time! This free exhibition has so much history, culture and also passion of the people doing it behind it and is well worth a trip for anyone! I was given a „wee“ tour of the stones and my guide, Scott, took over an hour to tell me historical and artistic details and explain theories about the stones. It was magical and I felt like a kid at christmas learning more about these stones. They‘re beginning probing the churchyard again just now and I even got to look at a grave marker they had just uncovered and meet the professor working on the dig. I would encourage everyone who can to leave a donation so they can invest even more into this great project about the area :)

So much history in such a small area. Don't overlook this wee gem of a place if you're visiting Glasgow, even if you're local you'll get something out of a visit!

It is free. They gave a one hour private tour all included. It was very informative and unique. Stones date back to 500's. Impressive collection.

Take the tube and then walk two blocks to go from bustling Glasgow to this sweet little oasis of history and quiet. As others have said here, this is a gem.

It's fascinating, especially given how old these stones are. Third visit to see them and I will go back.
